Would have been really nice to see a monument on top of the hill, maybe an observatory too! Could have definitely done work to raise the land value and get some of those high value houses you were looking for with stuff like monuments, parks.... I mean it’s right next to the zoo.... like the idea of it being zoned but really would be good to see some kind of focal point on the top of the hill to make it an awesome view from all over the city to match the awesome view it has on the city!
The area behind the mountain near the zoo would make an amazing tourism district with specialized commercial and some tourism buildings like a stadium or something. It would also be awesome to throw in a cruise ship connection!
0:46 when you pulled up the fire service coverage: See how the green fades off as it goes around the loop? The small service buildings don't provide coverage for the other side of the zoo loop and monorail avenue road (they're completely grey, no green) because it's such a long one-way section- combined with the fact that they couldn't turn around at the intersection, they might not have even bothered to spawn. Lane arrows aren't always right at intersections when you mess with both Move It and TM:PE. The slip road fixed it, I guess. There are so many little AI things that I can't explain properly via youtube comments haha
I love how when I watch your older Sims 4 Let's Plays it's always "HEY GUYS JAMES HERE TODAY!!" and when I switch to this it's like you're whispering and really chill. Just got aware of that and thought it was interesting. :D
Is that island big enough for the Panda Sanctuary? Because it can technically be part of the zoo, but since it also needs a road it would make sense for the cable car
JAMES!! When I was a kid I was so obsessed with the zoo that we went every month for years. An annual pass well spent for my parents. Your argument is invalid 😋
Really enjoying the series. I am a recent subscriber and I love how you build organically and pay attention to the details. I am getting ready myself to start a new city and am following closely for tips. Keep up the videos!
James, You can connect more roads so that services can reach a wider area. If you don't want general traffic to use those roads, you can use traffic manager to band anything but emergency and garbage vehicles from using the road. That is will help coverage so much without making traffic worse, and often times will improve traffic.
i really hope hte main big downtown part of the city is on the other side of that bridge infront of the waterfall, would look so neat seeing lots of traffic on there, however there would need to be redevelopment on the already built up side because without some kind of highway connection across, traffic will back up hard in the city...
You can tell Semaj doesn't live in the mountains... he's always smoothing out slopes to make them "realistic" when the default road slopes look less steep than the road I live on!
Mulberry District should get its own national park name, and also more pedestrian paths, as currently it's just a bunch of dead-end roads, rather inconvenient for your citizens!
You should move the reindeer to the island and create a “Santa’s Village” area of the zoo. Use a lightly colored ground texture and put a bunch of pine trees all over the place
Couple episodes ago you were asking about a hill climbing monorail irl, I’m not sure about how much hill do these climb but you should check out the Chongqing Monorail because it’s situated in a mountainous region so I doubt any other monorail climb more than them
Hopefully, you'll be putting residential zones closer to that industrial/logging area or at least have better road access from the residential areas to the industrial park. Other than that, the city is looking great.
I'm not sure about all cities but for the city I live in it's really unrealistic to have all bus stops directly across from each other maybe for you're suburban areas you could really connect them to major lines by not having the stops across from each other ! Just add extra crosswalks so people can walk across the road to the bus stop :)
It would be really cool if the rhinos could escape and attack people? You mean like... Jurassic world? More episodes of your let's play with jurassic world please!
Glad, that I could be of help with your fps. If you want to try some more settings, here some suggestions: a) use Shicho-Mod. Disable Bokeh Camera (because that eats a lot of frames). But if you enable Postprocessing SMAA - that actually gains me 6 fps. It also helps a little to use the "force stop distance trees" - but only a little. b) use Religt-Mod. This (don't know why) gives me 2 fps. On top of that you can enable "disable shadow smoothing", which gains 3-4 fps. Although, I prefer the softer shadow look. c) use Remove Decorative Sprites-Mod. Enable all three options. Gives me 4fps, and visually you don't really loose much (only when you are very close in) d) use Ultimate Eyecandy, and disable "Bloom". Gives me 8 fps, and since the bloom is in less then 1% of the time visible, a fair trade, I would say :-) Have fun experimenting - and thanks for the fun time watching you building cities :-D
More residential one the side near that bridge that has nothing after it. It’s one the opposite side of town from the zoo. Please there aren’t any workers for the industrial
It just occured to me that he has roads, with dedicated bus/taxi lanes in them. He could've used those roads so that public transit vehicles can have dedicated lanes and not clog up main traffic. Only watched/listened to the series up to this point, does anyone know if he does use that kind of road system later on or is there a reason it isn't used?
How do you raise and lower roads? I've tried everything I can think of and it won't work. Perhaps I don't have the right mod? Can you tell me what one it is please
eenhoornmax it's page up and page down! (at least for me) 😁😁😁 I wasn't selecting the nodes properly I guess and that's why I couldn't get it to work My bridges look so much better now 😊

