It is genuinely insane how many of their songs are over the 4.0 mark. Imagine releasing 87 songs that are so good that thousands of people have rated it at 4 or higher.

How does it follow that the songs are good?
Or maybe people are just sh!teaters in general?

Yes, #9 is by far their worst 'song'!
Why?? "Hold Me Tight" is simply awful and should never have made it onto vinyl. What a clunker! Even McCartney says he doesn't like it.

Yes, it should be much lower!
Its a song that many people like but dont like too.

So many of the songs in positions 50 to 100 would be a crowning achievement for most other bands.
great song but compared to the others still too high
Long and Winding Road at 92...
@ricardo_miguel13 no. No it isn't.
Terrible song low key
the beatles has so many good songs it's honestly kinda unbelievable that a band has so many good songs in the span of like 7-8 years
why the hell is blue jay way so low
73 of the Beatles 217 total songs made the Billboard top 100.
That's because they had Lennon and McCartney in the band two prolific songwriter's
It's been said that many more Beatles songs would have made it to #1 if it weren't for their own songs being in the way at the same time.
Three George songs in the top 10 and that is absolutely deserved.
Unbelievable
My personal favorite Beatle
The ratio of the number of George songs to the number of really good George songs is way up there! Several of my favorite Beatles tunes are George tunes. That's saying something.
George Harrison is the greatest musician of all time.
@@bobpourri9647That's saying "something" 😏
When a song like "Little Child" hits #216 on a band's list of songs, it says a lot about their talent.

Beatles For Sale is actually such a vibe. Works extremely well as an album in my opinion.
Yeah. I know it doesn't hold up as well as all the other albums, but it's not like it's THAT bad of an album.
I’ll take Beatles for Sale over half the songs on the White album any day.
@@carterd5364 The thing about the Beatles is that one of the albums HAS to be the worst, or at most, least good
@@carterd5364 I listened to the full album once to figure out where all the hate was at. 7 of the songs are definitely songs I’d get down to, of the 7, 4 are songs I’d consider a 10/10 (my standards are very low though) I fell those 7 are looked down upon simply because they are on the Beatles for Sale album as a whole. I’m a Loser feels straight out of the Help! album, I’ll Follow the Sun is simply great (and my most listened to Beatles song,) Baby’s in Black has amazing harmonies, No Reply too with amazing harmonies and that “realise” and “eyes” where the vocals went everywhere is a surreal sound. IMO it’s over thrashed, not a D or F tier album, but still I think it deserves the hate for 7 filler songs, although the 7 other songs definitely should not be so hated.
Imagine here there and everywhere being your 40th best song 😮

One of the greatest tragedies of all time is that John and George are no longer with us,they left a hole that can’t be filled,I was hoping someday they they would have reconciled and gave us magic again but not to be,love you Beatles!
Oh, if they were all still with us we’d definitely have a reunion tour by now. Gosh, what could’ve been. But blessed to have this group of men who defined a generation of music and many people will be listening to them for many more years to come. Love me the Beatles
The Beatles had done enough. They grew up together, for Chriss-sakes. Had they remained together, they’d become perverts or insane people or something from the stress. George was burned out, man. Too much John and Paul dictatorship. It was time the lads grow up and fly the coop.
The Beatles was a fluke and a machine at the same time. That’s the Beatles. Too bad John didn’t learn to duck, and Harrison smoked too many darn cigarettes before being warned of the dangers. They are treasures, every last one. The world is a younger, more invigorating domicile but for the “fab four.” Sounds a little stale, Doesn’t it.

I think of the AR medley as one 'song' (or at least one musical creation, such as 'Close to the Edge' or 'Suite: Judy Blue Eyes'), and as such it is my #1
If I fell at 98.. You done lost your mind
It’s amazing how evenly the songwriters are spread out for the top ten:
John 3.5
Paul 3.5
George 3
We’ll never see three such powerful songwriters in one group ever again.
They forgot something so George may have had 4
@@KellyAddington-j4tSomething is #8. George has Something, Here Comes The Sun and While My Guitar Gently Weeps in the top 10.
Some of these were valid but Words Of Love at 197 was criminal, so was The Long and Winding Road at 92😭😭
My top 5 in no particular order(except #1) are
Lovely Rita
Let It Be
For No One
The Long and Winding Road
Across the Universe🥇
But I looove like every Beatles song(especially from Let It Be and Revolver)
I have a similar top 5
5: I am the Walrus
4: A Day in The Life
3: nowhere man
2. Across the Universe
1. The Long and Winding road
This Boy at 131 is also a crime. This list is a whole crime scene
My top-10:
1. A Day in the Life
2. Strawberry Fields Forever
3. Eleanor Rigby
4. Tomorrow Never Knows
5. Across the Universe
6. Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds
7. Dear Prudence
8. Here, There and Everywhere
9. Yesterday
10. The Fool On The Hill
FOOL ON THE HILL MENTIONED 🔥
Y Little child?
My number 1. Is “In My Life” I’m surprised it didn’t crack your top 10.
I want to hold your hand. Number one for sure. Not just a great song, but a turning point that changed all music and history forever
@@billboggs6641 "I Want to Hold Your Hand" is an especially important song for Americans (first number-one hit there), but the Beatles music in general and in many ways "changed all music". However, my list is just a subjective opinion of the songs I like the most.
From 100 to 1 I had attacks of "don't finish this song now" to "what a great song" from one second to the next
Everything pre 65, all the children's songs ( maxwell, octopus, o bla di, etc), all the sitar songs would be in the bottom half of my list
The fact that most songs are over 3/5 it's insane
Also the fact this guy didn't rate any of them 5/5 is also insane

