It is genuinely insane how many of their songs are over the 4.0 mark. Imagine releasing 87 songs that are so good that thousands of people have rated it at 4 or higher.
YOURNAME MAAAAAN
How does it follow that the songs are good?
Or maybe people are just sh!teaters in general?
@@puk1667 Listen, if you don't like their music, that's on you at this point. It's just not your thing. There aren't literally hundreds of millions of people who who are wrong about The Beatles. They are not overrated. You just don't like their music, and that's okay too.

Having REVOLUTION 9 at 176 and Hold Me Tight at 198 is a sin
Both should be higher
revolution 9 is a top 10 beatles song tbh. i honestly don't get people who dislike it that much.
revolution 9 definitely is the worst beatles "song" @@Gumballcom37
Yes, #9 is by far their worst 'song'!
Why?? "Hold Me Tight" is simply awful and should never have made it onto vinyl. What a clunker! Even McCartney says he doesn't like it.
Long and Winding Road at 92 is crazy
Do you think it should be higher or lower?
@@RedheadLondon it's in my top 5
@@tannerteevsb8963 god yes it's a top 20
@@tannerteevsb8963 I don't think there is any point in surveys like this, as everyone is completely different in their opinions, and one person's top song could be someone else's worst!
I agree one of my favorite top 10.
Says a lot about the Beatles talent that "Two of us" is all the way down at 88
So many of the songs in positions 50 to 100 would be a crowning achievement for most other bands.
great song but compared to the others still too high
Long and Winding Road at 92...
great George representation in the top 10
Yes 🎉❤
"Something" should have been ranked as No.2.
Bro just let almost entire Beatles for Sale behind Revolution 9, thats a shame
Beatles For Sale is actually such a vibe. Works extremely well as an album in my opinion.
Yeah. I know it doesn't hold up as well as all the other albums, but it's not like it's THAT bad of an album.
I’ll take Beatles for Sale over half the songs on the White album any day.
@@carterd5364 The thing about the Beatles is that one of the albums HAS to be the worst, or at most, least good
@@carterd5364 I listened to the full album once to figure out where all the hate was at. 7 of the songs are definitely songs I’d get down to, of the 7, 4 are songs I’d consider a 10/10 (my standards are very low though) I fell those 7 are looked down upon simply because they are on the Beatles for Sale album as a whole. I’m a Loser feels straight out of the Help! album, I’ll Follow the Sun is simply great (and my most listened to Beatles song,) Baby’s in Black has amazing harmonies, No Reply too with amazing harmonies and that “realise” and “eyes” where the vocals went everywhere is a surreal sound. IMO it’s over thrashed, not a D or F tier album, but still I think it deserves the hate for 7 filler songs, although the 7 other songs definitely should not be so hated.
NOT A SECOND TIME AT #206?!?!?
Right. I love that song.
Let it be at 21 is more stupid ,one of greatest songs ever
the beatles has so many good songs it's honestly kinda unbelievable that a band has so many good songs in the span of like 7-8 years
why the hell is blue jay way so low
Imagine here there and everywhere being your 40th best song 😮
Yes..."Imagine"
40th best to some people, for many it is top 10. As much as I like SFF, it is not the best song the Beatles ever produced.
It's not.
One of the greatest tragedies of all time is that John and George are no longer with us,they left a hole that can’t be filled,I was hoping someday they they would have reconciled and gave us magic again but not to be,love you Beatles!
Oh, if they were all still with us we’d definitely have a reunion tour by now. Gosh, what could’ve been. But blessed to have this group of men who defined a generation of music and many people will be listening to them for many more years to come. Love me the Beatles
What a challenge! Can't agree with much of the order but it's great to hear every song. Thank you for putting it together!
It’s based off ratings from RYM. It’s an order more based on a poll than one’s personal opinion.
Having Shes Leaving Home that low is just wrong.
I think it is an awful song!
@@RedheadLondonwhy
@@blurredbetter Dreary and VERY depressing. I think Cynthia Lennon was asked her worst Beatles' song and she said The Long and Winding Road, and the interviewer said it is a weak song. Some folks love it, so 'you can't please them all' as the saying goes.........
Very happy that three of my songs by Beatles are in the first places: "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" "A Day in the Life" and "Something", RIP George Harrison and John Lennon... Great video as always RYM Charts!
His other songs were rated too low though.
I love that Harrison got two of his great songs at the top. He became an equal to Lennon and McCartney with those two brilliant songs. I place "Here Comes The Sun" near the top as well.
@@goplad1 I believe in the longrun Harrison was the better musician. Not only was he the most skilled guitarist, but once they broke up, he had the best solo career, he turned out to be a much better composer than McCartney and Lennon
That's nuts. Lennon/McCartney are the best pop songwriting duo of all time. No way was George better.
@@jun6174 In the beginning it seemed so, since John and Paul made most Beatles songs, but after breakup George had a much better solo career than the other 3. His music matured much more than the others. My recommendation, listen to George's solo albums and see for yourself

Tastes are subjective. There are at most ten Beatles songs that suck. The rest are great and we just argue about their ranking.
@@stlmopoet I agree. I could list 70 Beatles songs that I think are cool.
Maybe it's just me, but seeing "Not a Second Time" at 206 is just devastating. Probably not a Top 50, but definitely should be higher than that. Seeing "Yesterday" at number 7 it's satisfying, such a good song ;)
Agreed about “Not a Second Time.” Criminally underrated.
Kurt Cobain would agree, he listened to it on repeat while writing "About A Girl"
Middling song, atypical Beatles
Not a Second Time is the song that catched my attention to The Beatles, back in 1979, when I was 11

