@shoelover10 I've never owned a Toyota and probably never will, the Hondas I've driven all my life have been far too reliable for me to consider any other brand. My experience with the Toyota brand is limited to the cars some of my family members have owned, all of those vehicles have been nearly flawless. Hell, my brother's girlfriend has an early '90s Camry with almost 300,000 miles on it and it's still a very nice car.
It’s funny people always want to knock Lexus but yeah if you look at the resale value those cars are almost triple the value as much as BMWs Mercedes and Audi so they definitely hold their value and you’ll see a lot more of those on the road German cars are garbage.
@TurboFuss1, Cheaper? You clearly know jack about this either. You talk about cheap as if it's substantial, when in fact, it's just a better of having a lower starting point while giving you more options. It still goes against your original statement, but I guess you now know you are wrong, and are baselessly claiming that it has sales because it's "cheap." The average A8 sold in 2012 has an MSRP of $93k. That means people are loading options on, and clearly avoiding the S-class!
@shoelover10 I've owned two 1st gen LS models, I bought this car intentionally after studying it and figured this was probably the best car I could get for the 2k I had to spend. I did end up selling it because the car is beyond solid, making it hard to find parts besides dealerships. I did come across a two parts outs, but they didn't like long for the reasons I just wrote. Second one I bought is close to mind condition and has everything working after 19 year, I do have some recent pictures.

If you beat That Lexus driver,Did you Tell him to not hit the gas pedal.Come on man,A Saturn Aura would not be at any car with 380 HP.Just Stop lying
@@DanielW-wz4gj Now that I think about it, the 2010 I beat was the ES350 which has I think 272hp.
@@SportsMusicCars yeah how did you time yourself, was it with a g tech because I fell into that mistake.Any g-tech reads optimistic, they read about a half to full second quicker than the actual car really is.I don't know if you used one of those devices but none of them are truly correct.. They are selling a product and they want you to believe in it
I don’t think that Lexus took John’s advice
Damn, granny's ride is pretty nice!
Yeah I have one and it kicks ass
@shoelover10 I've never owned a Toyota and probably never will, the Hondas I've driven all my life have been far too reliable for me to consider any other brand. My experience with the Toyota brand is limited to the cars some of my family members have owned, all of those vehicles have been nearly flawless. Hell, my brother's girlfriend has an early '90s Camry with almost 300,000 miles on it and it's still a very nice car.
Germany: lease
Lexus: Buy one
Beautiful.
@StuinthaHouse The ride is very good, but the handling (body roll) is what is lacking.
It’s funny people always want to knock Lexus but yeah if you look at the resale value those cars are almost triple the value as much as BMWs Mercedes and Audi so they definitely hold their value and you’ll see a lot more of those on the road German cars are garbage.
want this car soo fucking bad
Do you see as many Mercedes S class running on the road with 100,000+ miles?
I rest my case.
i will take the 2008 Lexus Ls460L AWD over any ither luxury sedan
Where"s the engine?
How in the world did the 2010 LS 460 do a zero to 60 in 6 seconds flat while the 2007 did it in 5.8 seconds ??? Motorweek needs some serious help!
@13slot28 I agree to service it you have to take all that plastic crap off.
The Only lexus buy ill be because of it size But I stil love lexus
@TurboFuss1, Cheaper? You clearly know jack about this either. You talk about cheap as if it's substantial, when in fact, it's just a better of having a lower starting point while giving you more options. It still goes against your original statement, but I guess you now know you are wrong, and are baselessly claiming that it has sales because it's "cheap." The average A8 sold in 2012 has an MSRP of $93k. That means people are loading options on, and clearly avoiding the S-class!
@seroyer2 thats why its so quiet!
I saw zero nose dive on that braking test.
NICE COOL MotorWeek Road Test: 2010 Lexus LS-460 Sport
@shoelover10 I've owned two 1st gen LS models, I bought this car intentionally after studying it and figured this was probably the best car I could get for the 2k I had to spend. I did end up selling it because the car is beyond solid, making it hard to find parts besides dealerships. I did come across a two parts outs, but they didn't like long for the reasons I just wrote. Second one I bought is close to mind condition and has everything working after 19 year, I do have some recent pictures.
I dont like how they cover everything up in the engine bay. They should let us see the engineering!
At 4:08 to 4:15, "but even with plenty of nose drive..." - there is hardly any nose dive actually. LOL
one of the best voice
Just like how American car companies neglected on building accomodating interiors for decades how come the upscale Asian car companies neglect on building elegant exteriors like their German competition?
Lmao, Lexus needs to ignore this review like it’s a text from its weed dealer.
R.I.P Crown Majesta
You could have a picnic in that engine bay.
wow 74k? I can think of lots of other sedans I'd rather have
@shoelover10 This series is one of the most recognized and has won the most JD Power awards even though Lexus has hasn't existed as long as its direct competition. So if this shit then the everything else is less then shit, so your not helping whatever brand you favor.
COOL MotorWeek Road Test: 2010 Lexus LS-460 Sport
@seroyer2 I would have to agree on the plastic....For almost 75k It is not worth it. Lose all the extra plastic to hide problems and leaks and the car may drop to under 25k..Lexus is nice but not the price...
@shoelover10 Your forgot to capitalize Toyota in the first post you're initial post and POS is not a real word just a slang acronym. Also, I believe the correct wording would be "learn to speak in English" so don't even try that shit with me if you're not going to fully commit and just Nazi to seem more intelligent over the internet.
I'm not looking to discuss further with you if you just want to pull the "Well its my opinion" line, but I feel opinions should be based on personal experience.
Strange how the old GS 400 could hit 0-60 in 5.7 sec w/less horsepower & displacement.
Dennis Tucker wasn't the GS lighter though?
@@SuperFrankieOSXdefinitely was
Too soon junior!
I think the 2006 Lexus LS 430 looks more luxury and better made than this one
@justanotheraccounton or "F"
@sidthekid2009 Yeah that looks weird nothing pretty about that!
@shoelover10 you don't mean that.
you have freedom of speech, but not freedom to spam up a comment section where others could benefit from having intelligent conversation that could potentially help others. your arguing is doing nothing of the sort.
if you guys really want to have your bothersome argument, do everyone else a favor and send each other personal messages. you two are arguing about grammar on a car review. i'm sorry, but you cannot justify that.
Sting like a Beemer really so I can compare to BMW I don't know about that
