I did the exact same thing in my 94 pickup about a month ago. I sure felt stupid after doing it, but after changing all the fluids nothing seems to be damaged.
Yeah. I've gone through everything and been driving it and it seems to have made a full recovery. I'm glad yours did as well. My 2 way radio is working again. Both lith/ion batteries died and 1 caught fire. That was interesting.
I needed 2 new headlight relays and all is well.