Horrible song! I don't think it should even rank enough to be on this or any list!
No, it is a catchy song, as performed here:

at least you tried 💁♂️

@@goplad1 lmao it's certainly not horrible. Just some classic blues rock n roll from ringo. Not very good though. Never skip it though.

1.Here there everywhere
That top 4 is 👍!
Here, there and everywhere is the most beautiful piece of music that ive ever heard, insane that it’s only at 40 (but too fair that’s also a testament to how perfect this band is)
Here comes the sun, es una mierda
YES YES YES, HERE THERE AND EVERYWHERE ITS THE BEST
I never understood all the hate for Honey Don't. I know it's a cover, but it's such a catchy and inoffensive song. I can't believe it's considered the 3rd worst Beatles song...
Doctor Robert from 'Revolver' at number 139 ? It's brilliant - and one of the best songs on that album. I think you should listen to the contrast between Lennon's world-weary vocal, Harrison's guitar work and the harmonies on this particular track more closely. And it's probably the band's first overt 'drug' song to boot !
Day Tripper
@@PaulFormentos Yes. I know where you are coming from my friend. If you read Ian MacDonald's excellent book 'Revolution in the Head : The Beatles' records and the Sixties' he gives much the same analysis of that particular track being an early Beatles 'druggy' song.
My top three (relatively speaking) "underrated" Beatles tunes:
1. Long, long, long
2. Your Mother Should Know
3. Fool on the Hill
Funny how the majority of the worst songs by the beatles could be other bands best songs. Just goes to show how great they were.
Ok I died at The Long and Widing Road at *92*, but overall the list is very good
Top 40 I'd say
Strawberry Fields Forever is my favorite song ever, by any artist. While I'm aware it's a pretty popular and well regarded Beatles song, I genuinely was not expecting it to be the best rated on the site 😊
Surprised Revolution 9 is that high
it‘s a sonical revolution quite literally… i love it
Same, should’ve been last
@@secretyzeroo yeah it should be above ringos american country junk like dont pass me by.

3: The Fool On The Hill
4: Abbey Road Medley
5: A Day In The Life
6: Wait
7: I Me Mine
8: Rain
9: There's a Place
10: Mother's Nature Son
11: Girl
12: Across The Universe
13: While My Guitar Gently Weeps
14: Happiness Is A Warm Gun

23: One Ofter 909 (1962 and 1970 ver)
24: Blackbird
25: Hey Bulldog
26: This Boy
27: Old Brown Shoe
28: Tomorrow Never Knows
29: I Am The Warlus
30: Eleanor Rigby
This isn't a "best to worst songs" it's just my favorites.
Well abbey road melody is a bunch of songs, so it would have to be certain I would think
@@maxdoodleplays3072 I count the medley as 1 song because i don't think most of the songs are that strong to be in my top 30
Agree but put I Am The Walrus at 1
John lennon playing the Harmonica is so Wholesome.
This is probably the first beatles rank i see that doesn't have a day in the life as first
And it should be. The song that will bring peace among Lennon and McCartney fans
And now it's the #1 song of all time on rym
Not a second time is great. It can't be so low
I stopped watching the video right there
Weird. My favourite is number 92 and it's followed by my least favourite at number 91
I’ve got a feeling at 121 is wild
Imagine writing “girl” and still having 71 better songs on your catalogue. Over a span of 7 years. Unbeliveable these guys found each other
For me it’s: 1 Strawberry Fields Forever; 2 She Said She Said; 3 Ticket to Ride; 4 Paperback Writer; 5 Tomorrow Never Knows; 6 If I Needed Someone; 7 Rain; 8 Norwegian Wood; 9 A Day in the Life; 10 I’ll Be Back; 11 Come Together; 12 Hey Jude; 13 Penny Lane; 14 And Your Bird Can Sing; 15 Please Please Me; 16 Nowhere Man; 17 I am The Walrus; 18 Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds; 19 glass Onion and 20 I Want to Hold Your Hand.
i agree with you list vic.
don't bother me 3.4, all i've gotta do 3.6, it won't be long 3.8 are all outrageously low considering they sound far less dated and more ahead of their time than most beatles' early catalog. all simple but amazing pop songs
I fully agree. These three were my favourites when I was a kid. I also loved Please Mr Postman.
