@@nichtsoeren4384 So when you kill Greyoll, all her baby-dragons die too, and that's where a majority of the runes actually come from (also why the game calculates the rune pop-ups in large chunks instead of a single number). My guess is that you could interrupt the death of some, or even Greyoll herself, by resting at a grace during the death animation, but you aren't generating more runes in that case, just making more work for yourself because you now have to kill her again to collect the remaining half of the runes you missed out on
Have both of them spawn inside the arena, like how Eileen can spawn during the Amelia fight in Bloodborne (if you skip Amelia and go to the Forbidden Woods)
5:02 there is a glitch associated with greyoll, if you land the final hit and horse back to the grace quickly and rest, you get around 60% of the souls but greyoll doesn’t die, allowing you to repeat infinitely for as many early game runes as you want
Not sure if it's considered a glitch, you don't get the full amount of souls or the item from her full (permanent) death animation. Great farming spot for early game though, even if slightly boring and tedious.
@@hannahshark8080 the reason u get less is because the dragons linked to her don't die if u hit the bonfire fast enough guess them dieing is the final trigger for the five hearts because they don't all drop from her

There is also a glitch to get into Leyndell that doesn’t involve wrong warping. From The Divine Bridge sight of grace, you need to step off the ledge of the elevator while simultaneously drinking a physics with Ruptured Tear in it. And in the last few frames before the explosion you need to perform an attack with any weapon. If done correctly, it will cancel the fall damage, allowing you to ride the elevator back up and get access to the entirety of Leyndell right then. Still works in the 1.10 patch!
You are absolutely correct, and this was originally in the script, but its insanely difficult. I went with Wrong Warping instead so the average person has a better chance of pulling it off. Not to say you shouldn't try the Ruptured Tear method, just be prepared for potentially hundreds-thousands of attempts.

By the way, Greyoll is supposed to be defeated by fighting the small dragons around her, when she is killed using bleed, the small dragons all also die, thus granting more runes than Greyoll herself drops.
But then you can't farm her. As long as you're on your horse right before she dies you can sprint to the nearest site of grace and you'll get the runes, and she'll respawn, and you can repeat it as many times as you like. I mean if ya want you could kill the other dragons around her as well but you'd be wasting a lot of time when you can just keep farming Greyoll.

small tip, instead of pausing the game to be able to run from standstill, you can jump, then hold dodge and when you start moving with the stick you’ll be sprinting
I remember doing a glitch on Malenia that insta killed her second phase. I was using two beastmen cleavers and stunned her while she was low in her first phase and a friend of mine used black flame at the same time. When she went into second phase after this, she didn't even do her scarlet rot attack she usually starts the phase with, she was on a pixel of health stunned on the ground and then died before we could even reach her.
Chainsaw Glitch is still possible, only downside is that it's way harder and frame perfect, besides that you can still chainsaw people and perform the "gravity glitch" / offhand swap / moveswap using the backstep chainsaw tech making it still possible only that its frame perfect.
Hi opossum, love your work! Those glitches require the use of a mouse/keyboard to execute fast enough, and my audience mostly plays on console. You're absolutely correct though! (Everybody go sub to this guy btw)
@@PhobiaSofthey just wanted to chime in, the glitch is possible on controller, I did a run using the glitch on PS5 using the dualshock. It's really tricky cuz its such a short window, but your character weight affects the timing. I could only do it with my character with heavy load. Possible, but not practical.

When playing with the Seamless Co-op mod, I noticed something interesting when playing around with a glitch unique to the mod. There's an AI freeze that can be performed against any boss with a fog wall really easily in the mod and we noticed that, just like at 30:27, bosses will always do phase transition attacks even when they're otherwise frozen. Not sure whether there are any bosses with phase transitions that can be frozen in the vanilla game other than Malenia but I thought it was interesting.
@@TechStudioLive We did it by having one player sit at a Grace exactly the same time another entered a boss fog. Obviously the inability to rest in multiplayer is the reason is only works with the nod.
I also accidentally found this glitch when I joined my friend that was mid-fight with Malenia. I joined and he died a few seconds after and Malenia didnt even agro me, she was frozen. which made it an interesting fight and very anti-climactic fight. This glitch was performed on patch 1.10
I love the Bolt of Gransax, I think its my favorite weapon, so thanks for showing me how to Wrong Warp easily into the capital! It's essentially just this right? 1. Make new character 2. Get horse 3. Unlock Round-Table Hold 4. Ride all the way down to Tower of Return at the almost most bottom of the map and teleport into the capital 5. Wrong Warp and run to the weapon

