I mean you technically are, if we don't count death. So basically you could protect against most low caliber rounds, maybe medium-ish rifle rounds at a distance. The more fat, the more slowness to bullets landed basically. your torso has a shit ton of organs so it'd slow it the most (basically the strongest part). for the most slowing/stopping potential, you'd have to lay down and get shot from your foot all the way to around your torso. So you are bullet proof enough, it's just you won't live to tell the tale.

Yeah though most of it is made for the US/Western European market for low budget home defense or airsoft, AR500 is not that usefull in modern combat scenarios, just look at Ukraine, seen a lot of dead ukrainians with plate carriers, the 7.62 API and 5.45 7N40 with the tungsten carbide penetrator the russians and ukrainians have, punches right through steel plates, ceramic is the way to go for that.
@@Sergiblacklist API (armour pearcing incendiary) has a chemical tip in front of the penetrator, it literally melts through steel. This round has been produced by russia & china since the 60's, they have newer ones with tungsten penetrators, those will go through too. Ceramic is not influenced by chemical rounds and is generally thicker, more resistant, the downside being it is heavy, way more expensive and if hit by rifle caliber it usually gets damaged beyond being useful. While I love the montages, there are a few things I've noticed. 1: The Entity who determines when The Range Montage is giving me Malfegor flavor text feelings. "A demon cannot be trusted, and a dragon will not be ruled." You never know when it will strike, you can't control it, it just happens on its own timeline. 2: I'm noticing a distinct lack of hard rock or metal music in the montages. I do not wish to incur the wrath of The Entity, not do I hope to control it, but if you could pass the message on, that would be nice. I am contractually obligated to state the following: Canadian viewers must know what bullets hockey pucks can stop.
Those Kel-Tecs folding SMGs have always seemed like a joke or gimmick gun, but that integrally suppressed model is actually really cool. Reminds me of something an OSS agent might've had in WW2.
I really like your keltech guns. They're new and weird designs, I love the built in suppression on the new one. Folding and suppressed, hitman style ;)

I always skip the sponsors except when it's matt!
I actually bought some of the other armor plates that survived in the other videos, great Xmas gift for the father in law, plus I got a set of the soft plates that were effective as well for pretty cheap.
@@remy5405 that's a hundred percent what I said earlier. I totally agree! You can probably order two vests at the exact same time , and get two different versions. With two completely different ratings
@@remy5405 fortunately I ended picking up a few plates from AR500 as well for my own kit.
@@ashleysanford8645 nah these are machine made nowadays, so if the plates are from the same manufacturing facility then they'll all be the same (either good or bad)
This man never disappoints with his intros
Matt, that intro was so simple but soo hilarious🤣
Geez there’s a lot of bots
Wish is basically the epitome of "if it's too good to be true, then it probably is." You get what you pay for, folks. Don't cheap out, ESPECIALLY not on body armor.
Oh yes, my favourite series.
Do part 4 please
I haven't had internet in a while and it sure feels good to be watching again. That gun is amazing
When the new gun was folded it looked like a rocketlauncher😂😂😂
As a fellow Canadian viewer I have always been curious about that. But I feel like they'd be really brittle
Those Kel-Tecs folding SMGs have always seemed like a joke or gimmick gun, but that integrally suppressed model is actually really cool. Reminds me of something an OSS agent might've had in WW2.
SMG's are automatic weapons. All Kel-Tec guns are semi auto.
Hope you still manage to have quality time with the family Matt and I appreciate the content dude
I really like your keltech guns. They're new and weird designs, I love the built in suppression on the new one. Folding and suppressed, hitman style ;)
I'm also a big fan of KelTec and own a few of their products. I will say their shotguns kick like a horse. The KSG will leave me bruised for a few days if I shoot it a lot. Never fired a KS7 like Matt's got, but they look super painful.
