☺️ if you are aware of their games, then absolutely they are not skilled enough 😘☺️☺️☺️ When I went through this, I wanted to believe the best and that was where my Blindspot was it didn’t take me long to remove that Blindspot but it hurt me a bit. I’m glad that you see them and you see what they’re doing. There’s no better preparation than that.
This was powerful to listen to. I parted ways from their affiliate program last month. I couldn’t believe the conversations that I saw in our private discord. Something felt off for a long time and I’m glad I listened to my instincts and walked away. I appreciate hearing your perspective and encouragement here. Sending love 🫶🏼
Hi Zoey, I’m so glad that you left! Some of my emails were shared out of context and out of order in the affiliate Discord to paint me as an extortionist. I am a former customer who’d never in a million years want my account back. DAC has now filed a libel lawsuit against me because I wouldn’t delete posts they didn’t like. They’ve done some illegal things and I’ll be counter suing. They stalked me in Reddit and figured out my identity. It’s insane behavior from a very unprofessional business.
As a small business owner I completely understand the little shop struggle. I personally have been looking into small companies now that I know the bad side of DP. Still new into this adventure. I see all the people trashing small shops and it’s so sad. Thank you for being real 🧡
There’s room for so many different companies in the diamond painting world. It’s sad that a monopoly is trying to be created. All this drama has made me not want to show certain companies on my channel, and to focus on spotlighting the smaller businesses to give them some exposure. I might only have 1200 subs but everyone that decides to take a chance on a small shop because I inspired them makes me more determined to continue on that path.
Yes. I made a decision 2 months ago not to buy DAC for a different reason. I purchased a The Silver Husky Dog on a restock. A passion project. It wasn’t new stock. I realized when I received it for several reasons. Then, the issue with Hannah Lynn. Finally, the obvious copy of Elizabeth Ward storage sold as their original storage. There are beautiful images and better quality canvases out here. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I agree with you completely and nothing you said here surprises me . . . It’s the DAC I’ve always knew. I hope people really try to support Hannah Lynn and see the suffering that DAC has caused so many others.
Thank you so much for putting out this video. I have been following this situation and have not actually dealt a whole lot with DAC for a while because I just didn't like their business practices that I have encountered in the past. This video was straightforward and very much appreciated. Myself, I stopped watching affiliate videos because they all seem very honest everything's just a little bit too perfect and not believable
Thank you for your comment . . . DAC has definitely made a name for themselves and I don’t think this is what they had in mind but this is what happens to companies when all they see is dollar signs, becoming ruthless, without ethics and morals. DAC is truly what makes up the toxicity that unfortunately exists within the diamond painting community.
I have been very unhappy with DAC for a while now. Mainly because they have become very sneaky about which of their paintings are AI. I am against purchasing AI artwork at all, based on what I have learned about AI art. And DAC has been very sneaky about not listing which of their 'artists' use AI. This just solidifies my decision to stop purchasing from them any longer. Thank you for this video!
You should not fear losing anything. I have been following all of this watch many creators and follow many shops. I just think overall I’m so disappointed in a lot of this because there is so much room for many shops and artists. It’s just horrendous. That this is the business practice they want. And they should never own an artists work. Or any part of it. You keep your own stuff going.. I follow another shop closely that they have affected and they are doing great and I am so glad they are. But it has been a battle for them. As well it sounds like for yourself. There is so much room in the pond for multiple options for purchasing. The more they realize to join the community rather than snuff it out is the way to go.
Oh my gosh . . . I agree with YOU! And Im so happy to hear that they are doing great!!!! Yes!!! You said it best here in your comment . . ."there is so much room in the pond for multiple options for purchasing. The more they realize to join the community rather than snuff it out is the way to go" . . . Absolutely!! 😊💕
Oh my! I really love the canvases you have shown recently and want to be able to purchase from you - eventually. I see the care that you put into your products. I am aware of the issue with DAC. While I have my fair share of canvases from them, I find that I prefer art from the smaller companies. I am particularly saddened by the ones I am aware of that have closed their doors that I have purchased from. Thank you for your insight.
Hey, girl! I think this is you...I was just commenting on another post last week about UA-cam Diamond Painting bullies and how I had watched some of my favorite UA-camrs bully a diamond painter off her channel. And I think that was you. If that was not you, my apologies for my incorrect assumption. But if that WAS you (and no confirmation or validation necessary) -- girl WELCOME BACK!!!! It's so good to see you! Subscribed.