To skip like 70% of the game, go to the 4 Belfries, take the one to Farum Azula, wrong-warp so you get to the default location, activate a grace, get a weapon and get good because its gonna be hard. Beat the godskin duo. Beat Maliketh, and you are in Lyndel ashes. Go fight the MrBeast with the axe, slap radabeast in the nuts and ggs u finished the game in like 40 mins if you are good. Works on current patch. Did this recently to get to Farum early and decided to go full f-it mode and "speedrun" the game. In ng+ it's pretty easy if you have +10 or +25 weapons.
Was gonna suggest the Farum Azula warp skip but you beat me to it. This is way better than having to mess about with the earlier warp skips mentioned in the video.
Just imagine being a massive enemie in this game. You are expecting the player to show by so that you can show him who is boss. When the player gets nearby and starts falling, you suddenly notice that your floor has been stolen...
I might be remembering this wrong.. I could have sworn.There is a way to jump off the cliff near Maliketh and Godfrey killing the elden beast by unloading the level. I think that was a zip patch but still I have a feeling there is still a spot somewhere in these sections to do an unload skip

One of the most underrated channels on UA-cam. Excellent vids, my mans. Btw, you can also do the instant run thing by jumping in place (instead of opening the menu) and holding the sprint button while midair, then continuing to hold after landing. I use this quite frequently myself.

I'm happy the ghost loretta freezing glitch still works, means I can do a full playthrough of magic bow only. Just gotta work on the leyndell wrong warp and I've got a lot more starting weapon playthrough options.
I miss being able to jump into Mohgs arena from the little tombstones and cheese him super early for like 500k runes after varres quest. Now all we have is greyoll for 90k :(
You can use the Unload Glitch to kill Mohg just like I did with Commander Niall, even on a brand new character! But yes, the tombstones were a lot easier

The Ornamental Straight Sword and Reduvia are both fun and great to use why do people just think they suck? Also Kennith Height is cool, free weapon, tells newer players where to go for a good weapon art, also lore-wise is willing to help Limgrave and gives up his position to Godfrey/Hoarah Loux’s daughter.
Also if you are struggling with the leyndell wrong warp, you can just get invaded at the grace he uses to wrong warp from and they will almost always spawn at the bottom and bring the elevator up
For Loretta at the Haligtree, you can skip past her with zips, but I haven't found a completely consistent way to do it. That's what I did on my RL 1 no upgrades run. You can zip into the arena from on top of the elevator, then using a tree root on the far side of the boss arena you can use that to gain enough height with a zip to land on the fence on that side of the arena. Then you just have to run and jump and you have made it past that fight completely. She doesn't spawn unless you actually walk through the fog gate, so you cannot glitch her that way.
This was great, although I'm kind of disappointed you didn't do the Ordina Liturgical Town puzzle skip (the one where you can use Torrent to jump around the barrier blocking the teleporter to the Haligtree, it still worked in this version you were playing on). P.S. 35:48 What'd you expect, Radagon has 0 fire damage negation after all.
I tried it for quite a while and never got it, so either its been patched on 1.08.1 or its too precise to do reliably with a controller. Either way, that means it gets cut.

I still haven't played 3 hours of this game. I bought it on day 1 for my ps5 and actually forgot about it and have been playing breath of the wild in master mode, and this upload reminded me that I'm dumb and have an open world RPG to play already. Can't believe they'll spend man-hours to stop a speedrunner from standing on a ledge - something that actually makes the game look MORE enticing since it's _that detailed_ - instead of spending it on stopping the _constant_ crashes which makes the game a worse buy.
Dont know if you know but the newest elden ring patch (1.09) has a glitch where you can infinity stack the jelly fish shield buff, if you change the hand that has it equipped.
Wow, good eye! It was NG+ I use multiple playthroughs to get footage for my videos because I generally need to test consistency and execution methods for glitches multiple times to make sure I know what I'm talking about. I think this video used footage from three different characters (just forgot to take the gloves and boots back off at some point :P)
Big tip for PS5 players is if you have a physical disk just eject the disk when you are supposed to close the app and then you have a bigger window to close the game without having to navigate the home menu. It’s worked for me as long as the wrong warps have been working just be patient.

