The AWE definitely sounded nicer and more crispy on the start up but your setup sounded better under load and when revving knockouts setup sounds more like the original exhaust of the car just at a higher dB

Getting ready to have my first exhaust mod done. Been driving my wife, mexhanic, and self crazy going over options. I think im going to have an h-pipe installed and have two borla pro xs's replace the two rear resonators. I want something deep and aggressive with out drone or trying to be a V8. I hear a lot of people saying the borla pros arent very loud though...i hope the h-pipe helps with that. I would love aby feedback.
I like both , going with MBpr for my 5.7
That MBRP with the catless setup sounds smooth... aggressive especially at the distance... and Damn Sure on the downshifts. BUT, that AWE SLAPS soon as those tires break loose... and bullies the rest of the way out. Sounded Almost as loud as the catless without being catless.

typically I always like H-pipes for American muscle, x-pipes for euro sports, and y-pipe for v-6 and under JDM. Two of the exceptions being jag and merc v8's that seem to fit all 3 characteristics.

The x-pipe has a bit more of a well tuned wail, you notice more how the car climbs RPMs ... the h-pipe sounds flat when getting on it... like you said what works for some may not sound as nice for another. I'll take the X-pipe for sure.

This why mopars get made fun of. They spend 1.2k on an exhaust that gains them 2 crank hp on a good day when they could get a hellcat airbox and a unlocked pcm with a tune and gain 30 wheel hp for the same price. This why scats stay getting gapped by mustangs. The widebody fenders aint enough drag and still drop another 300 on a big ass wing that slows down the car top end so now you end up losing hp 😂 going backwards
Not every Mopar driver is concerned about horsepower or racing lmao jesus christ man. I push an RT and I’m focused on looks and sound right now. I want to make sure my car isn’t sounding like every single stock RT right now and I want to upgrade the interior, rims and tires. I want to Cam it for the sound, the added horsepower is just a bonus. I got all that drive fast energy out of my system in my early 20’s. Not that deep buddy 😂
