I do the exact same thing. Look for deals out of Atlanta and just book it and go. Have flight from Atlanta to London round trip March 3 returning March 13 for $188 including all taxes and fees. Have a $2,500 budget so I have $231 dollar's a day for ground transportation, food, attractions, and hotel. That direct flight is always around $1,000 but mine both ways connects at JFK and I won't even have to get off the plane. This ( almost) direct flight is always, ALWAYS full and if I'm lucky they'll be oversold and I can get $1500-$2,000 airline credit for giving up my seat. I'll still get to London same day ( or early next day ) but probably have to connect in Canada or even Turkey. You can go anywhere in the World with a $231 daily budget. So for 10KUS I have 4) 10day vacations every year. Last one was Atlanta to Tuxtla Mexico in October and Airfare total round trip was $304. $2500 budget I spent $1890 total. So for ground transportation, food, and hotel I spent $159US per day. I budget $1,000 per month for travel, experiences, and away from home expenses. The best deal I dumbed into was 2019 when I had a $79 one way flight to Miami from Atlanta and got $2,100 airline credit for giving up my seat. $2,100. I still got to Miami 5 hours later than original arrival time.
I feel like your shows are planning my family trips next year. Already planning the rovaniemi trip via the santa express, might have to price up a pit stop to Copenhagen if that lad paid £25. Keep on living the dream and inspiring others ⚫⚪🐟 🎣

Always a pleasure. Merry Christmas Simon 🎄
I feel like your shows are planning my family trips next year. Already planning the rovaniemi trip via the santa express, might have to price up a pit stop to Copenhagen if that lad paid £25. Keep on living the dream and inspiring others ⚫⚪🐟 🎣
