So about $2,200 for everything? I'd rather get something like an ecoflow. Only 1k, and it can do 2,400 watts. Or for about the same price, you can get a 3,600 watt.
I feel the same way. Those batteries have the wrong chemistry for use with an inverter, except in a pinch. LFP chemistry has 6x the number of cycles. Using lithium ion just guarantees you’re springing for a new battery before you expect. If you aren’t carrying the weight, there’s little advantage to lithium ion batteries. @WorkshopAddict how would it have higher quality power?
Great review. I feel like you must have read my comment on the backpack blower review.
I did!
Makita makes great tools. If you’re in the system maybe. If your not, then there’s much better options out there

@saulgoodman2018 I think people would buy this is they already have the battery. Smaller investment and higher quality power.

@@WorkshopAddict Not that many tools uses this battery.
@@sswwooppee The ecoflow and Bluetti units I have tested have run a lower voltage under load.
@saulgoodman2018 All XGT and 18 X 2 tools can use this battery. Not practical, but....
