@@rockyyayo3620 well obviously, but Phil Collins can't drum anymore and that just isn't going to happen - even with Nick Collins or Chester Thompson on drums, is it?
When you've seen Genesis 6 times throughout the decades and have an ear for PROG in general, it's easy to see that these men are the real deal and are very entertaining. For a musician to carve out a living can be very tough, in this era of homogenized music. This group's ability to perform Medleys from various artists would prove WILDLY SUCCESSFUL on a regional tour if curated properly with the right venues and management team. There IS an audience with money to spend, that wants to be in the same room with a band that can do this. No Joke! Young musicians, leaning into the music and earning a great living doing it. It's there for you!
These guys are absolute monsters. They can play ANYTHING, from Queen and Pink Floyd to Genesis, or Toto for Pete's sake... And it sounds often better than the original. Absolute respect.
I have no words to express the pleasure it has given me to listen to this brilliant, intense and virtuous interpretation of one of the bands that I have loved since 71 and throughout my life (I am 64 years old). I have enjoyed with exhilarating pleasure all this material by you recreated with such grace. All impressive on their instruments, they are truly great musicians and as a colleague, it is an honor to have listened to them. I send you a big hug from far away Argentina, my beloved country.
After a crappy day in office, watching your performance was saving my day. And isn't that what music is for? Thank you guys so much! I appreciate your art. Btw, just wondering why some people vote with thumbs down. Hey guys, are you enjoying your live? Sorry, rhetorical question...
WOW! Having listened to Genesis from nearly their beginning back in the late 60s, I can honestly say what was missing in the quality of those early recordings has been made up for by these new sounds. The range of the instruments is much more accurately represented in this medley. The progressive rock sound is back! Thanks for the great arrangements (and even some different chord progressions) and sounds. You guys rock!
Wow... Firth of fifth followed by The Lamia! Two masterpieces covered and interpreted perfectly and tastefully. You guys nailed the atmosphere and feeling of the originals.
I revisited this video, being it was one of the first I heard of theirs, and as a Genesis FANATIC, especially the 70's era, these songs were masterfully done! Marius did a beautiful rendition of the piano on Firth of Fifth, and over-all, this collection of Genesis tunes was so well done, the guys from the band would be very proud of you all! It gave me goosebumps when right after Firth, you all went into The Lamia. Oh my goodness.....Martin's voice, the keyboards, the masterful playing from Benni and Felix.....bravo guys! Oh, and I HAVE to mention the vocals from Mathias and the flute work from Jonas gave me chills! And Genesis will always be the best because of one song, and you guys nailed the ending......Supper's Ready! You made this Genesis fanatic VERY proud to have you on my list of favorite bands! THANK YOU!!!
These Genesis’ songs are just incredible, listen to this medley every day...and Lamia cover is goose bumping Martin’s voice is perfectly fit for it and the rest of the band simply amazing every note and every sound is perfectly matched with the songs, never heard something like this before...they play with passion. Simply said perfect, awesome, nice, beautiful...keep going on, greetings from Slovakia🎹🙂
I'm coming up on 69 next month, much of this was what I was listening to in High School & College, along with Yes, ELP & Rush. As I got my musical theory together, I started realizing how fantastic Tony, Steve & Phil were as musicians... Simply amazing. ❤❤❤ Collins could play any time signature, just like Bruford, Vinnie or Peart!
You guys are staying on the shoulders of giants but the fact you have learned you art so well deserves the deepest of respect. I feel honoured to have witnessed this, I salute you.
Brilliant medley - capturing the changing feel of Genesis through their career beautifully. Great to hear Behind the Lines - often forgotten classic. Spot on!
I keep coming back to this even as a sporadic Genesis fan. There is just so much to love about this cover. I can't get enough of that transition into and then the rest of Supper's Ready
I wonder what the original composers of these songs would explain in reflection about this magnificent performance? This concert is displaying perfected musicianship and mad respect for the source material.
Ok , it's a cover. But what a precise research of the same sound and something more for everyone. Exceptional . Great band, sound recording and video quality. Genesis will be very proud of this. I cannot believe how easy seems the intro of firth of forth played by Marius . God , is so difficult. Miller add some more notes but it's good. Felix is fantastic. Everyone is fantastic. Thank you from the deep of my heart for half an hour of real pleasure.
There are a number of Genesis tribute bands that I know of, but most, I think, would be left standing in the dust as musicians by this band. I have rarely seen a group of musicians that know their craft as this band. It's unbelievable, really. And they are not 65-70 year-olds like Pink Floyd or the (real) Genesis, that kid on second guitar barely looks 16. Crivens, they're good. x
Fantastic stuff. I'm amazed to see there's still people giving this a thumbs down?! Many hours of practicing by these wonderful young musicians playing the music of one of the greatest band ever. No sheet music in site.....
