Also, I'm starting to think that Melina, Ranni, Marika, and Miquella are all in cahoots with each other. "What about Malenia?" As long as she's with her brother, Malenia doesn't give two shits what happens.
Personally I see Elden Ring as taking place after the Dark Souls games. If you recall from DS3 corpses seem to be turning into trees. I believe that is the beginning of the lore involving trees in Elden Ring.
I just seen a interesting video on Torrent and that he could've been owned by Miquella. Basically Miquella was the craftsman who created Torrents whistle. What really convinced me of this was the three sprit wolfs you get with the whistle which was also owned my Torrents master. There is a statue of a young Miquella with three wolfs at Miquella’s Haligtree. It was very convincing when I seen the statue of the wolfs with the child statue of Miquella.
me and patches haven't bothered each other all that much, but then again I knew before hand what I was getting into so I just don't mess with him.

About the mushroom theory: there's no real evidence supporting the idea of the Greater Will being an outside parasite, this theory was popular right after release, but:
-The Elden Ring is the source of all life and was sent in the Lands Between by the Greater Will: the GW gave birth to life
The Edtree taking over other trees or eras is not to be mistaken for parasiting: the GW decides what kind of order takes over the next era and at a certain point the Erdtree became that.
Placidusax, one of the first beings EVER, served the Greater Will and the Elden Ring, supporting the idea that it created life and order and did not just come from outside to harness it.
It seems the main goal of the GW is to maintain control over the eras, its only enemy being the flame of frenzy, since it'd delete all of life and convert everything back to the Great One, the other endings not really changing this, other than maybe Ranni's
Is it confirmed that the god Placidusax served was the greater will? I thought his remembrance description states he was waiting for the return of his God or consort, but it's been a while since I played through Farum Azula.
@@blackhat4206 the god the remembrance mentions is something similar to Marika in power: the chosen god of the era, chosen by the greater wjll. In Farum Azula you can find depictions of the elden ring and Placi spews rays of gold, identical to those of the elden beast
@@ungratefulingrate1268 Yeah, it does seem most likely. I was trying to remember because I recall an item’s description somewhere that talked about how the Erdtree, or the Golden Order, used force to make itself the dominant power. I can’t remember what it was, but it was implying that there was already life and order before the Greater Will sent it’s emissary to “guide” or “rule” over the already existing life of the Crucible. I don’t remember it being stated anywhere that the greater will originally created life, but I acknowledge Placidusax definitely served the Elden Ring, and thus most likely served the Greater Will.

@Ungrateful Ingrate That goes along with Hyetta's dialogue, too, if I'm not misremembering. I believe she states that the 3 fingers consider the greater will separating life to be a mistake, so we need to reduce it all to "one" again with the flame of frenzy. So many things being open to interpretation, while still strongly foreshadowing the reveals, is one of my favorite parts of these games. I can't wait to see what we'll learn from the DLC.

The soldiers eating each other in the capital, well hear me out what about the Jars they can't be the only species that devour others to gain strength I mean what really are runes they could be the remains of the one we kill and we eat them to get stronger so why not the same for the soldiers eat your brothers and become stronger and not die how they did just a guess though

Comparing Ranni and melena (probably spelled that wrong.) In a different context when saying they look similar. Ranni destroyed her body. We find her body in game. She took on the form of the doll which was crafted to look like her mentor (or something similar to this) so, could Rannis mentor have been the gloom eyed queen? Or at least melena

If anything calling the horse torrent only helps people pirate more. Which in turn leads to pirates wanting to buy the game. Because it's a single player game with good PVP in it. Even if pirates don't buy the game they'll still say the game is good and that means a better reputation for the game. Which in the end leads to more people buying the game.
Pirates are going to want to try before buying after so many games have made empty promises and been so lacking. The devs aren't going to do anything too drastic against pirates, because it would only harm their reputation in the long run. Worrying about greed and self image is the death of many companies. Forumsoft hasn't made that mistake. Not yet at least. It's part of the reason it keeps its reputation. Same goes for Capcom. Meanwhile EA got so paranoid about such things and you saw how that ended. Ubisoft games I wouldn't even play for free. Same old "Here's a quest marker. Fetch without any real challenge". In other words if your game isn't even worth pirating then you got bigger problems.
I'd say Elden Ring is worth both pirating and buying. But not all of us can sneeze out money and get DLC one at a time. I'm waiting for a bundle when more DLC comes out myself. The problem is I don't know how many DLC the devs will be bringing out. I brought the whole ARK bundle (all the DLC) because it was all together. Elden Ring won't release nearly that many DLCs of course, but I suspect three. Seems to be their pattern. Dark Souls 3 also had more focus on PVP somewhat (spear of the church is a good example) so it depends on factors like that as well.
What I'm basically saying is that when a game incentivises pirates instead of whining about them it becomes a win win situation. Dark Souls 3 is a perfect example of how to combine PVE and PVP. Which is why I'm a bit confused about why the arena fights weren't in Elden Ring on release. Balance issues maybe?
Omg would you all stop. The Erdtree is Golden. It is wrapped around the great tree which is a ….. tree (a wooden tree). This can be seen in game. It’s also proved by the fact that we know exactly what I “minor” Erdtree looks like and it IS TRANSLUCENT GOLD. I CAN SLASH PROVE with in game items that Melania’s in flight bloom was her third and not her second with over liked in game items and pictures.
Most of these secrets are completely pointless and worthless though
well number 2 has nothing to do with elden ring. It has to do with a player that likes elden ring, which there were millions of others that anticipated it. Why not change the name of the video to "a bunch of elden ring stories i looked up on reddit" 🤡🤡
