Awe that's so nice to hear! Funny enough I'm brainstorming a potential cookbook project as we speak :) Trying to decide on what the focus should be? Can I ask your opinion? And anyone else out there who wants to chime in! Ha! I always thought it would be fun to do a year's worth of these menus, so yes the big holidays but then also include things like Baby/Bridal Shower, Book Club Meeting, Weeknight Dinner Party, Summer Drinks etc. But interestingly enough publishers have told me that entertaining books like this don't sell well. I get that Everyday recipes are probably more approachable for people and I could do that too, but you guys know how much I love the "Special Occassion Food" ha! And the ability to take the stress out of these special occasions by loading it all up with tips, the game plans, shopping lists etc. Or there's another idea of creating a book around the top 75 dishes that everyone should know how to make? My Foolproof recipes for things like a great blueberry muffin, Fried Chicken, a fluffy pancake etc? Anyway, just thought I'd poll the community to see what you all thought? It will be your book as much as mine! LOL! xoox Beth
Entertaining With Beth Liebe Beth!!! Dear Beth, I have goosebumps and I'm so moved, flattered that you ask 'my' opinion 😱 and the whole community, you're really the best!!!! Those book editors/publishers know nothing! lol 😂 but as much as we know and enjoy your vids and wonderful tips and all, we must also remember this IS your business, your full time job now, so it has to be profitable, but really out of joking, I think the publishers should know that we all have at least one gathering/celebration a year, and we want to know How to! I had a friend she would always throw big and elaborated parties, not me, but when my family or a few friends (max 6 ppl) visit, we know we want to really enjoy the occasion and that definitely includes food, drinks and everything else you have in your wonderful channel, so for me, either 6 or 30 ppl, you should know how to do it... I guess a combination of all what you mention, easy and elaborated recipes and those 'must's like the American style pancakes 💟 and please, you have to include holidays' specials!!! Oh gwad, I also have so many ideas for requests, I should think more and come back to you. Beth!!! I'm so excited!!! 😍🙌🙌🙌 keep up your wonderful work! Much love and admiration from Switzerland 💟💕
Hello Beth ! I am writing to you from France and I love your recipes : they are all both elegant and quite simple to make. Your channel is being a life savior for me :) I would agree with NinaB Catherine on the menus. I think there are more challenging that everyday meals and your game plans are so, so helpful. Plus you always have the best pairing ideas in terms of flavors and side dishes. Personally, I know I would just love having such a book. I like to throw parties and to invite my parents or in-laws but when you are young these things can be a little intimidating and so far, your online menus never failed to help me :) but of course this is a very selfish answer, looking at my best interest for sure :) anyway, thank you for this menu and for all the beautiful work you have been doing. Your videos are always like a beam of sunshine in the course of the week :)
Hi Beth! I'm from Toronto, Canada and have been watching your videos FOREVER. I think the first question is, who is your target audience (ie. beginners or regular cooks?). Personally, I would love the 'menu' style book because I know it's something I could see myself doing since I cook a lot. I love the additional tips like what can be made beforehand, etc. But that may be intimidating to those who are just starting out. When I try your recipes, I usually just have my laptop with me in the kitchen and pause/play your videos. For some of the more lengthier/complicated recipes (like the menu style ones) I'll usually have your site open so I can go through the directions in more detail so a book would be handy! It's nice on youtube because we're just browsing around and sometimes not necessarily looking for anything but end up watching whatever content comes up on the sidebar. Canadian thanksgiving was a month ago yet here I am still watching this LOL. With a book, people have to intentionally want to read your recipes so creating the content is more tough. Could you maybe do a mix of everyday recipes + menus? Not sure if cookbooks can have dual focus (or if sales stats prove otherwise!) but just a thought :) I love your channel and can't wait to see where you take it!

Ms. Beth..God only knows how I survived all these past years without you on Thanksgiving !! These recipes and the entire menu will be on my table this year...all of them, along with that other incredible apple pie!! And since I was so motivated, I went and I purchased several of the products that you recommended. The herb stripper, that wonderful garlic press, the thermometer and so much more... I tell you that you are definitely an angel in disguise.👼👼

Dressing has been the one item I serve at Thanksgiving that has been passed up for a second serving. I have been struggling to find a recipe that is a hit with my family. I served your leek and mushroom pudding this year and for the very first time, my grandson requested some dressing be included in the package of leftovers I send home with him each year. Success! I just wanted to tell you crazy appreciated you are by me , all the way in Germany.
I'm a vegan , so most of your recipes are just for inspiration, but I still love every second of them.
I've watched you for years now and seem to never get tired .

I watch her to get inspiration's also :) I'm vegetarian. I follow her recipes but exchange for vegan meats, gluten free flours, & so on... You get the idea. Can't stand vegan cheeses so i still eat cheese & eggs but i do use a lot of almond milk (less carbs) instead of regular milk
I really enjoyed this menu, it's all the same core elements (turkey, potatoes,vegetables, apple pie) but with a very refreshing twist. Guests will be impressed of the innovating presentation of a traditional meal. Thank you for the inspiration!

Hey love your channel! I'm French, and I just made a non-traditional gratin dauphinois, with half potato and half celery root, but also half Parmesan and half emmental on top ! It was very good ! And if not I think a bit of nutmeg mixed in the cream and milk gives it a bit more depth !

Thank you for the family and Friends Thanksgiving Menu. This year after cooking a traditional Thanksgiving menu. I was more than willing to move forward with an easy prepare ahead delicious menu for Christmas allowing me to enjoy more time with family and less time in the kitchen. This menu provided an excellent opportunity to do just that.... Even the egg casserole with cottage cheese was a hit with the kids this recipe was a different video.

YAY!! Long videos are back!! I love these full menus with drink, starters, main course, desserts and organisation tips. They are the best thing for us anxious people so that we know exactly what to do every step of the way and everything goes perfectly with everything else, so we don't have to worry about that either :P
