Wow, Eric and Michael together - I'm in! Two phenomenal actors and all round great guys.
Eric F’n Roberts!!!! The man!!!!! Great actor!!!!! Legendary stuff!!!
I'm so impressed you Eric to sit in one place for 90 minutes!!! Great interview Michael and Eric.
Superb interview with a fantastic guest. And as one of the many Comic Con fans who have paid to meet Michael and thank him for changing my life, I'm happy we have all helped make his life easier in return :)
Michael has a podcast! Glad to be in at the start buddy. I hope its a great success for you.
Wow.... just now finding this pod... loving it... can't wait to see what's comes next!
RIP James Earl Jones.
Wha-!? Michael has a street fighter arcade cabinet!?
That was so cool to listen to. The great thing is that you still feel that Mr Roberts got a real passion for his job and that's inspiring.
Great guest. I first saw him as The Master in the Doctor Who movie from 1996.
I love to see you guys in movies again
What a great conversation! So sympatico definitely helps open up the details. Each subsequent podcast reveals Michael's growth as a conversationalist rather than the far-too-quick and all too brief "interviews" that dominate the airways. Each new podcast feeds our hunger for those yet to come. Eric Roberts is quite open and comfortable with his experiences and insights not only concerning his role as Actor but also in sharing the relationships he's experienced with other actos, directors, and producers. Maybe we'll see Eric and Michael in a movie or two yet.
Wow cool seing two actors i've actually met in real life (at two seperate conventions) just having a great conversation. Now Michael Biehn has been my hero since i was a kid (Terminator but especially Aliens was a huge influence). Now Eric Roberts is a legend but check out when he played a serial killer at death row on HBOs "OZ" what a performance.
another great guy, Eric inspired me to practice karate, his role on best of the best and the sequel rocks, he IS the guy, and then he was an angel on this film the prophecy, and of course the specialist, that was THE MOVIE in the nineties. You ROCK Eric!
The street fighter machine in the background is my favorite part of the show.
Quickly becoming one of my favorite pod-shows, the stories of a Hollywood from yesteryear are always fascinating and I love to hear the breakdowns.
Goodness, I remember the lead up to the first Expendables back in the day. Back in like 1008, 2 years before it was made, and I followed all the viral marketing up until the premiere. I was disappointed that Beihn didn't get involved, but until today, I never knew that Stallone threw him under the bus with words like "Actors that aren't getting work anymore". I only remember Sly saying he was thinking of putting together a "Homecoming of 80s action tough guys". What a missed opportunity.
So glad Michael got Eric to talk about Star 80 so much. I have always been interested in hearing about the making of that film.
What an episode, OMG 🤪!
I don't know even how to start! As I said every program better than the last!!
The first one, WHAT A FUCKING GENERATION OF ACTORS AN ACTRESSES BORN IN 50's!!! I think you are not concious HOW MUCH IMPORTANT YOU WERE AND ARE FOR MY GENERATION, born in 70's and 80's!! We grow up with the video player and In video clubs!! We were the first gen having an ENTIRE CINEMA WORLD FOR US!! And You, GUYS AND GIRLS, were in the covers in our VHS 📼 that we rented every week! Can you imagine how much you were part of our lives!! For that We are in lines and for that I LOVE THIS SHOW and the conversation between you!
Bob Fosse! He was a Genius really. The director and choreographer of ALL THAT JAZZ (what a masterpiece). The anecdote about Peter Bogdanovich didn't know it. I saw Star 80 some years ago and it was a very dark story just as P B looked to me always.
MICKEY ROURKE! I totally Agree with Eric and Michael. He is a HUGE ACTOR. He was stoned me with his Motorcycle Boy. You can imagine!! Barfly, that they talked about, is one of the best acting I've ever seen. But i was really bad with his change. You know. Watching him in The Wrestler was a kind of Reconciliation with him.
Runaway train is a Great Movie about human condition and totally Breathless.
But THE Movie with Eric Roberts I mostly remember Is THE AMBULANCE. I like so much that Movie. I missed it.
Finally I went to IMDB To catch up and I see that he has 748 credits 🤪🤪 WTF!! There are soooo life to do that!! How?
And one thing!!! OF COURSE WOMEN ARE THE BOSSES. What would you do without us! 🤗
Subscribed. Hope you can get Linda Hamilton on for the 40th anniversary.
Alex Grady in the house
Best of the best and part 2... Great!!! 3 and 4 should have been totally different movies outside best of the best and waited and done a 3rd one once the situation was better.
You really need to watch the specialist Michael! Amazing cast!
I wanna hear eric tall about the best of the best films ...i love them but never heard him say a word on them
Grew up watching this man. Navy Seals movie made me crawl all over my neighbors tow lot at night pretending it was Isreal shit as an 8yr old. It was awesome sneaking out and sneaking back in. Couldn’t subscribe fast enough
After seeing you for the first time in the movie The Rock you were going places and you sure did right to the top bro AutoZone active duty for 26 years during all your movies and you've been awesome for us
👍
This needs WAY more views.
Love MB and love his podcast. He actually felt for Paul S. in STAR 80. SO glad Eric corrected him as Paul being a complete asshole and beyond redemption. What the hell was MB thinking?
Pop it tommy
I'm lost... wen u made Termanator said you were with your mate because of love Sean you said boyfriend had hard time seeing u with woman? Confused from your coma con? Buy? Both ways
? Plus kids
Michael -
Please clarify your comments regarding Bogdanovich.
Im unclear why you continued to insult Peter and make excuses or dismiss Paul. I think you should explain more thoroughly what you meant by what you were saying. Paul killed Dorothy. Peter dated Dorothy. Are you unclear about the facts?

Why do you care
I wish they hadn't spoiled Star 80, I hadn't yet watched the movie. I didn't even know what it was about.
It came out 40 years ago. That's on you
