Thanks Frank, thinking about christening the Fire Phoenix next time..had it about a month and have hardly had a look at it. Should be a good kayak option
Good job gays🎣🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟Great fishing😍👍🏻extraordinary, very good and cool video, very beautiful place, cool, I enjoyed this video, very charming, happy work, always successful and healthy for you, Amen, thank you, my dear friend, for sharing a cool, interesting and useful video, I hope you always have a happy day💝
Thanks, yea loving the kayak, so much better than a traditional one because I can move around innit etc. I'm going to take my son on it next week, hopefully its not too squishy.
Just got a Soloking Acura for some saltwater bfs to target indopacific tarpon and small trevallies Just wondering how I would maintain the reel and will it hold up. I won’t be dunking it or anything like that.
It should be fine, the bearings that usually.get the most corrosion over time are the in handle knobs and they are easily replaceable. I would just make sure you wipe the reel with a damp cloth after use
Awesome vid Jacob 💯 great to see the lures working and getting some interest, love your work mate. Solid fish to finish to 🎣🎣🎣🎣 pS: yeah my GoPro is getting old and can get stubborn at times 🤷🏻
Haha yea. I have since added 1.3m of chain but it's a sand anchor which is like a V shape that pivots. That's attached to a scuba diving line I got from Ali express. Working good so far and I think the chain will make it perfect.
Nice little session! I was surprised to learn that you can keep snapper as small as 28cm! Over here the minimum is 35cm. Have you tried trolling for snapper? I caught some good ones last winter trolling 100mm Rapala divers very slowly
Yea 28 snapper and 27 flathead, kind of small of you ask me. 35 is definitely better table size. When I have more time I'll have to throw the electric on and have a troll around, just that lately I've been too rushed to throw it on.
@@yep.fishing wow! What kind of flesh do you get out of a 27cm flatty? 🤯 poor thing you kill it for nothing pretty much. Minimum flatties are 40cm here but back when I chased them I rarely kept any below 45 because they just didn’t have enough flesh to make it worthwhile killing it…I’m really shocked by the min flatty size now more than the snapper 😳
For those wondering - who was that space cadet in the yellow Hobie. Well folks that was none other than 1982 South West Victorian BMX Champion and 1980 Warrnambool Swimming Pool Bombathon Champion "Skip O'Neil" 😉
Very nice video mate. Good fun on the UL gear

@yep.ultralight I've heard good reports about the fire phoenix, should be great fun on those pinkies
I thought it was the best rod at that super low price then the Ryobi delicacy came out and that was under $30
Awesome work, great set up with the yak!!
Thanks, I got one of those camera booms I can attach to the rod holder, I'm looking forward to using that. 2 cams will make the videos even better.

Gays? I think you mean guys?
Thanks for watching, appreciate it
Looks like you’ve found some good fishing close to home.
Yes very pleasant surprise, I tried land based a bunch of times and no luck, the kayak has definitely opened up new opportunities.
Nice job out on the kayak with a few nice Snapper. Looked like a gorgeous day to be out, well done!
Yea the kayak opens up alot of possibilities. Would love to try the bay in Eden one day.
As always loved the video.👍
Thanks Patrick, appreciate it mate
Nice one Dad
Big up
Thank you can’t wait
Maybe this weekend if I get time of not next week
Nice video Jacob. Like the look of your kayak. Those Pinkies look great. My GoPro locks up for no reason at times

May you do a video on the kayak as I'm interested to buy one please. Great video mate.
Yea I was planning on doing one. Maybe I will film one tomorrow
In the beginning of the video that guy just caught a literal DONKEY!, what are you using for your anchor?

Yea it's very low, I guess people just rely on bagging out to make it worth it.
Nice video mate! I am considering getting one of those yaks. It looks pretty good hey. Do you recommed do it? Subscribed to your channel bro. Legend
Yea I've got no problems with it. I've been meaning to do a dedicated video on it. A few people have asked about it.
@@yep.fishing legend! Thanks. Great vid
I have time off this school Holidays so I'll try and do a video then. Definitely a few videos I have to prioritise though