This is a honor for Genesis work. Thank you Martin and Band. For me, a guy that i'm just found of Genesis at the seventies, it will be good. Genesis for me end's at the great álbum Duke. But Martin and the Band keeps always together at the same time. The new and the old age. Very good, and he Lamia is outstanding with Martin works

Just watched again. Very very talented musicians. Vocals are so spot on. The keys are out of this world, what a great dude. Guys please keep them coming. Thanks so much for all your hard work and efforts 👌 💪
guys is it just me or everyone is experiencing a very good audio mix now? I am amazed by how your channel gives so good audio mix output of the music you perform...I have a twenty-year-old 5.1 multimedia speaker connected to my laptop and I have never heard music from it this good...is it because of the technology or its just because how good you are with mixing? However, thank for this...been listening from your channel the whole day....
There are only two rock songs that make me choke up. One is Firth of Fifth the other is the end of Suppers Ready. I just have to say, I choked up watching this, twice. Great job guys! You could have ended at suppers ready, but I was so pleased by the choice of Squonk I changed my mind. Also, I had that thought that the way you ended Invisible Touch would have transitioned well into Duchess.
Merci !
at this point in time 905 down thumbs proves that the people have no idea to comprehend quality music. good to see young talent playing here.nice nice job
Absolutely fantastic. GENSIS, the soundtrack of my youth. "The Lamia" was a wonderful surprise. One of the finest tracks from THE LAMB. I´m so happy to realize, that younger people breathe new life in this music.
Great playing, but what really blows my mind is the keyboard assortment in that room. Even Rick Wakeman and Keith Emerson would look on with admiration.
I don’t know if you guys have a way of making real money from your incredible skill, but I can see you guys regularly filling up rooms in Las Vegas as a Genesis (or apparently any other band you want) tribute band. I would absolutely pay to see you guys play.
The talent in the room should be enough to engage the world. But, the video production is on par with any broadcast. (And I’m not going to even mention the audio mix - which is excellent) - I guess I just wanted to comment on how well these videos are produced. Immaculate, friends. Cheers from Texas, US 🙏
Right away I thought, Cover band? Oh no! But then you won me over with oh about the first ten notes. I am stunned at your bravery tackling this material, and your talent in performing it excellently. You even took a few liberties here and there, and THEY work! Bravo!
Man, I have listened to this medley probably almost 100 times ... and every single time I get amazed on cell level of the musical craftsmanship which is beyond imagination ...
To play Genesis this well takes an enormous amount of talent. But it pales in comparison to the talent required to write the material in the first place. I love Genesis, but it always disappoints me that the only material most people know is off their 1980s albums. This medley is great because it includes a lot of tracks from different eras.
I was listening to Genesis before you guys were born ...I got to see one of the last Lamb concerts just before Peter left the band. To say I am a Genesis fan ...well no bigger is alive. You guys did an EXCELLENT medley ...I am so glad to see the younger generations enjoying such fine music. Now check out Happy The Man

@@briane5706 Was gonna say, don't forget Steve!
You left out Steve? The only member actively and consistently to be performing Genesis material? Shame on you.
Tony Banks is the king of crazy chord progressions and timing changes - you guys did this perfectly
uh, that would be Kerry Minnear, but, different Kingdom I suppose.
I wonder how many times they tried to get that Firth of Fifth intro right.. insane
They aren't crazy, fun and easy to listen to.
Firth of Fifth is one of the music Masterpieces of all time, its incredible. Love Genesis specially the alguns when Peter Gabriel was there.
TIME..nothing but TIME...(Tears In My Eyes)..what an amazing performance of the most beautiful songs ever ...many many thnx..
I feel blessed because I'm a huge Genesis fan, I watched all of your medleys and didn't expect you would pay homage to them one day! Masterful job as always!!!
This is the genesis reunion we wished could have happened. Last Domino tour was bitter sweet. One of the great bands of all time!
Genesis reunion is with Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett, not the pop band,
@@rockyyayo3620 well obviously, but Phil Collins can't drum anymore and that just isn't going to happen - even with Nick Collins or Chester Thompson on drums, is it?
Wonderful, amazing. Outstanding. I m Brazilian Genesis' fan from Rio de Janeiro. Congrats. All of you are fantastic musicians.
I couldn't be more agree with you Sir.
Them could play anything, Just the way it should be played
Better than the original? You must be joking.
Tony Banks' chord shapes are so under appreciated. Awesome tribute!!
When this madness is all over, please do a tour of Europe! I'd pay good money to come and watch you guys live.
It’s not going to end. Prepare for the worst. The Life you had is finished.
And Australia, please
@@kchappelle wtf is wrong with u
I can't even imagine the number of days or weeks of work this medley must have required. You did a stellar job! The amount of talent is surreal!
