I like how people from all kinds of music backgrounds and tastes can come together and find something they genuinely enjoy about these guys. Whether it be the insane drum rolls, the bliss sax solo's that come out of nowhere, the completely chaotic and ridiculous humour and the insane level of skill on show. Something for everyone.
I’ve come to the conclusion that Clowncore’s aesthetic is essential to the point of the music/art. You have possibly 2 of the best jazz artists playing their perspective instruments in complex and amazing ways using jazz fusion easily one of thee most laughed at and misunderstood genres of music. You have to “sift thru the shit” if you want to find the art, it’s very hard to explain but the distrusting nature of the videos, the fusion of extreme metal within it, and the shit ass vocals. All of that is there to force you to sit and pay attention, your ears comb thru a bunch of garbled nonsense just to find pure liquid gold underneath Fuckin love Clowncore

Louis is in the band Knower, they are an electronica jazz/funk band and Sam plays with them sometimes. Louis Cole also puts out music as a solo artist. He’s a talented multi- instrumentalist and singer but best known for his jazz drumming. TL - I want to hear you play your saxophone now! I hope someday you do! ✌️🎶
They remind me of some frank zappa where hell have an 19 minute song and the first 7.5 minutes are dick and balls jokes but if you make it through that you are rewarded with the greatest 10 minute solo of your goddam life

I think Louis Cole said he doesn't want to be rich, but have enough to do what he wants (and write his own music). They tour Europe pretty often it seems, and their talent is known. The ensemble pieces they do at his house are pretty wild (he'll be in the hallway upstairs, while there's 20 horn players in the living room, a keyboardist on the stove.

I was introduced to Clowncore on Justin Hawkins’ channel. I was trying to remember the *secret* drummer, thanks! That blue van is hilarious! They are both obviously very talented! It’s a wild and chaotic experience, definitely interesting! As for Pete and Bas, I’m so glad you recommended them! Love those guys!

They recorded those tracks in a porta potty and van, LIVE (see the mics and the laptop?). The drummer (Louis Cole records lots of stuff in his house). Those parts where they play the one note, they're showing how tight they are (they can't see each other... they're counting 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8).
