I have found no matter what canvas I'm working on, it's the vibrance of the colors that seems to most determine my enjoyment level. I would love doing Jasper Sea, I'm sure. It's one of the reasons that I love doing Spanglers. And I've finally learned after four and a half years of DP'ing that that is how I should decide what kits to purchase. As always, love your videos.
@@susandoty8241 I’d never really thought about it, but I am drawn to more colorful kits. While I can appreciate the beauty of the darker, monochrome, gothic type kits, they just aren’t appealing to me to work on. I just put it down to eye strain with all the dark colors! Thanks for watching!!

Perhaps the reason you enjoyed this so much is the vibrant color pallet. I personally will multiplace dark colors as much as possible to get to the prettier, brighter, “happy” colors. Cool finish! I love the addition of the ABs.

@DiamondPaintingAnonymous Sooo true! I did a little w/AB's on the bow tie & glasses (#dpforpets2024) on my Hipster Boston Terrier. And I'm also currently working on a Baby Yoda that I've done some on the face & hands so far! 👍😁 And it does make them more my own, even when I give them as a 🎁 gift. I also just bought some neon/glow in the dark drills to use for an upcoming event #OzinAug2024 w/Shay...Follow the yellow brick road!

@@dhruts_shah I normally just store them in portfolios, which I’ve done a video on. But since I’m having to pack them for the move, I’ve had to get a bit creative!!

So glad you loved it. I'm not a fan of it as such. I mean it's pretty but it isn't me. It would be boring if we were all the same. I think that red section is a bit too much. I would personally buy some AB's or fairy dust so it's more even if that makes sense. Can't wait to see your next diamond painting.😊❤

How do you store your extra drills? Do you do them by company? So far I have same numbers, but some colors are off or different. What do you do with that?
@@trishwilliams3393 I generally just put all the same DMC leftovers in the same bag. Drills from different kits can have different dye lots for the same DMC, even within the same company. Some people keep them all separate - it’s just personal preference.
