That title is so wrong. This mom was literally supportive to every dress she tried on. Yes, she had a preference beforehand, but she grew into every change in style and told her daughter the right words with every dress. This mom rocks!
I mean its not wrong... it didn't say mom throws fit over brides boobs..books... just that she wanted a dress that hides the cleavage which she voices several times
@@Janae2000 They all agreed on that. Daughter and David included. The sample was too small for her chest and should have to be adapted if she would choose that one.
A mum who says "You're right and I was wrong" when she loves her daughter in the dress irrespective of whose preferred style it was, thats an amazing mum right there!
I actually liked the bride's style and the dress she chose. Ballgowns are for people that want a fairy tale wedding. She had a 1920's venue so this dress goes well with it.
Definitely not true. Some people that want ball gown just like the big puffy dresses because that's just what they like. Not just because they want the fairy tale wedding.
@@H20-t3g kind of depends how you define fairy tale wedding. But everyone should do whatever they like. If they want big Ball gown they should go for it. But most people I know that want an extravagant dress also want an extravagant wedding.
I wore a ballgown, two petticoats under it and a train longer than I am tall. It was my mom’s dress with 80s sleeves removed by my now mother in law. My husband and I paid for our wedding and it was about $6000. It just depends. I wanted a ballgown but I loved my simple wedding.
"You were right and I was wrong." 😭 Daughters needs to hear that from their moms at least once but most especially on this occasion. She's so supportive. What a beautiful bride!
The dress she chose was absolutely perfect for her and it’s the first time I’ve seen a detachable veil that I liked. Usually, they go halfway round the waist and just look like someone’s wrapped a bit of net curtain over a beautiful dress. This episode had it all, a beautiful bride with a lovely personality, a kind, supportive entourage and an under-budget dress that was gorgeous. 👏👏👏
I know this is a two year old comment but you are soooooo right about too many detachable trains and overskirt, just coming halfway around. Just makes it look tacked on and unfinished and creates a weird silhouette! Go full or go small, just don't go halfway!
I think her mom didn't mind what her daughter choose as she looked emotional each time she saw her daughter in wedding dress - I think she was just happy to see her daughter is going to get married 😊😍. Also love that the entourage was being supportive and gave good feedbacks - no cruel jab or negative vibe from them.
Boo hoo Jennifer Demers Give David a break ! He knows his business and the bride looked gorgeous. David and his assistant both well mannered and supportive. Australia
I love her casual Cinderella style with her blonde hair in a bun, a black choker, and a blue top. I was waiting for her to mention Cinderella and she did.
One of the better mothers on this show. I can only hope my mom is like this when my day comes. Comfortable enough to state her opinions, but being supportive and not degrading or stubborn.
Not sure if it’s the editing or if there’s been a little growth on this show, but I was pleasantly surprised by the picks. Of course we do ballgowns for mom first, but the progression of gowns, the non-underhanded remarks about her beauty/figure, and the end result was stunning for her and under budget! Nicely done!👏👏👏
Mom disliked me for a reason I can't get now but I sincerely appreciate the way she respected her daughter's choice and tried to find something nice in the dresses. In the other hand, I applaud this bride for keeping her priorities first, she knew what she needed to fit it perfectly and found it, the dress was lovely and the details in the neckline were stunning. My mother and sister have a big size in the same zone as this bride so, support is required with every item they use so, I feel happy to watch it is possible in a wedding dress with no complications at all. David Emmanuel should stop trying to please the crew; when he concentrated his attention on the bride, could really see what she wanted and the bride was able to choose by herself.
I think women with large breasts and a short waist tend to look heavier in a ballgown. She would look better in a drop waist or fitted dress, imo. The third dress looks very nice in her! She looks beautiful!
What a beautiful episode.no swearing.mom is soo supportive.tears on every dress.shame.you can see she is proud of her daughters with tears of genuine joy.the brides group was being honest & even disagreeing in a tasteful & mindful manner, taking into account the bride's wishes...& What a amazing dress on the beautiful bride!! who embraces Her gorgeous curves.breast & hips.. You go girl!!
Nice to see a well-nourished girl who knows her best points and loves her body and is happy to be getting married. Glad she found something she likes. She looks like royalty. I had to laugh at David suggesting a small veil. Never one to leave 200 of budget money lying on the ground! What a salesman.
@@LynAtkinson22 same here. My mom knows my style and knows I hate poofy. If she saw me in a poofy dress, she would think I'm lying or I am being required to wear it lol
I often wonder if the brides wearing this style try sitting down in it before saying yes. These types of styles fit so tight through the torso and hips I cannot but wonder how comfortable they are when sitting down.

Why in the world did David bring in that 2nd dress?? She specifically said she didn't want much sparkle, so he brings in a dress completely blinged out. Just ridiculous.
I hate when the family/friends judge the dress because of things that would be fixed. For example, the first dress really showed off her cleavage, unfitted. So her friend said "no. It's not for her". When that wouldn't even be an issue IF she had liked the dress. Look past the slight imperfections, look at the over all vision. 🤗😩😒
I'm confused why they gave her all the things that she didn't want out the gate. Didn't want ball gown, gave her ball gown. Didn't want bling, have her bling.

I really feel the mom was actually genuine this time about her feelings and not like all the others. She was so sweet about her opinion.
Bride: says she wants a mermaid
David: puts her in a ball gown
Bride: says she wants plain and simple
David: puts her in a sparkly and frilly dress
