wow that's some awesome topwater action, never even caught one myself, so cool
Thanks! It was a great day of fishing that's for sure!
Well done guys.I ove bottom bouncing..That speed is perfect
Thanks bud, slow and steady stacks them up!
Nice video, keep up the great work.
Thanks glad you liked the video!
Nice Tips.. hopefully you had some keepers
Thanks 🙂 yes we were able to get a couple to take home for supper!
Love it!
Thank you!
New Subscriber to your channel. Thanks for sharing and making the video! I just bought an 2024 Lund 1875 Fisherman with the full sport top enclosure. Could you post where you purchased the bug netting? I am thinking about camping in my new Lund also. The full enclosure is not bug proof by design, so some sort of netting would still be required for overnight camping. Thanks again for sharing! Tight Lines!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎣🎣🎣😎
Thanks for subscribing! We bought our bug net at Canadian Tire, but I have seen them on Amazon as well.
😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Hahahaha
Perhaps brush your teeth for the first time in your life?
How do the legs go out when deployed since the SportTrak is on the narrow gunnel that is outside (wider) than the deck? Are they hinged at the top?
Yes they are hinged at the top and snap in on the bottom
Thanks for the reply!
Omg only 2 seed potatos and you got that yield out of a storage bucket in 4mo? Thats so awesome!!!
Is it possible to fish for walleye from the bank?
Yes there is some good shore fishing by the riblin bridge and the Togo bridge. Better in the spring and fall
I live in another state, but I've always heard that walleye like to be deep. So I wasn't sure it was possible for me. Thanks for the encouragement, I'll keep trying.
What techniques were you mostly using? Jigging live bait right under the boat? Casting minnows or plastics?
Little bit of everything. The most effective that day was casting plastics and bouncing off the bottom and bottom bouncing a salted minnow on a spinner.
@@kenandtrishoutdoors awesome! Fishing in Canada looks so sweet!
That's the way to spend a weekend. Full Sport top enclosure would be a great option
We are looking at that option actually. Would probably close you right in.
@@kenandtrishoutdoors I think it would work great!
Had my plug fail on my 1775 Impact during my first season
Yeah that's frustrating for what you pay for the boat!
So much fun! I want to go with ya one of these times!
You would definitely have a blast!
Great video. Addressed a lot of the small issues with the boat, but I still love my 2020 Adventure. Just wondering who makes the aluminum livescope bracket you have on the trac system?
Arc Lab in Wpg is where I get all my Livescope accessories
Looked like a nice day to be on the lake!
It was forsure, and the fish were biting!
What model boat please? Loved the video!
Lund Adventure sport 1775
When fish are hitting top water lures its so much fun !
So exciting when they hit top water !
Great video thank you.
Hope it helped !
To bad for the rain but looked like a relaxing time :)
It was great to get away and enjoy nature!
Top water fishing is so much fun 👍
One of my favorite ways to fish!
Beautiful fish! Looks like a great day 😊
Thanks, it was some pretty good fishing in beautiful country!
Great video guys, nice camping
Thank you!
That’s awesome. Made a trip out there once this year. Got skunked for sure want to try again closer to fall
Thanks! The fall bite can be hot there!
Beautiful muskies!! What lake is this? Duck mountains? Tight lines brother!! 🎣
Thanks bud, yes very close to the Ducks!
Oh my god this is you guys? I just clicked on this video about the loon and there’s 3 “loonies” that I know very well.❤😂
Lol yup couple of loons 😂
All were missing is Henry Fonda, Katherine Hepburn, and then we’re all set👍
I also had to pay extra for the pro ride seats and now they come standard.
I love the boat but I wish they would have put in more thought into it before they brought it to market!
I agree, a few simple obvious changes would have made the boat much better! I'm still happy with it but like you said would have been nice to think of those things before launching the boat line.
also added the wireless phone charger /holder it doesn't work unless you take the phone cover off
I added the 2 rod storage that you pointed out. also added the locks and gas struts to the forward compartments.
Id like to see a vid of the 2 rod storage
sorry 2022 the front compartments are a real disappointment not having 20:07 a channel and gasket around them .I have to air them out or everything gets mold on it.
sorry 2022 the front compartments are a real disappointment not having 20:07 a channel and gasket around them .I have to air them out or everything gets mold on it.
sorry 2022, noticed the same disappointing problems that you pointed out the biggest problem is the front compartments not having gaskets if I don't open them to air out things get moldy
I bought the 2021 1775 adventure sport it didn't come with splash rails on the sides of the boat a real disappointment
This was a lot of fun! More videos like this please
Thank you! We plan on trying more camping videos soon.
Beautiful scenery! What drone do you use?
Thanks! We have a DJI mini 3 pro.
Always enjoy your videos today's was a good one
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it 😊
We only got baby perch there as well
There is some big Browns in there but no luck this time.
@@kenandtrishoutdoors we will go back in October and try there and twin
@KyleWard-tg2qq yeah the bite is much better in the fall!
This review perfectly answered every question I had. Now I know exactly which model and year to get. Thanks for being thorough!
Thank you glad you found it helpful!
Sounds very relaxing!
I have the same boat (2023) with the same 100HP Honda. What prop are you running and what height is your motor mounted at? I can only see 40mph in the very best of conditions. I am however loaded a little heavier than you. Thanks for the videos.
I have a Honda 13.25x17 prop now but have also tried the Honda 13x19
I'm running a Hustler prop 13.25 x 17 so pretty much same prop. If you pause the video where I'm talking about the drain plug you can see how the motor is mounted. For me to get 42 mph has to be calm water and less fuel in the boat. But i can hit 39 -40 most days.
Perfect, thank you! I'm getting almost 6800RPM WOT at 40mph
I still don’t understand how a 16 ft boat has storage for 8 ft rods but a 17 ft only had 7’6”
I hear ya, I would love 8ft storage!!
Nice fight for a little gaffer!
It's not the size that maters haha 😆
Lots of great information!!
Thank you!
Its a “Froggy” mornin’… trying to find a catch up on all the videos I missed
It was a great day of fishing!
Why you can't take muskie with you?
Most Musky lakes are catch and release only.
@@kenandtrishoutdoors darning want to keep muskie
@@kenandtrishoutdoors is there catch and keep muskie lakes in Ontario?
@@kenandtrishoutdoors that sucks you can't ever keep muskie or you will be fined?
Curious.. love fishing with bobber set up..very visual.. but what conditions need to be present for you to decide on that method of fishing?
Wind plays a big factor, too windy and it is very hard to use a bobber. A slight breeze is perfect gives your bait a natural movement
@kenandtrishoutdoors Thanks. I have used this set up for slow drifts where there's current. Consider it for Lake wpg when conditions are like how you describe above.