Dom Robinson Yea and observatory that’s inside the park a top that hill still apart of the zoo park district.
Add some policies to the zoo to get more people to go to it and put in a maintenance building to boost the zoo
The area behind the mountain near the zoo would make an amazing tourism district with specialized commercial and some tourism buildings like a stadium or something. It would also be awesome to throw in a cruise ship connection!

zaharozoe wow well done noticing!! 👍🏻
I almost choked on my food laughing at 19:40 when you lowered the giraffe enclosure and the giraffes went tumbling to the ground!!!
LeahLemur I thought no one else had noticed!
I thank you sir for:
Not filling your video with 100mini ads like other utubers
Salute you too
Mountain monorail...Denver CO had plans for one in 2013...didnt see anything about the building of it...but, it is possible
My favorite part of the city is the hillside areas closer to the zoo! I love how they turned out!
Kinda feels weird without the music at the end of the video.
I love how when I watch your older Sims 4 Let's Plays it's always "HEY GUYS JAMES HERE TODAY!!" and when I switch to this it's like you're whispering and really chill. Just got aware of that and thought it was interesting. :D

Main zoo attraction, rhino butts
Great idea add a hospital next to the polluting recycling facility
Yeah exactly, get sick at work and get healthy at the hospital 😅
You could block cars from driving on the part of the road where the pillar is for the monorail and have it look like a construction site.
JAMES!! When I was a kid I was so obsessed with the zoo that we went every month for years. An annual pass well spent for my parents. Your argument is invalid 😋
The zoo item from before Park Life and the Panda Sanctuary should be somewhere in the area, too
Really enjoying the series. I am a recent subscriber and I love how you build organically and pay attention to the details. I am getting ready myself to start a new city and am following closely for tips. Keep up the videos!
James,

That is will help coverage so much without making traffic worse, and often times will improve traffic.
Oh good you got rid of that ugly wall in the sea life enclosure
You should make that slip road for emergency vehicles as well, quite common in New Zealand to have emergency service bypasses to miss traffic
Increase the budget for services and they will reach longer, so you can get those nice houses.
I definitely like that you're not filling all space. Mulberry and the zoo look GREAT.
i really hope hte main big downtown part of the city is on the other side of that bridge infront of the waterfall, would look so neat seeing lots of traffic on there, however there would need to be redevelopment on the already built up side because without some kind of highway connection across, traffic will back up hard in the city...
Make the segment from the bus stop (28:02) on the Stephanie Boulevard larger so the bus fits in it
You can tell Semaj doesn't live in the mountains... he's always smoothing out slopes to make them "realistic" when the default road slopes look less steep than the road I live on!
Maybe a nature reserve on the island? Not sure if that's feasible, but I love the idea
Mulberry District should get its own national park name, and also more pedestrian paths, as currently it's just a bunch of dead-end roads, rather inconvenient for your citizens!
You should connect the zoo monorail and the other line that justs ends (33:14) via the flat area, if you end up building there.
Master of Disguise quote! Such a fun movie.
You should move the reindeer to the island and create a “Santa’s Village” area of the zoo. Use a lightly colored ground texture and put a bunch of pine trees all over the place
19:10 Put some custom made castle or church or even make hollywood sign with the name of city
You should do a beach area in the zoo.
If you want expensive houses maybe try making the district to be one with high taxes or something like that with district policies
Couple episodes ago you were asking about a hill climbing monorail irl, I’m not sure about how much hill do these climb but you should check out the Chongqing Monorail because it’s situated in a mountainous region so I doubt any other monorail climb more than them
Absolutely love what you're doing in this series Flabs (as always). But it would be fantastic to get closure on Sedona 😁
Hopefully, you'll be putting residential zones closer to that industrial/logging area or at least have better road access from the residential areas to the industrial park. Other than that, the city is looking great.