You are absolutely right about the way the Chinese operate because as a jewelry maker, I saw them copying the work of others. The most blatant was their copying of the designs of the Hill Tribe in Thailand. Silver components are their livelihood and the Chinese are cutting into their profits with their cheap imitations. The most unbelievable example of what they do is when a woman traveling through a small town in China was surprised to see an Apple store. The sign looked off to her but the interior looked authentic - until she looked more closely and realized the tables were cheap imitations and so were the employees’ uniforms. Sadly, it appears that the ethics of Chinese culture are much different than that of Western cultures. Subscribed 🙂
Ooooh, I started on “The Wheel of Holy Fire”, so seeing her other painting coming to life is exciting! Of course, I drooled over the bags of drills when I first received the kit but seeing the drills on the canvas makes them look even better! Well said about what DAC is doing to Hannah Lynn; my heart broke reading her post and I had to read it a couple of times to let everything sink in. Then add on that your history with them and it really starts to sour the feelings against DAC. Besides, I’m kinda a small shop gal anyway. 😉
Oh Yes The Wheel Of Holy Fire is so colorful, lots of colors going on there and her eyes! and cheeks!!! The Lady of Transformation is coming along and she is oh so warm, and golden . . . um can't wait to get her done as well. I loved that I had these made big to capture everything and to bring it more presence but geesh it does take a bit to get them done. Trying to get them done to show everyone who have bought, as I know most will not get to it right away, and also for those who may be leaning on the fence, and show that is coming up in September. Was August but decided to participate in one that is much closer to fall. Im so glad you like the smaller shops. Things might take a while, but the paintings are done right, quality control is usually the owner of the business, so no better than that, and packing is done by owners as well so again perfection is a must. Customer Service is usually by owner too. Theres beni's to being small 😊business I hope your doing well Chris! Youre an inspiration to me . . . glad you are here!
I am affiliated with Art and Soul as well as Lazy River Crafts and I can say with absolute certainty that I LOVE their products and the artists they support. I am looking for even more companies to work with so I can show more on my channel. I WAS a DAC affiliate for a minute but not anymore. I'm not ready to share my story but I may get there. I really hope that you grow and grow. When I can afford it my plan is to buy one of your paintings as well to show on my channel. I still show DAC but that will eventually stop. I don't goo all over it except to show the artists work. Once things pick up with Art and Soul and Lazy River Crafts I will have content without them.
Diamond painting is so much fun that should be enjoyed by everyone! Both as a business or simply as an enthusiast. Monopolies are not & will never be cool imho.
I just used the last of my points on two of the pics this released. But the past 6 or so months I have stopped buying every week. And I don’t really buy at all anymore. I’m tired of their fomo selling. But now that my points are done I’m taking a break to see what’s going on with Hannah. I feel so bad for her.
Me too . . . It’s completely unfair, but just like DAC . . . They try to win by spreading rumors, harassing, triangulating but unfortunately for them this is a legal issue, or so they hope it is and no matter what they say, no matter what they do there are laws in place, and despite their opinion, harassment, etc., the law wins out. They truly do act like spoiled children. Always have and that’s how they run their business too.
First time checking out your channel...loved the honesty & transparency. 👍😁💎 Someone should write a book about this nightmare of a company!🎉🎉🎉 I subscribed!
Hi from reading the comments alone it sounds like youve had a tough time and need some comfort and love i send you a ton of virtual hugs your way and shall watch the video in a few hours at a better time for me takecare of yourself xxx
@DiamondsOnCanvas thank you so sorry about my terrible spelling before I have rectified it now and I've also watched the video I'm a person who gets so upset at any mean stuff going on and your video made me tear up for what you and others have gone through shame on dac for what they have done and doing and shame on the horrific actions of the affiliates that's bullying disgusting bullying and ruining people's business and livelihoods is shocking it truly is I hope hannah lynn and you and others will be OK I always say I may not have much but I have morals and i stand by them shame on diamond art disgusting heartbreaking behavior love to you and all that have been affected by their behaviour xxx
Could you please tell me which painting you are interested in? I do have two paintings from artist Shiloh still available. One is called The Holy Wheel Of Fire and the other one is called The Lady Of Transformation. Unless you are interested in one of the pallets, please let me know and I can help you with that as well. If you want to be placed on the pre-purchase list for the harvest pallet please email me your name and I will get you on that list and it will save you a kit. Here is, my email address and thank you so much! Diamondsoncanvashealingthrough@gmail.com
What blew my mind was when YT creator Diamonds and Thoughts had the courage to post a series of videos about this, and most people applauded and supported her effort to bring these issues to the forefront, but another popular creator practically mocked her video and was very condescending in asking “Why”? And then joked about it in her WIP and chat. Why throw other creators under the bus like that? They are pretty much calling themselves out at this point
