Crazy how the sponges start singing heavenly songs as soon as they start pumping the color out
They are quite musical!
Dmmit underrated comment
Well spongebob himself likes to sing
If I would inhale a dye like that I would be singing like that too
I was thinking that the music was background music music😅 wasn't it???
"Any plankton that comes in won't come out" Poor guy looking for the formula got stuck
Spongebob vore
@@tonylee1667 underrated
All those years in college😣
Mr. Krabs' true secret weapon.
Plankton: I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL
Mr Krabs: Good one SpongeBob me Boy
Are you feeling it now Mr Krabs
Threshersaurus Rex Oh yeah Mr. Krabs
no
Oh gosh
Looks like Spongebob ate his Sunday Sundae again.
I’m not ugly
Am I ugly???
@Kris Walsh Is that what he calls it?
Im ugly and im proud
*DEUUEAAAAUUGH!!!*
The sounds they produce are amazing
LOL!
I never knew they were that active with their filtering great video
“I’m a sponge, I’ll just filter feed.”
Amazing and mystical creatures.
They're also great to clean chalkboards.
Nah, chalkboard erasers made of felt work way better!
Sponges aren’t used for chalk erasers
What a waste of life that would be.
Spongebob being a filter feeder as usual
I recently blew my BF's mind when, while talking about kitchen cleaning supplies, I told him that sponges were originally made from a marine creature with that same name. I'm so glad I found this video showing what sponges do for a living
He was very poorly educated if that was news ti him.
@@NOMADdaf Really? You came to that definite conclusion, due to him not knowing a single isolated fact?
and the interesting thing is that marine sponges are still harvested for cosmetic and toiletry uses!
@@NOMADdaf He's not the dumb one here, actually, YOU are very poorly educated if, like Jack said, you're gonna instantly come to the definite conclusion that her boyfriend was 'very poorly educated' because he doesn't know that a sea animal has the same name as a synthetic material used for cleaning.
Ever heard of that one yellow guy makin some Sandwiches?
I learned this filter feeding fact from Spongebob episode 'I Had an Accident'
“Eu sou uma esponja, eu filtro o alimento!”
They look so mystical when the dye is coming out
Spongebob after eating the night snack:
Watching this in 2020 and am very impressed! Maybe sponges are a solution to get microplastics out of the ocean?
That was way beyond cool! Thank you for demonstrating such an incredible thing!
I noticed (about halfway through) that after you had released the dye, the sponges were pumping it out through their osculum. But not all were. To the left, there's a large tube sponge with no dye coming out. So my questions are 1) Are the cluster of tubes a single organism or a number that have attached at the same place? 2) Are the non-pumping tubes 'resting' or are they dead but still attached? 3) If they're dead individual sponges (that didn't bud off), will their exoskeleton break down over time or will something like a sea turtle eat it?
You mean the long sponge on the bottom left at 0:49? If so, that sponge really looks like it's dead and hasn't fallen off the rock.
Can we use sea sponges to filter some particles and bacteria from the water?
Like use live sponges as water filters.
Theoretically. But there has to be enough nutrition to keep them alive.
Probably going to die from all the toxic in sewer water, it possible though
Perhaps if some sponges were brought in temporarily to cleanse bacteria from bodies of water where the latter doesn’t belong, be it a source for human consumption or one where an invasive bacteria has taken hold?
Wait for it and then we see the flouroscent green spewing out !!
i got here by searching THICC starfish
don't ask
@MK-ULTRAVIOLENCE why did you have to comment on this now i have no clue why i searched up THICC starfish

Thank you for this video! What a precious opportunity to learn more about the sponges. Keep the great work!
That's SO beautiful!!!
It almost doesn’t look real. This is mesmerising.
Beautiful!
It's incredible how fast they work
Friend: sponges aren't animals.
Me:*cringes*
They’re animals, they’re plants, they’re kitchen utensils, and they’re iconic cartoon characters!
@@spongebobmiscellaneous most kitchen sponges are made of plastic
@@jacobb5484 Interesting. Others are made of cellulose.
THAT'S WHAT MY SISTER SAID!!!!
they're so cool !! esp with the "heavenly" background music.
Zimmy here. Sorry it took so long to reply. Glad you liked my music score for this episode. It was fun to do! Keep watching Blue World!!
@@ZimMusic100 what is this song's name?
@@phoivos There are no song names as the music is all custom composed like a film score.
That is awesome!
Those are amazing streams of color
Amazing!
What a Awesome quite music 🎶🎵 love to hear ♥️♥️♥️
I think I just recall something vague during Biology class that it's organ that acted as something who absorbs nutrients (akin to a mouth) is somewhere below its main body & not in its upper cavity.
Amazing video.
Amazing 🙌
Looking amazing 👌👌👌
fascinating!
i was doing a powerpoint about sponges and I add this video into it!!!
excellent man....
Hooray for learning!!!
this is so cool!!!!
Amazing. 😍
Call me crazy but I think sea sponges are pretty 😍 and so cool! I'm glad Stephen Hillenburg chose this animal for his cartoon, wouldn't have known about sponges if that wasn't the case. I am little surprised that Plankton doesn't have a fear of SpongeBob like his of Pearl as they both eat his species In real life, Spongebob also kinda does the same thing here with water in the show symbolic of both of his design.
Wow great video 👍
0:27 THIS IS A RARE FOOTAGE OF SPONGEBOB GETTING sexually ASSAULTED by a SCUBA DIVER
NOOOOOOOOO! 😱
@@spongebobmiscellaneous 😱
Kia Ora, I was wondering if I would be able to use this video in a school presentation that I am doing, it would be an amazing source of visualisation for kids to see that Sponges are actual animals.
Of course
sponges have flagella. so they beat flagella constantly to make water current. so small micro organisms in water will be pushed into it.
SpongeBob has left the chat
I actually like the color of the dye when squeezed out
Spongebob! Don’t let Gary catch you again!
Hahaha
Awesome 😍
Awesome😍😍😍
SpongeBob is genius!
