    Yarn:
    For the middle of the square:
    Amount of yarn: 1 ball
    Brand of yarn: impeccable Yarn
    Colour: Butterscotch
    weight medium 4
    For the petals :
    Amount of yarn: 1 ball
    Brand of yarn: Patons
    Colour: Aran
    weight medium 4
    For the boarder:
    Amount of yarn: 1 ball
    Brand of yarn: Patons
    Colour: Cherished Green
    weight medium 4
    I used a crochet hook in the size : 5mm / U.S. H/8

    What’s the pattern for the pink and white bandana?? Love you pattern and how all the granny squares turned out (you made me obsessed with daisies), but the pink and white one looks so cute too

    This is was actually pretty confusing for me and I had to follow the finished product. It would've been helpful for you to start with the stitch name and whatever modifications you were making. Thanks for sharing

      I only used 1 ball of yarn for each of the colours! And i still have yarn left over lol

      You totally could make it bigger! There are so many different ways to do it to! You could make more than 8 pedals, you could add a 2nd row of pedals, or you could make more squares! I hope this helps 😊

    Hi Michelle! Would it make a lot of difference if I used a 3 weight yarn instead of a 4? I have the colors I want in the 3 weight yarn, but if it really messes up the project i don’t want to use it.

      It might end up being a bit smaller, so you could just add an extra row of squares. Also personally i wish i had went with a thinner yarn. I feel that the 4 weight is still a little bit too bulky. Hope this helps 😊

      @@michelle_jasek should I use the hook it suggests (4 mm) or go with the 5 mm? I’m a bit new at this😂 Thank you for the help!

      @@kaitlynhale8286 i always go with the hook that the yarn tells me to use. If you use a bigger hook on thinner yarn, the stitches sometimes have gaps between them. (which has happened to me before and i learned my lesson haha)

    hi Michelle! personally what yarn do you think would you recommend in doing this bandana?? and hook size? i wanna make one but i'm not sure what yarn to use cuz i don't want it to be too bulk since i want to give this to my friend as a gift >_, btw thank you so much for the pattern!

      i wanna try monaco yarn but >_, heard it's hard to use KHJBDJAHSVF but if it's a better one and not that bulky then will deffinitely attempt to do it

      I like using a thinner and softer yarn. I feel like the softer the yarn the less stiff it will be. And then you would use what hook that yarn suggests you to use. Hope this helps!

      I don’t use cotton too often just cause it can be a little stiff. But you can always test it out on one square and see how it feels.

    When you said you were gonna tie the loose ends on the back, do you literally just make knots and cut them off? Or how do you get rid of the loose ends?

      Yep that’s all i did. Just tied them into knots and cut off the ends. No one will see the underside, so it doesn’t have to look perfect lol

      I would think so. But if you think it’s still too small, you can always add an extra row of squares to make your bandana bigger! 😊

      You will have to clarify what step of the half square you referring to. Are you referring to the pedal part or the boarder?

    In the half square on the first corner of the border is it chain 5, double crochet, double crochet? I am struggling with a rather large hole from the chain five
    What am I doing wrong?

      I will do my best to help! 😊 Are you chaining 5 and doing 2 double crochets in the same stitch? Cause that’s what i did. For the half squares you are doing the same steps as a full square. But for 2 of the corners you only make a half corner. I hope that makes sense lol

      @@michelle_jasek yes that makes sense and that’s what I did! I’m not sure where I’m going wrong! But the hole is between the chain and the next double crochet if that makes sense.

      I haven’t worked with cotton yarn too much, but when i have I feel like it’s not as flexible as acrylic yarn.

    You tend to skip over a lot of information for some reason.. and you also get a little bit confusing on some parts. This is probably the most stressful tutorial i’ve seen so far💀