Holy shit....the zoo by my house is only $10
Please do more tram lines, otherwise you can build verry well!!
Hey, just to let you know, part 18 isn't in the playlist.
You could change the speed limit on the backside of the zoo loop to a higher speed.
Love how we jumped from part 17 to part 19 lol
I think you should do high density stuff by the new hospital, on the other side of the hill
It would be really cool if the rhinos could escape and attack people? You mean like... Jurassic world? More episodes of your let's play with jurassic world please!
Put helicopter bases on the area between the zoo and the hill residential. They will cover your hard to reach areas.
Put custom buildings on the hill
It would be cool if one house in the new tiny housing area had that small beach as their private beach
There is only one connection to the residential area on top of the hill...
Don’t forgetting your idea of putting a walking tour through the Wallaby Zoo
Maybe you can put observatory on the top of the hill near zoo instead of houses?
Glad, that I could be of help with your fps.

if the busses are too long use the double decker ones you have
i would live in these hills these are fancy as hell
More residential one the side near that bridge that has nothing after it. It’s one the opposite side of town from the zoo. Please there aren’t any workers for the industrial
I think that whole area of the bay is going to eventually be the downtown
that master of disguise reference lmao
You should make the hill/mountain a nature reserve
I want to see a hiking trial and a wildlife reservation.
Is he ever going to do another video on Sedona?
Use high tech housing if u want high income housing
You dint have beaches and that stuff? In SimCity you have all beach stuff... Do you have it here?
Where is the outro music james? It feels so empty lol
I would move the recycling center out of the zoo because it will kill the trees next to the exhibit
How do you raise and lower roads? I've tried everything I can think of and it won't work.
Perhaps I don't have the right mod? Can you tell me what one it is please
Cyvin Tyranea Isn't it just the arrow keys?
eenhoornmax it's page up and page down! (at least for me) 😁😁😁 I wasn't selecting the nodes properly I guess and that's why I couldn't get it to work
My bridges look so much better now 😊
why dont you use roads with bus lanes?
The St. Louis Zoo in Missouri is free but the food n stuff is hella expensive.
Where is the outro 😢
Why there's no 🐅 tigers?
Aw, no wallabies for Wallaby Zoo? Sad 😞
18:28 the monorail building
Wow, zoos in the US are so much cheaper (after conversion)
Francis Garcia that's what I was thinking as well. All the zoos I've been to are free. You just have to donate which is CHEAP.
Create a massive national park somewhere on the other side of the bay.
What happened to part 18
Did I miss a part where he explains removing the sealife enclosure? I use these videos as bedtime stories so maybe I missed something? Someone HaeLp!
suddenly, all animals turn into ostriches and shove their head in the ground. lol
Taxis?
Do taxis
this game reminds me of Zetland and Alexandria
the playlist is missing episode 18 so i was like NOOOOOO HE DIDN't BUILD THE ZOO ON CAMERA WHAAAAAT but its ok.
Please do a mountain tram.
Delete the monorail track on the road and put it back
Farming industry would be nice
build a pier or something at the new neighbourhood
You should turn ground pollution off!
Love from India
When is will you record another Sedona episode? We always get about five Park Life episodes and no Sedona :(
Make your beach bigger
Hello there!
y do u always put house in the nosiest location
make the mountain salf-safishen huoses
Nooooooooo build something on the little island
I'm fine with you having ugly cliffsides but you better leave that beach at the suburb alone
28:25 Scumbag bus driver level 10 lol
Please play simairport
