@joshrundle what if you climb is scored by what your own limit is? For example, you could score higher on a V11 (if that’s your limit),than a pro on V13, if that pro has a documented climb at V14. The closer the individual climber is to his/her limit, the higher the score. You could toss in flash/2nd&3rd attempt modifiers
@confusedclimbs I like that she pointed out advantages she has being a smaller climber, I mostly hear it the other way around where shorter climbers complain about the advantages taller climbers have. Advantages and disadvantages in both. climb to your strengths!
He is a really good amateur, but definitely an amateur. V11 is not a level that could be considered pro, even disregarding the fact that he simply doesn't live from climbing. I know a V11 climber who works a normal day job and I know he is far from the only one.
v11 or so is near the cap in amateur difficulty. v12 typically is the peak and v13 bleeds into pro. 14, and especially 15(+) is pro. 16/17 are world class. It takes like 7-10 years to get to v11 if you consistently climb hard, which if you take into consideration most people who start climbing do so their entire life, isn't that bad. Hope that makes sense!
@nirvaesh magduuuuuust!!! hopefully one day i will have the opportunity to travel to different gyms around the world (and rock as well). Though luckily I have 2 climbing gyms within walking distance from me.
I have a wall in my garden. I left my chalk bucket under a gazebo under a table, and it was soaking wet this morning, so I couldn't take it to the gym. Anywho, I just ordered your chalk bucket, Josh.
I secretly hope Josh’s middle name starts with T. Then we can call his strut when he does well the “trundle”. Also props to Josh for securing such a distinguished guest. I recently saw a video where Magnus Emil and Eric all talked about how they have never been able to get her on their channels.
@frankieleprechaun Can’t believe the amount of tension going through you in the first boulder. As a tall climber much shorter than you would love to see you coming up with contents on tension holding for tall ppl in boxes lol
the recreation of the scorpion move on boulder 3. Just wondering why not aking original footage and recreating it ^^ (exposed by reaching for another hold as in the actual send try)
@luke_piggott_73 it’s so cool to see you collabing with these insane climbers in awesome gyms. Love to see your channel grow and seeing these creative entertaining ads
@chiquis._.94 got into climbing 1 year ago and loving every minute of it. Been watching your content as well as others on my journey. Even built my own home wall 2 months into climbing 😅
"Josh Rundle", more like Josh Fumble at the end of boulder #2
😂😅 ngl this hurt, but only coz it’s true 😂
If only you got points for try hard. Cause at least you have great attempts.
@@ericlin158 thanks! maybe in the next vid, I’ll just make up new rules just for me 😉😂
Best comment here.

14:00 Even going full try hard mode and Josh manage to look good. Epic save 💪
haha thanks! I was trying so hard haha
I love to see an "Average" climber comparing to a pro, keep it up Josh!
I like how v11 is amateur
then what are we ?

@mylifeisindisarray Jana's finger strength is INSANE!
@gowrissen - the flash is over whenever I see crimps popping up as well, can't leave enough chalk marks behind on those minuscule holds
@timgrobe, I love that bag! Would be so exited about it.
@mystishio I love the look of the chalkbucket.
Jana's strong as hell! And you're pretty funny! 😁

the recreation of the scorpion move on boulder 3. Just wondering why not aking original footage and recreating it ^^ (exposed by reaching for another hold as in the actual send try)

@letsblended need some of the mags-dust.
@captainoflogic
Enjoyed the vid! Love to see the difference style preference makes at such a high level.
The small crashpads are dangerous for the ankles. Seem to be off for the boulders.
We use them in Czechia and Slovakia, never had an issue with them. If anything, it makes the big drops nicer.
@nomnomstan First one already looks insane!
@le_rem_ben such a nice collab between two so different climbers!
@death.by.dualtex the czech police for sure recognized magnus in the back and let you go
@finnmcgeehan need me some of that mag dust

@nicscaglioni Another great video Josh.
@san__josy i blame the gym for the "cheating" on the first boulder. so it's basically adam ondras fault...
You need to find problems that require the 'forbidden technique' 😂
@nick_mcarthey I just found your channel a few weeks ago - it's been great to binge!
magnus in the car seat
@cosmaloid good lord I could really do with a new chalk bag
