    Very good info! I never thought of trying a jig head and swimbait behind a bottom bouncer. I can see this working well in rivers and current situations. I'll be giving it try for sure.

      I have used it in rivers before and it definitely works.

    Very informative video and I appreciate you sharing your tips and tricks. Looking forward to trying them when we get open water again. What speed do you tend to troll at when pulling these bottom bouncers? Do you change the speed with the different techniques or generally run the same speed? Thanks again, great video!

      I usually troll about 1 to 1.3mph. With a crank bait or swim bait about the 1.3mph just to keep it up off the bottom. Thanks for watching!!

    What speed do you like when trolling with bottom bouncers? Is it different with using spinners or cranks? And, what depths do work in? Thank you...

      I troll about 1 to 1.2 MPH for most everything I put on a bottom bouncer. The slower speed keeps you closer to the boat with your line and makes it easier to control your depth.

      I have tried it in the past and caught some nice walleye but have not used it in a long time.

    • @kenandtrishoutdoors
      @kenandtrishoutdoors  3 місяці тому +1

      7 foot, medium with fast action should be good! If you are over 2 Ounce medium heavy would be better

      Yes we fish for Lake trout and stocked trout. We have a tripped planned for end of September for Lakers and hopefully some big Rainbows. 😊
