Hi everyone. Some of you might realise this is the same animal of the week as last week. A few errors where found in that video so we decided to rewrite and fix it, so please now enjoy this more accurate video
Thought I was losing my mind for a second there 😂 great channel btw, ace content.
Great job.
Thought I had deja-vu..
"errors where found" ;)
Please do the 400,000 SUBSCRIBER video! Sorry for asking.
Imagine sticking your hand on a cake, then ingesting said cake by absorbing bits of it through your skin.
That is how phagocytosis do.
a zefrank fan i see :)
I work on a food truck that sells Philly cheesesteaks and fries
Morbid obesity, here I come
Your fingers grow to form an envelope around the cake and you start swallowing it through your palm and wrist.
This is why your cake tastes like boogers and poop.
Ha you said phago
my inside voice changed to morgan freeman as soon as I glanced at line 2
This is one of the funniest animal names, along with "bone-eating snot flower".
XD Osedax roseus
"Bony eared assfish"
"I'll take 'Most People don't know it exists and don't believe it counts as an animal' for 400 Mr. Trebek."
Ill take "What sounds like a racial slur but is animal for 300"
@@irideblind : "In recent decades, this hoof-adapted parasite has spread to causing debilitating infestations of soft-footed life in Africa."
The best kinds of living things are the ones that are perfectly adapted to survive in their environment but also look absolutely ridiculous.
Animals that disguise themselves as plants just to survive their environment are the most ridiculous cuz some mushrooms looks like a penis and a butt
Getting a look at your mother, and how excited she looks on that ship in the 80’s, you’re definitely a chip off the old block. Go give that woman a hug.
Wonderous, an excuse to watch this episode again
Carnivorous sponges are so weird that one taken in a photo in Antarctican oceans was mistaken for an alien antennae device. I love sponges.
Fun fact: made a Fakemon based off of this thing too, it’s a masterful damage sponge. BADUM-TSSSS
It's not weird when you understand that all type of animals will need protein to live even some herbivores like deers and cows
Link an image of the Fakemon! I wanna see it!
Imagine unironically getting eaten by a sponge lmao
This animal's name looks like someone mashed random words together, yet it fits perfectly
No, it describes the sponge perfectly. If it was a fish, then yes it would seem like a name made of random words.
It doesn't really sound like a bunch of random words
It describes them well cuz it looks like the balls on a ping pong and sticks like a tree as a sea animal which we need to kill them all
@@brawmankerlexterminateurde860 just cause it describes it well doesn't mean it doesn't sound like a bunch of random words
@@handthing9709 yes it is and it needs to go extinct for that
@@turgidbanana Yeah it would be funnier if it wasn't actually a sponge, but a coral or something. Like with names like peacock mantis shrimp, which is neither a peacock, mantis nor a shrimp, or the jackrabbit, which is neither a jackass or a rabbit.
imagine alternative history where humans use this kind of sponges to wash themselves
When an animal, that looks like a plant, that looks like those fake grapes your grandparents have in a bowl all year long, is the most brutal predator there is.
Prey: "Oh no, a testicle tree caught me! PFFT, what are ya gonna do, gently hit me to death?
Ping pong tree: (In demonic voice) "I will devour you at a molecular level and dissolve you into nothing over the next few days."
Isn't this the species of the supposed "antenna" found in that blurry old photo.
To quote: It's a pile of balls
4:35 “They manage to live, eat, and breed successfully without ever moving or directly touching another member of their species”
I sense jealousy among some of my own species
That's the most festive sponge I've seen all day.
Looks like those dream plants from Hollow Knight
I’ve got an IKEA lamp that looks like that.
_De ja vu_??
I'm sure I've watched this before...
Re-upload? Any way these deserve a second look.
I don't know why, but the first upload wasn't available for long. When I wanted to watch it a few hours after premiering it was gone.
So I'm thankful for the second opportunity.
@@kai_plays_khomus Footage of marine life can be in grey water when it comes to copyright or related.
@@PierceMD
This sounds very plausible, thanks!
