I don't play. I dig for new stuff all the time, especially in outsider genres. I love learning what musicians think about other musicians. But there's more than enough breakdowns of anything that's been on commercial radio. Learning about how things are composed and their influence makes this type of arrangement go from noise to art. I view Clowncore as pushing jazz forward by bringing black metal and electronic music together with a freestyle jazz window. It's highly satirical and should be taken lightly. But the skill and musicianship is beyond anything, their way of presenting the project is of its time. I love how they have taken the Residents lead, we know who they are but they keep ( to borrow a term from wrestling) kayfabe. Which these days is difficult to do.
