-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.

-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.

Thanks for the triangle tutorial. I have a farm table that has a raised triangle area in the corner. My cats like to sit there so I wanted to make something pretty and warm that they could sit on. I made it the same color and size of the area, looks great!

I have been blessed with finding you. When I first started crocheting I started with your granny square you make it so easy to follow. Excellent tutorials as always. I'm left handed and your tutorial for left handers started me off. I still can't read patterns so rely on videos like yours. My son wants a Ninjago blanket which I was going to do with granny squares but this tutorial will be perfect for doing the masks.
