    The GS turned out to be the best bargain of the midsize luxury sedans. It’s far more reliable than any from the other side of the Atlantic and it is even better than the Infiniti G35 ( now Q50). The GS has the balance between price, luxury, technology, reliability and quality.

      Agreed! I bought my white on red 2016 GS350 F-Sport a year & a half ago & it's been absolutely amazing! It had 41k miles when I bought it for $28k (Original MSRP $58k). I really can't ask for a better car as of now & am probably gonna keep it for a very long time. It's my ultimate dream car for sure! I test drove a 2009 Infiniti G37 a decade ago & loved its style & performance which that car was my previous dream car, but couldn't afford one at the time, but prefer Lexus for their quiet ride, smoother engines, but still strong performance & of course most importantly their legendary long term reliability.

      @@lapulgaencuerayrabiosa9778 okay so i just got mine and i drive for work almost exclusively in the city and it is low key horrible lmao. i get 12mpg average. i step on it here and there but idk i feel like it’s way too low for the amount i do. i would say regardless go for it. it’s not gonna kill you and i literally have to fill up half a tank everyday and it’s honestly not the worst i just fill up when i’m half empty and pay around $40

    This is such a well made car that you could possibly pass it down to several generations of family members before it would finally die! Our GS350 has only visited the dealer once for warranty repair in the 100k miles that we have owned it. My German cars on the other hand have needed thousands in repairs well before 100k miles. From a quality standpoint our Lexus makes my Porsche and BMW look like a cheap Chinese toy.

      Deno Reed not bad.. how much for the 2013 model now?

    • @denoreed9514
      @denoreed9514 8 років тому +3

      Depends on the mileage and condition. Also depends what model you are trying to buy. The base model, luxury package or Fsport package. I bought the luxury package because I felt it suited my needs better and I still have the adaptable suspension. I paid $31,995 for my GS luxury package with 30,925 on the odometer last year January. It was a really good deal. The car was $61,000 brand new. But to answer your question the base models are usually around 23- 25 thousand the luxury is about 25- 30 thousand and the f sports tend to always hold a higher value so they usually go for 30- 37 thousand. If you buy from a lexus dealer the cost will be on the higher side because they refurbish the car. I bought mine from a porsche dealership.

    I am a long time hater of Lexus and Toyota for creating appliances rather than soulful machines. I test drove one of these new GS models other day, and it looks much better in person than in pictures/videos. It also has a gorgeous interior, far nicer than the BMWs and Mercedes (almost as good as Audi). With the trend I'm seeing BMW take towards making their cars more boring, this GS is a big step forward and drives just as well if not better than its german competitors.

    The BMW 5 series and Infiniti M class still perform much better and over all have better driving dynamics then Lexus but over all this was a drastic improvement from the previous generation GS. Lexus has always attracted a much older and boring demographic while Audi, Infiniti and BMW attracted a much younger clientele. Still this new GS has potential but not enough to lead in its class.

    Make a GS-F!
    Shoehorn the V10, brakes, and technology from the LFA.
    Then blow the doors off the M5!
