Everybody does Rings. It’s a great track. I love it. but he has tons of “accessible” songs that nobody covers. Never seen anybody react to The Harbor Is Yours, for example, or Racing Stripes, and only one or two for Ruby or No Regrets, none for Fryerstarter which is just the world’s most epic yelp review for a donut shop. There’s so much variety people could be picking from to stand out.

It's not too accessible like long leg Larry, or dog at the door, it has depth but you don't really need lyrics like you definitely would with say fryerstarter. I want more diverse reactions also so agreed 💯, but I want people to immediately know why they should be looking for that stuff. Rings has created a bunch of new aseop fans for being easier lyrically, in narrative, and even sonically without being intentionally shallow, like say Kirby.

both songs in my Top 10 Aesop tracks for 5+ years & i got a Top 50 Aesop Tracks soooo wish there were official lyrics to either one BUT even tho many lines i have many guesses as to what they could really be, stil in my top 10 cuz each guess is a dope option
