To anyone who's come into this as confused as I was/still am, start at 3:55 and just try to make it all the way to the 6:00 mark. That's what sold me. These are very clearly very skilled musicians and this ironic avante garde bullshit is right up my alley. Respect

I sent this to Shia Labeouf. He responded that he went back in time to form this band with Jesus, practiced in limbo for two thousand years, and then reintegrated with the timeline to make this. I am proud to know Shia Labeouf. He knows a thing.
Too many musicians outhere don't really do what they want or can't really do what they want, for many reasons. It could be anything, from skill to stuffs or simply life. We all have a goal to pursue, and the only way is hard work. Anyway, i just want to thank you for existing.
Adult Swim has given me a lot over the years, but nothing like or as good as Clown Core! Nice [as] Also who else uses a van in the rhythm section? Just hope there's some one out there.
There's an excellent scene in the sound of noise where a drummer plays in the back of a van & the van revving & changing gears is used as an instrument

Only after listening to the album in full was I able to realise how exceptional Sam Gendel is on saxophone. There's at least 3 completely different styles of playing here, and his use of flutter tongue is on point too. It's a shame he doesn't receive that much "screen time" in Louis Cole's projects, but I'm biased: I'm a saxophonist myself.

@@Rov-Nihil nah, Tobin would have had some wild 3D projections running in the van
@Severed Bloody Impulse so uncivilized
I wish I had this album when I was a teenager. That shit woulda hit me so damn hard.
About 30 seconds into it it becoame obvious that these guys are phenomenal musicians. This is clever - and overflowing with serious musical chops.
You want a cookie?
The Uber guy: hey I'm your Uber
Clown core: yeah I'm downstairs in a minute, just grab my stuff
these comments😂
Uber: any special requirements? These guys: he's got to wear a mask. Uber: all our drivers wear masks. These guys: a clown mask.
the phrasing and chord progression at the end of "End" sounds like something written centuries ago. Love it.
These guys are such musical geniuses you literally can't put them in any genre and the are the only band I know of that's also considered "clowncore" absolutely unique
I'm shocked by 4:54. Two keyboards + snare + hit-hat + bass drum? It's just nuts! The level of this guy is out of mind!!!!!!
yeah but dude, during that, 5:16 is the best shot of the whole video...
On par with Neil Peart or Lars Ulrich
@@beantown_billy2405 lars is ass
You forgot the honky horn!
fun fact, they are pop artist / jazz, its louis cole from knower with sam gendel.
2:40 you missed your opportunity by a few years and a few million bucks
i want to get high as all hell and have a panic attack to this
I wanna drop like 7 tabs and go ride a bike down my street in boxer briefs to this.
@@Dr_Monitor Hill bomb in combat boots and booty shorts on like a strip and a half of jellies.
sounds not fun but I bet it’s 100% worth it xD
fucking did it, I'm a changed man
being high made it fun.
While I'm intrigued to find out this is what's happening in every van it's just terrible that all the investigative journalists had to give their life for this to be exposed.
love how end is a blue screen of death. really hits hard.
To anyone who's come into this as confused as I was/still am, start at 3:55 and just try to make it all the way to the 6:00 mark. That's what sold me. These are very clearly very skilled musicians and this ironic avante garde bullshit is right up my alley. Respect
No. Start from beginning 0:00 and got to the end 🤣
why would you start and end there?
@@MangasColoradas941 lmao right? I listen to this album from start to finish
@@MangasColoradas941 that's where the lightweights should start I reckon
The incredibly tight percussion from Earth sold me. These are top tier musicians that give 0 fucks and I love it
I just came across this, loved it and wanted to show friends, they are yet to respond.
A friend I took music with in school came back with "They are so talented I could watch this for hours" and I have to agree, I keep coming back to it and instead of losing anything I keep finding new things to appreciate. It's a weird one but it's definitely a masterpiece.
I just sent this to a buddy I talk to daily. It's been 10 minutes and he hasn't responded yet. This isn't like him.
I sent it to my brother and he ate my mom
I sent this to Shia Labeouf. He responded that he went back in time to form this band with Jesus, practiced in limbo for two thousand years, and then reintegrated with the timeline to make this. I am proud to know Shia Labeouf. He knows a thing.
yeah same 🙄
Too many musicians outhere don't really do what they want or can't really do what they want, for many reasons. It could be anything, from skill to stuffs or simply life. We all have a goal to pursue, and the only way is hard work. Anyway, i just want to thank you for existing.
Mr Hankey's skill with the keyboards was unexpected.
"Tears of God" is STUNNING.
The visuals with it are soooo good, too.
They nailed that one
It has a 1980s public TV vibe for some reason. Like it would be a transitionary sting
I'm actually totally obssessed with this
I found clown core about 3 years ago. I cant stop myself from coming back.
Even without all the gimmicks and visuals this album is the bee's!
Unironically fuggin slaps
I see no gimmicks - just two fellas musically telling everyone who thinks they're talented to fuck themselves
Adult Swim has given me a lot over the years, but nothing like or as good as Clown Core! Nice [as]
Also who else uses a van in the rhythm section? Just hope there's some one out there.
AS featured them a couple times, AFAIK...
There's an excellent scene in the sound of noise where a drummer plays in the back of a van & the van revving & changing gears is used as an instrument
Hurrah Torpedo?
How many times do you think they were like, "DAMN IT, MATT! YOU WERE ON KEY START OVER!"?
This music is so amazingly insane, I keep coming back to this album from time to time, and it's just, perfect. Wish I had someone among my friends that could actually appreciate it because it's a misunderstood masterpiece.
"I NEED TO SHOW THIS TO SOMEONE"
*[proceeds to have nobody to show it to]*
This isn't misunderstood, it's just not popular music.. lots of influence from music people don't typically listen to
We're here for you, fellow clowncore enjoyer.
Only after listening to the album in full was I able to realise how exceptional Sam Gendel is on saxophone. There's at least 3 completely different styles of playing here, and his use of flutter tongue is on point too. It's a shame he doesn't receive that much "screen time" in
Louis Cole's projects, but I'm biased: I'm a saxophonist myself.
That fella is a powerhouse! Everything he's released in the last four or five years has been fantastic
He’s traded screen time for scream time.
I am a sexophonist myself
Ca veut dire i play sex
With myself
Especially after experiencing reading the words on slow speed with the distorted sound, this is the most out there insane shit ive ever heard and i appreciate every note and word of it
7:54 Mr Hankey's solo is sick.
Damnit lmao
that driver is thinking "why does no-one believe me when i tell them about the things i see while driving?"
Duuude, I was such a fan of Knower and these dudes. Only noticed they were the same peeps after I watched their vids back to back by random chance. Blew my mind.
Love the melodic breaks, like 4:55 is truly exceptional
I highly recommend this. These are the only clowns that make me smile when I’m feeling sad or fucken furious.
I will just say... this is the only thing keeping me sane. Consider it constructive interference with the chaotic waves in my own head. I've never felt so moved by a piece of art. Call it ridiculous, but it makes me feel something different inside of me. Thanks Clown Core!
There is only one person on earth who just LOVES the rising chromatic bassline and is a killer drummer at the same time. And he is the best living musician IMO. Also the stars in the sky look very familiar.
Tears of god hits a lot of different nostalgic buttons for me.
I need an expanded "existence" so bad, but the longing that brings when it vanishes is fitting.