3:29 Kenneth Haight gives a golden seed when you kill him (gotta pick it up off his corpse) and his death doesnt effect any other quest in the game (Nepheli will still show up in Stormveil after Morgott). The alternative to not killing him is a shitty dagger that scales with Faith and a vague promise to be knighted at some point in the future (need I remind you you are becoming the *Elden Lord* ). _Especially_ considering his alliance with the Demi-Humans doesn't even seem to extend to _me_ despite me being the one who retook his fort, I would say the odds are stacked against his survival in all my play throughs.
Not really a glitch but you can cheese the haligtree Loretta by using assassin's gambit, unseen form and kukris, casting poison mist behind her and defeating her.

Zips still work, but they're exclusive to the PC version because they require the game to run at 60fps or greater. Console runs at (up to) 59.94fps

They actually found godfreys 2nd phase default position at the bottom of the abyss before his boss fog but there wasn't a way to damage him there

I miss being able to jump into Mohgs arena from the little tombstones and cheese him super early for like 500k runes after varres quest. Now all we have is greyoll for 90k :(
You can use the Unload Glitch to kill Mohg just like I did with Commander Niall, even on a brand new character! But yes, the tombstones were a lot easier

Also if you are struggling with the leyndell wrong warp, you can just get invaded at the grace he uses to wrong warp from and they will almost always spawn at the bottom and bring the elevator up

For Loretta at the Haligtree, you can skip past her with zips, but I haven't found a completely consistent way to do it. That's what I did on my RL 1 no upgrades run. You can zip into the arena from on top of the elevator, then using a tree root on the far side of the boss arena you can use that to gain enough height with a zip to land on the fence on that side of the arena. Then you just have to run and jump and you have made it past that fight completely. She doesn't spawn unless you actually walk through the fog gate, so you cannot glitch her that way.
This was great, although I'm kind of disappointed you didn't do the Ordina Liturgical Town puzzle skip (the one where you can use Torrent to jump around the barrier blocking the teleporter to the Haligtree, it still worked in this version you were playing on).
P.S. 35:48 What'd you expect, Radagon has 0 fire damage negation after all.
I tried it for quite a while and never got it, so either its been patched on 1.08.1 or its too precise to do reliably with a controller. Either way, that means it gets cut.
@@PhobiaSoft Okay, I know Thingfishy did it in their most recent run around the 23 minute mark which was done on the 1.08.1 patch so I guess it was too precise for you to do with a controller.

I bought it on day 1 for my ps5 and actually forgot about it and have been playing breath of the wild in master mode, and this upload reminded me that I'm dumb and have an open world RPG to play already. Can't believe they'll spend man-hours to stop a speedrunner from standing on a ledge - something that actually makes the game look MORE enticing since it's _that detailed_ - instead of spending it on stopping the _constant_ crashes which makes the game a worse buy.

Dont know if you know but the newest elden ring patch (1.09) has a glitch where you can infinity stack the jelly fish shield buff, if you change the hand that has it equipped.

Wow, good eye! It was NG+ I use multiple playthroughs to get footage for my videos because I generally need to test consistency and execution methods for glitches multiple times to make sure I know what I'm talking about. I think this video used footage from three different characters (just forgot to take the gloves and boots back off at some point :P)

Big tip for PS5 players is if you have a physical disk just eject the disk when you are supposed to close the app and then you have a bigger window to close the game without having to navigate the home menu. It’s worked for me as long as the wrong warps have been working just be patient.

Elden Ring really is Dark Souls II-2.
3:29 Kenneth Haight gives a golden seed when you kill him (gotta pick it up off his corpse) and his death doesnt effect any other quest in the game (Nepheli will still show up in Stormveil after Morgott). The alternative to not killing him is a shitty dagger that scales with Faith and a vague promise to be knighted at some point in the future (need I remind you you are becoming the *Elden Lord* ).
_Especially_ considering his alliance with the Demi-Humans doesn't even seem to extend to _me_ despite me being the one who retook his fort, I would say the odds are stacked against his survival in all my play throughs.
I know, I went back and got it off camera, just didn't want to ruin the joke lol
Not really a glitch but you can cheese the haligtree Loretta by using assassin's gambit, unseen form and kukris, casting poison mist behind her and defeating her.

If you die after beeing abducted you get revived before volcano manor as well
