This one is music Aes wrote for a video game called Freedom Finger. There's gameplay featured in the video. Aesop's Freedom Finger EP included three tracks, plus the instrumentals, and extra beats. All beats produced by Aesop, with additional instrumentation by Grimace Federation. If you want a cool Aesop Rock remix of a Grimace Federation instrumental, check out the video for BOSICO (Butchered by Aesop Rock). Amazing track, often slept on.
Aesop is the undisputed GOAT. and his catalogue is ENDLESS. There are literally hundreds of songs you could react to. This is a very good entry level song for him its very catchy especially if youre into beats. The other songs ive seen suggested on this comment section are all excellent songs but id say theyre probably a little more for aesop veterans and you should probably finish the intro class before you go to the advanced class. Also normally i dont even comment on videos but this is one of the best most authentic reactions ive seen and i would love to see more so imma go snatch some links and drop em back here if you ever feel frisky enough to check em out
I agree, this is a good intro track but, I'm curious to know what other songs you'd consider starting off with. Anything on Bazooka Tooth is for vets, I'd say 😂
@@losxdescabezadosI feel like The Impossible Kid is a pretty good intro album. Everything on there is fairly straightforward, still gets into deep shit and has dope wordplay though.
I like when people get to hear this man for the first time. You should do "The Harbor is Yours" off None Shall Pass. Not only is he a dope rapper, his s tory telling ability is nuts
If so, he should also check out Fish Tales, which is basically a prototype or earlier alternate version of The Harbor Is Yours. That's why The Harbor Is Yours starts with Aesop yelling 'reeemix!'
He was born at the beginning and the end is his death. I cant think of anyone who mastered their craft when it was known as a hobby and when it became more than a hobby he never changed. He is the peak everyone chases
Aesop Rock is peerless as a rapper but has also producing himself for a long time now too. Check out 'Shrunk' from an earlier album but also with video game theme and one of his best tracks IMO - a bit more easy to understand lyrically too.
It is absolutely insane that Aesop’s biggest reaction channel has less than 2k subs. Like holy shit, I wonder if this dude even realizes that when the trend hits for Aesop reactions this channel’s gonna be a goldmine. And I’m fucking here for it let’s goooo. It’s inevitable because the larger reaction channels are starting to run out of Eminem material lol and NO I’m not putting Em and Aes in the same league. It’s honestly not even close and I love Eminem.
Here for any and all Aesop Rock reactions. The lyrical GOAT.
Finally Aesop getting views no rocky
Nobody better than Aes. Been listening to him for 20 years and no one has come close.
Same. Since '02

I will definitely check it out! Thank you for your comment and suggestion!

@@losxdescabezadosstart from the start! Appleseed. Then run through his whole discog 😂
I would love to hear more! Please feel free to give me some good suggestions. Thank you for your comment; you're awesome!

Throw your... babies... in the air!
No Regrets, Long Legged Larry, and Aggressive Steven are probably his most accessible storytelling songs.
Will do! Thank you for the comment and suggestion!
Aesop and Atmosphere are the Rhyme Sayer LEGENDS.
Rhymesayers has a stacked stable of talent! They lost a weight when Prof left.
Too dope for regular human composition!
Aesop Rock is the one
Aesop Rock all day, he is always teaching a masterclass in lyrical abilities
Aggressive Steven is a fun one for those new to Aesop Rock. Another great artist that is sort of in the same lane is Sa Roc, a fantastic female MC.
This song is great, but maybe low in the top 50-100 range of favorites. You've got a long journey ahead of you.
I am very excited! Thank you for your comment!
Yep, as amazing as this song is with the beats and lyrics, it's pretty average A-Rock.
❤ I love this song. Thanks for the reaction!

The tracks on his 2020 album have a similar feel. Do a full album reaction to Spirit World Field Guide
SWFG doesn't have a single bad track. Wall-to-wall bangers front to back!

That beat go _ding ding ding ding ding ding BOOM_
Play Dead from Freedom Finger is another fantastic piece.
The best to ever do it.
Love me an Aes reaction! I would recommend a trilogy of songs that are in order from his Impossible Kid album:
Get out of the car
Shrunk
Kirby
Zero Dark Thirty
@ShellyReacts more Aesop and Atmosphere
Double dippin. Thx mang
Beastie Boys -Intergalactic
remember he just threw this out for a video game hahaha
It is a game.Freedom Finger. Look it up.
Man if your just now getting started with Aes ye have much to learn. try ou battery from labor days album. or hold the cup from the float album.
Hold The Cup is from Appleseed.
And guess who made the beat?
if you have steam check out the freedom finger soundtrack. yes this is a game.