When a song like "Little Child" hits #216 on a band's list of songs, it says a lot about their talent.
If another group had performed it in the 60s, it would have been their biggest hit.
Right,
Only numbers ones here...
i love that song
The German versions of She Loves You and I Want to Hold Your Hand having such a significantly lower rating is so weird to me. They're pretty much the same songs, just with slightly different lyrics.
Completely agree.
Probably because this is RYM’s list, so probably millions of people created it. I don’t think the average person even knows there are German versions, so they’re not putting it in their top 10 or smth either. I guess if he made this list personally they would’ve made it a lot higher
Both great!
Is the single version of “Across The Universe” simply just a variable-speed version of the album version? The fact they’re side-by-side in the ratings is remarkable.
@@DeflatingAtheism It's actually a completely different recording! The single version was recorded for a charity album, "Nothing's Gonna Change Our World," and notably features the backing vocals of two teenage fans
Wild Honey Pie is _daring_ you not to like it. If you hate it, you’re just letting it win.
I says a lot that their worst songs are better than most band's best, in my opinion. I like all of the songs in this video.
The meat riding is crazy 😭
@@alicenaylor1042i mean the meat riding is justified. they're the freaking beatles!
@@Gumballcom37 true but sometimes the meat riding is a little too much and can sometimes gets to the point where the Beatles could’ve literally made a song that’s just sounds of their own farts and they’d still be praising it and calling it a masterpiece
Don't go down that ridiculous road. There are Stones songs I like better than any of the Beatles crap songs. How anyone can make that claim is beyond me. That statement is an insult to the many, many great songs out there.
@@alicenaylor1042 Beatles fans are amongst the most crazy of all music fans. To some of these fanatics the Beatles could do no wrong. It's preposterous. The Beatles did NOT bat a thousand. Any honest and discerning Beatles fan will admit that.

My number 1. Is “In My Life” I’m surprised it didn’t crack your top 10.
I want to hold your hand. Number one for sure. Not just a great song, but a turning point that changed all music and history forever
@@billboggs6641 "I Want to Hold Your Hand" is an especially important song for Americans (first number-one hit there), but the Beatles music in general and in many ways "changed all music". However, my list is just a subjective opinion of the songs I like the most.
I grew up with The Beatles so some songs are permanently attached to a time and place. I was 9 when Beatlemania exploded in America, probably the perfect age to meet them. It is almost unacceptable that any song from A Hard Day's Night, Help!, Revolver or Rubber Soul be in the bottom third. I divide The Beatles' run into three periods; my favorite song from each period are Please Please Me, She Said She Said, and Across the Universe.
This is probably the first beatles rank i see that doesn't have a day in the life as first
And it should be. The song that will bring peace among Lennon and McCartney fans

When the worst song in your library is still above half (2.78 / 5 ... 2.5 is half of 5),
you know you know you're doing alright as a band.
Especially when it isn’t even a proper song, just a jam! If even your jam sessions are above 2.5/5, you’re a great band
Why is For You Blue so low?!!
Probably because it didn't deserve to go higher?
The German version of She Loves You is placed in the worst places, it is simply another language, the song remains the same and does not deserve to be in the worst.
This is a list from RYM, so probably like a million people helped creating this list. I guess since most people don’t even know there are German versions, people don’t vote on them and thus they don’t make it that high

The fact that You Know My Name (Look up the Number) is higher on the list than 33 other songs 😂.
I thoroughly enjoy You Know My Name: them having fun elevates it to around 100 for me.
You Know My Name is not only a dreadful Beatles song but arguably one of the worst songs from the 1960s. Yellow Submarine is just about as bad.
@@goplad1 Nah, it's an okay and funny song if you don't take it seriously.
@@goplad1as the Dude would say, “well that’s just your opinion man”.
Brian jones plays Sax !!!

man, I Want You is basically proto-Doom Metal, if you think about it
I first heard Abbey Road as a teen listening to my Dad’s record. I had already heard Black Sabbath by this point. When the second half of the song started, I literally stopped dead in my tracks. Could not believe what I was hearing. Thought it belonged in Black Sabbath Vol. 4.
Ah... no. How did you come to that opinion? Great song but it is nowhere near doom metal by any stretch of the imagination.
@@goplad1 I just pulled out of my ass
You nailed my number one!
I think of the AR medley as one 'song' (or at least one musical creation, such as 'Close to the Edge' or 'Suite: Judy Blue Eyes'), and as such it is my #1
I predicted numbers 1 and 2 only the other way round!

Lol
Only 38 seconds in and the Beatles for Sale slander has got me heated
Agreed!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!! This album contains some of the best material before Rubber Soul !! As an album cut, i rate "I Don't Want To Spoil The Party" up with "All My Loving" - a highly original song!!
Beatles for Sale has SO MANY BANGERS on it such as “Eight Days a Week,” "What You’re Doing,” “Every Little Thing,” “No Reply”, “Rock and Roll Music” just to name a few!
Come on. Mr. Moonlight alone mars that album forever.
@@goplad1 What’s wrong with Mr Moonlight?
@@ozharms If you seriously have to ask that question then my guess is you are way too invested in the Beatles. Come on. Let's be real. Mr. Moonlight is widely considered a total flop. I agree.
Must have taken a great deal of time and work. Thanks.
I’m begging for a video like this for king gizzard and the lizard wizard
That would be 10 hours long, no?
Interesante ejercicio. Congratulations, I don't agree sometimes but... para gustos los colores.