It would’ve been funnier if they did the sign while you were on the ground Matt 😂
I was expecting that 😣
I love it when Mere participates in your intro antics
favorite intro ever. finished the whole video and still chuckling at it
I always love these Wish videos, especially the armor with a paragraph of specs
The four payments of 1 dollar, had me lol 😆😂
New subscriber here! I ended up finding you when i was researching beginner pistols (for home defense), and i ended up at this video. You're hilarious! Keep up the great work!
Heck yes! I always wanted my gloves to be
*bulletproof
*cartridge proof
*literal explosion proof
AND MUCH MORE
👌gotti
At this point we are all just finding Matt’s crazy gun obsession, and I live it.
Let's take a moment to appreciate that he got all of us too... this is in the top 10 intros now..
These are the only gun videos on UA-cam that I watch. Keep it up!
You should check out Kentucky Ballistics at least. Scott is great.
you forgot to test them with .44 magnum, to see if they are fully pistol protected
Yeah I was kinda hoping he'd do that. Soon as he said rifle I was like oh cool he's gonna use a 44 lever... nope, right to the 5.56 which was obviously going to smoke through both.
I like the fact that you got the ladies more involved!
Agreed, they are gorgeous as hell
@@iamReddington the dudes winning in life.
14:10 i love how we can see all the rounds hitting the dirt, then he goes up to see if they went through lmao
Thanks for participatetion and comment,♥️
you have been randomly selected
among winer's for today hit me up🔝🔝🔝to claim your reward 📦📦📦
@aqil Wow you are smart, how did you think of that??
@Hunter W
How hard do you have to try to be an a-hole?
he might have missed. also he wanted to see where the rounds hit the glove
It’s funny to see that it’s been a couple years and Matt still hasn’t changed
Matt’s new gun with subsonic rounds actually sounds like suppressed weapons in movies and video games.
its like i just threw a suppressor on my mp5 in cod
Ask Who Tee Who about his jeep give away that matt cheated him on it and took parts off of before delivery
@@KennyBeckler239 Matt had nothing to do with that. Matt bought a truck from the guy who gave the truck away.
I tested some cheap Amazon armor and it worked very good. I also do the you looked all the time lol
Absolutely loves these wish videos!
Can you build the ugliest rifle with only wish products if you have not done so already?🤓
Me after whatching the intoduction,
You are sick man... And i love it!!
Hello there 👋👋,how are you doing today?hope you’re having a good day God bless you
0:05 i havent seen that for a couple years my classmate does it to me at school and now you do it like 2 hours later
The Kel Tec shotgun for some reason reminds me of like Colonial Marines weaponary. It just has that look to it.
You should see how far bullets get through bulletproof stuff at different ranges…? Like put that visor on your long range target and see if it stops the 556?? It’s an idea
love the intro as always
I wonder if any low-budget films have ever used wish to outfit soldiers, cause these are visually spot-on, if not always rated for what they say.
Can't see why they would. Most of them aren't even good prices for what you're getting
@@MrEsphoenix I mean, it's cheaper than the real gear. If you have an actual film budget and aren't just a college student, a few hundred bucks for a full military/SWAT-style loadout is pretty good.
@@purpleYamask but you can get that through somewhere more reliable like eBay or gear best and you've not got a 50% chance you'll be screwed over. The two that didn't work where cheap airsoft gear, and the two that did where just normal priced introductory gear.
The intros are the funniest 😂 🤣
I been waiting on a part 3 😂🔥
Absolutely great stuff as usual I really like that silenced whatever it was SBR silenced thing
Matt is the sole reason these people are still in business 🤣🤣
Kel-tec never fails to make ugly yet very functional guns. xD
Modern take on those old open bolt stamped smgs.
The epitome of "Don't judge a book by it's cover"
My S2k broke first time I used it.
@@R3D_Lantern define "broke"
The plastic piece that allowed the gun to fold in half cracked in like four places and it began to not cycle rounds properly.
I always enjoy your intros but this one had me dying laughing 🤣
What did that sign mean he had made in the intro
The vest protects everything except the hart❤😂