You guys rock! Can you do a Led Zeppelin medley.
allready done
Our pleasure!
This medley is beyond what I expected. What a remarkable cover, I respect.
Keyboards gotta get some love on this video, he's a legend on the keys, as is the entire band all extremely talented individuals
This is the 1rst time I’ve seen him,he is super good, who is he?
Robert Michalscheck His name is Marius Leicht, and he‘s indeed very good.
Rayy‘s Musikladen yes he is real good,I’ll take this music over the laughable junk that is considered popular music these days.
👏👏👏👏👏👏 outfukingstanding
@@RayyMusik Agreed. He gets the feeling of it all, not so easy.
I'm coming up on 69 next month, much of this was what I was listening to in High School & College, along with Yes, ELP & Rush. As I got my musical theory together, I started realizing how fantastic Tony, Steve & Phil were as musicians...
Simply amazing. ❤❤❤
Collins could play any time signature, just like Bruford, Vinnie or Peart!
Firth of Fifth is easily one of my top 5 songs all time. Great job!
Spot on!
You know somebody is a hardcore Genesis fan when The Lamia is in the list :)
The labia is always on my list
@@gregblass3328 lmao
Oh que oui!
I wasn't. Then I heard it here. I am now. Cheers, Sonic Peak Studio
I was so happy to see this!!! 🤩 🎶
Great sound, music, voices, interpretation,
expressiveness...thank you for keeping the music alive in this horrible (music) time
Voice DID NOT suit the music at all. Facts bro.
who give s a flying fuck there pretty dam good doing what they love god
@@GregDover. the first guy singing did a great job...
Horrible music time? What do you mean?
@@harrisonreed1502 I guess they meant music coming out recently, but that's such a vague term. Who knows?
This is most definitely the best Genesis cover I have heard! It would be great to have Supper's Ready in its entirety performed by you folks!
ONE TAKE !! still love it at age 72 !!
Tony Banks himself stopped playin this intro live, because it was too hard lol
Not only cover but much more. Great music and great guys!
Good apreciations, I agree with You. Greetings from México. Alfredo
Hace an excelent day Alessandra. Thanks for the like. Greetings. Alfredo
Very good, and he Lamia is outstanding with Martin works
i can not believe my ears ...SUPERB rendition of not so easy music, i like vocal a lot , keabords, guitars are fantastic ....drums ......no words can describe skills of Felix Greetings from Poland , GUYS THUMBS UP !!!
My ears are bleeding. Because of that cringe of a singer
Damn! It‘s fucking good!!! The real spirit of one of the most amazing rock band of the history!
Congratulations to all of you guys!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Beautiful keyboard playing on the Firth of Fifth intro.
I cannot understand why anyone who enjoys real music would have given this a thumbs down. It's very good!
Рад , что ребята качественно делают классику прошлого века, может когда нибудь придумают свой шедевр!
This was simply incredible!! Loved how everyone inputted their own style & didn’t try to copy Genesis too much. Amazing.
Phil Collins would be so proud !!!! This is a fantastic medley!! Thanks guys !! You are all so very talented
Do King Crimson next : D
Do Happy the Man!
Easy Money, lark tongues part 2, 21st Century Schizoid Man, I talk to the wind, etc. There's a lot of great tunes by them.

The sing is an easy match with Phil. He brings new things to the way the words are presented. All in all they are doing a bang on job, love you.
No
Merci !
As another Genesis snob here (all four variants of Abacab covers in vinyl collection ahem...) - I must say this is bloomin' amazing! Well played all.
at this point in time 905 down thumbs proves that the people have no idea to comprehend quality music. good to see young talent playing here.nice nice job
Absolutely fantastic. GENSIS, the soundtrack of my youth. "The Lamia" was a wonderful surprise. One of the finest tracks from THE LAMB. I´m so happy to realize, that younger people breathe new life in this music.
i get so excited when you upload new videos, they *NEVER* disappoint.
Me too!
Bravo!
You have no idea what this means to me, from the bottom of my heart: thank you so much.
Now check out Happy The Man
Your excellent performance just gave me an enjoyable break from the madness. Here in Israel
Just keep doing these medleys pal, they're ace
Rush next yeah? Yeaahhh
PLEASE notice this comment up here
Noticed :)
In that case Yes, King Crimson and Dream Theater too 😙
I can see you guys having fun jamming Analog Kid! 🤞
Yes as well, please! Great as always!
YES - I am so happy to see another video from you. Always a treat. This is no exception.
yes... yes medley?
I thought you were suggesting a Yes medley
You are all amazing guys. I saw Genesis on stage a couple of times. I've been a fan for 45 years. Genesis would be proud of you. I didn't know that Peter Sagan played bass guitar. Thank you so much.