I didn't doubt there was a legitimate reason though, I just noticed I couldn't watch it, but I could imagine a plethora of legitimate reasons to "call back" (and maybe modify if necessary) a video - for instance copyright reasons.
I never though about it before, but I can absolutly see how the copyright situation of such underwater footage could be complicated.
In my biased opinion this is the best series on this channel.
a video: **re-uploaded**
everybody: *_Deja Vu_*
I'VE JUST BEEN IN THIS PLACE BEFORE
It looks adorably intriguing
Took me the whole episode to realise it was a reupload
Best series. Period.
What an odd creature that’s strangely... cute?
Their arch nemesis is a Paddle.
Is there a reason this has been reuploaded?
I can't be the only one to notice their striking resemblance to the Eltanin Antenna.
A glimpse into the development of differentiated tissue. Way cool.
How cute. Very amusing
I learned a lot today. I have never seen this animal.
Looks like something straight out of subnautica.
YEAH CARNIVOROUS SPONGES!!
Cheekiest mom plug I seen, love it. Keep on tranglin' Ben.
It grows a new stomach around everything it wants to eat!
This is some serious Deja Vú.....
heaven's design team anime introduced me to the ping pong tree sponge
In which episode?
@@brawmankerlexterminateurde860 first episode
@@danity123vanity thanks
I remember seeing that thing on a subway once…
Maybe we can get the pyrosome as the Next animal of the week, or some type of siphonophore
This can't be a sponge. I mean, imagine trying to use this in the shower. Bizzare that there are sponges that eat meat and not just random detritus drifting by.
They look like the trees from Illumination's Lorax
I personally enjoy the 7DOS series the most, but I did enjoy this video.
That's my spirit animal
aw yeah, sponge time
Ping pong tree Sponge. That's a funny name
Looks like a white wand of wander from d&d
So many weird creatures in the oceans
And on land
@@brawmankerlexterminateurde860 true
This series is awesome.
Fascinating and unusual. Thanks...
Once it got to the bit about your mother I realized, this seems to be a reupload, since I remember you guys posting a Ping Pong Tree Sponge video and mentioning that detail in it.
Billions of dollars invested into space programs, when the aliens are already beneath our feet, in the oceans
This content is always worth a second look 🙂
Tho I think some of the video has been changed up?
Looks like something you'd find in Metroid.
Oh thank fuck it's a re-upload I thought the ol' family curse was setting in
survival of the most adaptable.
In the most ridiculous form
This episode was pretty awesome as always, and was very well made.
Also I hope y'all are having a great day.
Henceforth Sperm Packets will be my new club name!
This is such a cool creature!!! 👍
It's like déjà vu all over again
Animal so nice they did it twice
I saw this fella in the Home Depot lighting section
Yep, zefrank1 needs to know about this one
Ngl that's pretty metal
Per my understanding this thing t-bags it’s prey to death
Yes
500.000 year ago! Me want!
He looks amazing keep it up buddy your content is truly facenaiting :-)
Maybe a video about fresh Kuhli Loaches? Nice videos !
Are you sure this isn't a bone tree from Wallace II?
Your mom might have been a crew member on the ship, but now she's captain of a UA-cam channel
Expensive Midcentury Floor Lamp Sponge
This sponge belongs to an alien world
So Much déjà vu and subnatica comments

Ah, so that's what the lady on the Deepsea Metro was.

Now I want to check out your mom's channel.
I remember this from an anime. It's a big what of a sponge
Re-upload? Or a correction?
Looks like a gravity trap from subnautica
Or the thermital plants
What do you call this method of "propagation"? Like, surfing the waves?
Did Forrest Gump name this shrimping dandelion?

Everyone keeps saying that they are getting de ja vu
You mother's channel is amazing! *D
Pretty dumb question: can a juvenile deinonychus even glide
OLLIE !!!!!!!

Looks like something from Subnautica.
Benjamin, your explanationsare great and I really enjoy your presentation but how about showing your face while you talk. !
That look like some one meat up when they here’d about evolution (he gets like 16 ball sakes)🤩😳
I learned about this animal from an anime.
Heaven design team?
@@brawmankerlexterminateurde860 where else could I see such an innovative design?
like I said the best of these sponges are the ones that created the underwater alien antenna theory
