Best advice I can give is go cold turkey on one side and when that side is able to breath free stop using on the other side. Oral decongestants, saline rinse with neti pot etc all help.

Also the breathe right strips along with those helps so much, I'm currently down to using the spray almost just once a day if my congestion gets to bad but other than that the oral and the saline spray helps a lot. Within a week my breathing has gotten way better, I'm sneezing a lot less a no more mini panic attacks

First day of afrin , one feels like a it's a miracle drug. After day 3 , the rebound comes , followed by anxiety, burning nose .
After day 3 I began diluting afrin with distilled water , the anxiety kept getting worse. On day 7 I went cold turkey from the mixture. No more anxiety but the congestion is still there 😔

@@mohammednajimabed9601 hey buddy. I'm okay. 9 months ago, I had the worst experience ever . Anxiety like a mf . But I learned how to manage it. I am sick again. For the last 5 days. On the the second day. I picked up afrin . But only used it at night for 3 days . Sucks I should have just stayed away from it again. But I had my sons birthday so I wanted to sleep. So afrin helped me sleep. I get rebound from it after 2 uses. Which sucks . Cuz stopping it puts me right back in the same position. I should have learned my lesson.

@@resaleking14 hope you get better soon and be careful of afrin. I had the same mistake, used it for 10 days and I am suffering now. I did cold turkey since two months but still my nose is congested with enlarged turbinates. I don't know how long it takes for the turbinates to be normal again also I am afraid of surgery

@@mohammednajimabed9601 ibuprofen helped with the inflammation since rebound congestion isn't due to histamine.
      I popped 800mg every 6-8 hours . It helped.

@@resaleking14 That's great idea, yes it is not histamine who is causing our problem that is why a month of using antihistamine didn't do any improvement in my case. Thanks very much, you are elite 🙏
