just thought I'd let you know that I found your channel the other day and now your videos are all I want to watch. It's hard to find youtubers like you with the style that I'm in to. so, thank you for being awesome. from a fellow Canadian. 🥰
these videos are actually so motivating and inspiring!! you explain really well and i enjoy the vlog type explanation of your experience and perspective! thank you for making these they are so great!!!
I just started crocheting 2 weeks ago and I'm so happy to have found this video. I've been working my way through the bandana and have found everything wonderfully easy to follow as a beginner, and I especially appreciate how you explain why you're going to do what you do instead of just the how, it helps to know the reason behind certain things.
I just made this. It was very easy to follow! I only started crocheting a little over 2 weeks ago, so this is very beginner friendly :)
Im so glad i found this tutorial, this is my first project of this month ❤ beginner here!
I came for the crochet but stayed for the cats.

I have to make one NOW 💜💜💜
jusr made this and it came out so lovely, thanks for making this!!
If you don't like that I posted the written pattern, I'll take it down.
Round one(with yellow)
- Magic circle/ring with 8sc
Round two(With petal color)
- Do a dc cluster in each stitch and join.
cluster:
- *yarn over, insert hook into st and pull out a stitch, pull through 2 loops on hook* and repeat from * to * 2 more times. Pull through all stitches.
Round three(with background color)
- 1) join to any space and dc 3 then ch1.
- 2) in next space, *dc3, ch2, dc*(for corner)
-alternate 1 and 2 until end. join w/slst.
Oh no that’s fine! Some people might understand written patterns better! 😊
I am used to written patterns so this was actually very helpful thank you
Thank you ❤
Cotton yarn drapes quite nicely! Btw
hey if you’re like me and too lazy to pick up nails, wood and a hammer, what i did to make a blocking board is just to get a big, thick styrofoam block then stick a few paperclips in it. i got the block from one of those styrofoam coolers. it’s been working fine for the past few hours, hope you guys find this helpful!
hi one month update. it died. dont follow my advice
Thanks for the Video, You covered it very well. I'm gonna make one.🌻🍁🌻
What kind of camera are you using?
I am very confused in the beginning when you said to do 8 single cr I did then when your supposed to do a sl st, did that to but after that I ended up counting 9 stitches not 8
Just do 7 single crochets instead
I don't know why, but the magic ring is giving me so much trouble. I have made magic rings a different way with no trouble, but this part is really confusing me. My line of single crochets keeps twisting
Just do it the way you usually do! There’s many ways to do magic rings but they all get the same result :)
Is there any way to make this granny square bigger, I'm a beginner an love the square but my project I need squares 5inx5in
I know you asked about this 2 weeks ago, but increasing your hook size and / or yarn size helps. She’s using #3 or dk weight yarn, so if you did worsted weight that would increase the size. Of course increase your crochet hook too.
Ok so I went back and did it with 7 single and got 8 once I sl st. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong ?
That’s correct! Your connecting slip stitch will function as your 8th loop to put the petals on!
So when I was doing the 8 sc, I was ending up with 9 with after the sl st so I think I will do just 7 sc next time
Thank you guys for commenting back I appreciate the help!!
@@estefanyasencio7423 yes, do 7 sc then connect with a slip stitch and you’ll have 8! I had the same confusion at first.
I had this same thing happen. Tried it twice, but still ended up with 9. I’ll do 7 sc and then sl st! Thanks for the comment because I thought I was doing something wrong haha
spent a week making this only for it to be too small and look awkward :( im devastated i might actually quit crocheting LMAO it took so much work and my hands hurt so much 😭😭😭😭😭
