@Melody Maybe because the style of dress that she wants can be cheap? It all depends on the bride's choice of style. If she wants a ball gown with her expensive lace, bling, and lots of details, then it will cost more. But she wants simple fishtail with not a lot of bling. I truly feel that the consultants on this show are judged too harshly. They want to give the brides' what they want.

Well, I would say, it is rather the couple´s day, not just the bride´s. I really do not like people treating the bridegroom like some necessary nuisance, instead of one partner of the two.

I dont see why they wouldn't have had the first bride try on dresses that have an overlay skirt! Like she could of had the whole 2 in 1 dress 🤷♀️ The 2nd bride omg that first dress she tried on the tops details were seriously so beyond gorgeous but that 3rd dress was perfect for her and she looked so beyond amazing 🥰💕

It’s nice that they don’t take advantage of the unlimited budget but I don’t see why they couldn’t show her a few more dresses, maybe in a range of prices…..I feel like they showed her the least amount of dresses possible.

And when a bride has a limit budget, they pull out the expensives ones.
With an unlimited budget they find a dress under £900 and another for under £2500. Clearly saying no budget makes a difference 🤷♀️

Exactly! I wouldn't have asked him. Plus, as a guy he probably is just swept away by ball gowns because they make a girl look like a fantasy. He's marrying a real woman in front of him. Unless she's wearing a dress made of toilet paper rolls, he should be quiet and overjoyed! So there!
I kind of agreed but would you offer an opinion on his tux, one time when I was with an ex we talked about if we got married what would we wear. He wanted to wear a toxic neon green colored tux, I wasn't on board with that idea and offered my thoughts.

I don’t understand all the people mentioning the overskirt. She didn’t like the ball gown why are y’all people trying to say she could’ve just done that when she clearly stated she didn’t like the ball gown? If she had an overskirt, she would still he wearing the dress she loved, that made her feel good, but wouldn't be arriving in her grooms - in her words, worst nightmare - for the ceremony. That's what's called compromise - she still wears her dress she picked that makes her feel the best, for the entire wedding day and he got the look he loved for a portion of that time. Everyone's happy, she wears the dress she loves, job done. Married life is about compromise, after all. It's not like she would be giving it up, is it?

make sure that if your budget is 1.5-3 k and you walk into this shop, you say you have an unlimited budget, and the first gown they'll put u in will be under 1k. Say you have a budget of 2k, and they'll be pulling off your dream dress for 4k off the rack and leave you between a rock and a hard place.

The first bride needs new friends, some respectful ones. A new fiancé, one who can respect her tastes too. I know, this show is beyond the drama sometimes but it was disgusting to watch. The second bride was lovely in the other hand and her second dress was gorgeous, the back was so beautiful! But she was genuinely surprised by princess gowns and she tried on in a really cute one at the end. Her face says it all.
Sorry to be the first to say it but I totally did not like the second bride's second dress. It was matronly and no bride deserves to look 20 years older than she is.

Getting married in Italy, unlimited budget...pulls most generic wedding dresses available. No A-line options to consider a middle ground option. No overlay options that would be the best of both worlds. Worst dress shop in the franchise. Period.

When the bride wants her groom to look in a specific look or complementary to the color codes then her dress is also someone else's idea of watching her walking the aisle. There is no harm in incorporating his request if you have the budget. In this case, an overskirt.

Disagree. It is a uniquely female experience, the feeling you get shopping with your mom, sister and closest friends, and that emotional feeling when you find the dress that makes you feel most beautiful. Hopefully a once in a lifetime experience. I chose my own dress, but I let my fiance plan the honeymoon.
@@esraayousef5643 I disagree as well. We’re talking about 2 wedding dresses here, the only difference is the silhouette. It’s not like she wants to wear a bikini but he wants a dress. Those are 2 completely different garments and in that case I’d understand. But in this case she’s wearing it so she should be comfortable in it. The equivalent would be him wanting to wear a black tuxedo but she wants him to wear a grey fitted suit. Both are wedding attire they’re just different styles. In that case he should wear what he’s more comfortable in. When I was getting married I planned everything. All he wanted was a pineapple flavored wedding cake and he got it

My husband of 33 years had no idea what kind of gown I would choose for our wedding, and frankly, I didn't give his opinion or anyone else's a second thought. I knew he'd love me in whatever style wedding gown I chose. My mother was the only person who accompanied me to shop for my gown, and she wouldn't have dreamed of saying some of the nasty comments I've seen people say on these shows. And if my groom had taken one look at me at the altar and said he hated what I was wearing, I might have popped him on the nose. What groom does that to his bride?
