Please listen and look what she's doing first! what you have to do to keep the the crochet in the string is to repeat the same thing to the first step and pull the string to not leave a circle wide open! ^w^ I hope this helps! Once I realized that the magic ring is JUST A SLIPKNOT that is not pulled tight, it became so easy to use all the time. We all make a slipknot to start a chain, just leave the "knot" part loose enough to make your chains into and you've got it.

    The reason why i feel as tho so many people don't get it is you have to go over and then under with your yarn, sandwiching the loop / string. It took me Twenty minutes of trying until i finally watched it and understood. Don't worry, you got this.👍

    I was struggling with this for a while but realized my mistake, I was pulling the yarn with my hook from the front then from the back and once I realized my mistake and fixed it, it all came together!! Pay attention to how she makes the yarn go through one another cause it’s so crucial. That one mistake messed me up a lot but now I got it :))

    i FINALLY GOT IT! HAHAHAHA! I KEPT WORKING MY STITCHES RIGHT INTO THE MAGIC RING AND NOT OVER THE TAIL END AND THE MAGIC RING

  • @mrsdinosaur1009
    @mrsdinosaur1009 4 місяці тому

    I do my magic rings differently and there probably are many ways to do it, but it does the job and that's all that matters.
    Usually it's a case of chain 1 or 2 which helps lock the ring (for want of a better word) once you have the magic ring ready to go. I then loop the ring over my middle finger on my left hand (as I crochet like I'm knitting) making it easier for me to work the stitches needed into the ring. But I find that the ring starts to become quite loose after a while so I wondered how I could stop that from happening. So I experimented and I have now found that when the ring is ready I chain 1 using the tail of the ring rather than with working yarn. Doing that seems to lock the ring far better and it doesn't become loose when working stitches in to it. It works well for me but I would love to see if it works as well for other people. Bear in mind it may only work well for me due to the way I do my magic ring
