Awesome vid mate. That double hook up one the one plastic was hectic lol. A few fish there for just the hour, great sesh. The new kayak worked a treat too👌🏻🎣🎣
We also have those sea bream, that's the fish that pro anglers target most here. We just called them bream (brim) and we don't have your freshwater bream (breem). This fish is kinda similar but it gets to ridiculous sizes
It's really good but I only paid I think 650 for it, the local manager wanted to clear them. I've ran a trolling motor and battery setup on it too and it's absolutely no problem (60lb one). It's better without the seat when you use the motor. Any questions let me know
Really Great stuff - I have trolled hardbodies around that location at this time of year in a hobie and caught couta. Now there is another option to consider - Soft plastics. I was also questioning S factor, but it actually does work. I'm sold.
Yea I prefer S factor only because it's consistency is better in the hot and cold whereas gulp is either hard or runny. Both of these are scientifically proved "attractants" whereas other could just be regarded as "scents".
Yea I love it, I can't fault it. Obviously the blowing up and deflating isn't the most fun when you just want to get out on the water but it's very stable and well constructed.
Hey this is a great kayak, I actually got it for $650 cuz the manager wanted them cleared. After getting the purelure and this longer rod I'm loving it for the open water. Only time I'll use spin is probably eging or some shore fishing where I really need the longer cast with something a bit heavier. With this rod and reel I'm able to confidently rip long casts with no fear but sometimes a 9ft spin setup is a better option
Have you ever tried paddling in the wind if so how does it go, cause I’ve had experiences where I was stuck on an inflatable down wind until it stopped.
Yea definitely have, paddled to a spot against the wind and then it tirned and I had to paddle back into it. I would say it's less streamlined and has more surface area/resistance so I think it is a little handle to paddle into the wind.
I think it will be fine. Is that the smallest outboard? I have heard that it can hold one by a guy in QLD that has one. I got a 60lb thrust on mine but I'm not sure the weight difference
Depends on their size and probably more importantly your size, it's a 200kg limit. Also would depend on the conditions. I would be conservative at first and see how you go. It will fit them but obviously but it will be a bit cramped.
I was actually going to try and do a video specifically on this kayak on Sunday but the weather is really bad on Sunday. I definitely love mine, it's a big kayak so good for open water and especially if you want to run a trolling motor. I usually use it without the seat and paddle out on my knees then typically sit on the side when running the motor. I often anchor up too with the Anchor setup from the front. I would say it's good if it suits your main purpose, very stable too.
Are you saying you want to use the paddle board that's tied up for fishing? If so then no, it's for the coast guard. Is tied next to the coast guard boat. Also that area doesn't have life savers or anything if that's what you meant.
Oh, yea it actually could be pulled out as far as I know, I've never pulled it all the way out before so not sure what it would be like as a SUP, not have I ever owned a SUP
An inflatable kayak def fills a couple niches other boats can’t
Yea probably takes about the same time to launch, or even quicker if you have to line up at the ramp.
Saved the best for last. Nice session in that bay, plenty of action and what a nice looking Kayak. Great job and Happy New Year!
Thanks mate, hope to go back soon and do a review of sorts on the kayak. Happy New Year to you too buddy
Awesome vid mate. That double hook up one the one plastic was hectic lol. A few fish there for just the hour, great sesh. The new kayak worked a treat too👌🏻🎣🎣
Thanks, can't wait to get back out there again. Just a 15 minute drive but there are a tonne of tourists there now naturally
The kayak looks awesome bro! That first fish you've caught looks like our sea bream, but slightly different.
We also have those sea bream, that's the fish that pro anglers target most here. We just called them bream (brim) and we don't have your freshwater bream (breem). This fish is kinda similar but it gets to ridiculous sizes
I'll do a video on that kayak soon, I'll chuck the electric on it. Can stand on it too :)
@yep.ultralight nice, that kayak looks huge, you can take quite a bit of stuff with you there too!
Yea it's 3.3m long. Thinking of taking my kid with me. It can carry 200kg
@yep.ultralight that's awesome mate, hopefully he enjoys!
A big boat can be a pain, I’m thinking about getting a kayak on the side
Yea it's very versatile, even if you wanted to drive to a spot where you couldn't tow a trailer you could just bring an inflatable kayak.
This is sick bro , i really wanted to see how these kayaks go , what are your thoughts on them ??
It's really good but I only paid I think 650 for it, the local manager wanted to clear them. I've ran a trolling motor and battery setup on it too and it's absolutely no problem (60lb one). It's better without the seat when you use the motor. Any questions let me know
You should do a video on that kayak, looks pretty cool
Yea good idea, maybe that will be the next video I film. I've used it 4 times so have a pretty good handle on it
This looks like fun! I should try this on my SUP board.
Yea it's very fun, only problem is right now my small town has a lot of tourists down there so you have to get there early (summer holidays).
@@yep.fishing tourists can be annoying, but isn't the winter in there nice enough to go fishing?
It's ok all year around, Feb, March and April will be good. I am on the southern coast so not as pleasant in winter.
@@yep.fishing for me Australia is 24/7 summer
We have snow here too man :) not just beaches and desert. It's like the USA, has everything

Sweet yak! Solid day of fishing & great video. Looking forward to seeing more. NEW SUBSCRIBER! 👏 🎣
Thanks for the sub! Appreciate it. Hopefully this weekend I will hit up that spot and do a more organised video.
@@yep.fishing I’ll keep an eye out for the next one. I hope you slay em’ 💪🏻
Thanks, me too
Cool vid man! I’ve been thinking about buying one of those kayaks for fly fishing out of, do you like it so far?
Yea I love it, I can't fault it. Obviously the blowing up and deflating isn't the most fun when you just want to get out on the water but it's very stable and well constructed.
8:56 bit of water in there. Make sure you have a bail bucket
Yea there was a couple of litres in there that ai drained out in the end. I'm pretty sure it was just a wave when I was launching.
Nice one! After my recent trip I’ll be looking at inflatable kayaks…this one was one I had in mind 👌🏼
Don’t you prefer spin gear for open water?
Hey this is a great kayak, I actually got it for $650 cuz the manager wanted them cleared. After getting the purelure and this longer rod I'm loving it for the open water. Only time I'll use spin is probably eging or some shore fishing where I really need the longer cast with something a bit heavier. Hey
Do you reckon I could put a little Mercury 2.5 2 stroke on this or will it be to heavy
I think it will be fine. Is that the smallest outboard? I have heard that it can hold one by a guy in QLD that has one. I got a 60lb thrust on mine but I'm not sure the weight difference
How does the inflatable rate? Very interested
I rate it, still going strong sturdy and spacious
How would one go fitting aan adult, one 6 yr old and a 10 yr old in it??
Depends on their size and probably more importantly your size, it's a 200kg limit. Also would depend on the conditions. I would be conservative at first and see how you go. It will fit them but obviously but it will be a bit cramped.
Hey mate long time no comment. I want to get one of these kayaks. Are they any good?

Does the paddle board come out if my kids wanta to use it as a SUP?

@@yep.fishing no I was referring to whether the centre of the fishing kayak can detach and be used as a SUP
Oh, yea it actually could be pulled out as far as I know, I've never pulled it all the way out before so not sure what it would be like as a SUP, not have I ever owned a SUP
Cheeeeeeeeeyea!!! First!
Flathead was on the pinky???
Boom!
@@BFSFISHINGCHANNELlooked like 2 flathead? The bigger one was for sure
I am certain it was 2 flatheads, bigger one was maybe 25cm and smaller one half that. Would of been nice to land for a photo