Yep yep and yep . . . I know what you’re saying and completely agree with you. Yes you know who is who and it’s very easy now to tell. Yep! Perfect comment 🤗
@@DiamondsOnCanvas I am commenting at the risk of sounding like an idiot to anyone who reads this. I will be 63 years old in September. I began my SECOND venture into Diamond painting maybe 6 weeks ago. My first purchase from DAC was in June 2019. I began before that with partials from Amazon and Michael’s until, through the help of UA-camrs, I found other shops. I started with partials and still prefer partials. I do not have a favorite artist. I like what I like and that varies greatly. I 100% believe artists should be paid for and get full credit for their work. I also believe that if anyone enters into any kind of contract involving being paid, you better get a lawyer to make sure EVERYTHING is on the up and up. Because I had not been diamond painting for a while, I had no idea all of this drama was going on with DAC. Are they my favorite company? Absolutely not. I don’t have a favorite company either. I watched the first video done by Diamonds and Thoughts. The more she got into it, the more I thought she better be careful or she just might get herself in hot water. Even though she stated that it was all opinion and for “entertainment value only”. I see absolutely nothing entertaining about commenting on someone’s legal issues, none whatsoever. I also watched the video of the other creator who simply asked “Why?”. She didn’t throw anyone under the bus. I didn’t see it as a loaded question, or a snarky remark, or tearing anyone down or even joking or poking fun at someone. Personally my comment/question would have been “Really??” As in why are you “really” going into this. While she may have all of the “receipts “, “the tea”, copies of emails or whatever it is referred to now….there is no way I would add my two cents. She was adding her own commentary, when I feel that she didn’t know what she was talking about. She called herself a stay at home mom who has “thoughts” about things. Well I was a stay at home mom with four boys for years and now an empty nester married almost 44 years getting ready to retire who has A LOT OF THOUGHTS, OPINIONS AND SUBJECTS THAT I WILL FLAT GET ON A SOAPBOX ABOUT. But a subject that I don’t have enough knowledge about to make a series of videos based on texts, emails etc and at the same time proclaiming that it is “for entertainment purposes only “. I say baloney. I think it was to stir the proverbial pot and to get views on her channel. She came across (to me) as someone speaking with knowledge on the subject. Nope, she’s a housewife and stay at home mom…..one of the toughest and under appreciated jobs in the world. I watched her other two videos just out of sheer curiosity. Unbelievable, just plain unbelievable.
I support companies and artists...if I like the artwork....however there are a lot of people who can't afford DAC or other big companies....One thing I will not tolerate is a company telling who I can and cannot buy diamond paintings from regardless licensed or not... I don't tolerate bullies and no one should....Buy and do what makes you happy....DAC doesn't own this craft....
I think there is a big piece of information missing here. I do stand with hannah lynn and I have bought from art and soul butt... here is where it's really gray. Hannah lynn didn't pay to have the hand rendering done. Diamond art club did. So to take one's art to another company I am all for. But should DAC pay for the rendering for other companies to use? And to say a company is not liable for unknowingly picking pictures is still wrong. Honestly China probably used sweatshop to produce it. I stand for both not everything is black and white. It's not right for an artist to take the rendering and use that. If the other company wants to take the art and render it themselves then I definitely stand with the artist.
Good comment! Hannah Lynn approved of that rendering of her artwork and that makes it her piece, including any and all renderings and alterations to that piece. The mere fact that she is in contract with them to sell her paintings is an “expressed agreement” that what they are selling Hannah approves of, and if Hannah approves of her artwork being rendered and altered, which she did, then it is her artwork and she can do what she wills with it. Rendering and altering is all part of making artwork into diamond paintings. It’s just a byproduct of producing and processing artwork into diamond paintings. Believe me in the contract Diamond Art Club was fully aware that all renderings and alterations of any artist artwork is the artist through and through, without ceasing and without end. I’m in this business and paying for those renderings is all part of it and that is what makes a good diamond painting company. But that does not make it my rendering and it does not make it my alteration as in possessing it. It is not mine. It is the artist, because without that painting, a rendering or an alteration would be moot. I loved your comment 🤔☺️Very good. I love the follow through 🙂🙂🙂
@DiamondsOnCanvas I would like to start out by saying I appreciate your response. I think respectful responses is a dying art form sadly. With that said I am not a lawyer so this will get all shaked out. I can however see both sides. While yes any alterations would have to be approved by the artist and the artist should keep the rights to it. DAC made the rendering. If she had handed over the art and these new companies had rendered it themselves making it more of there own alterations, then I don't think DAC would have a leg to stand on. But that's not what happened. Even the placement of special drills are almost spot on to what DAC did. The question is would her diamond paintings be as popular without DAC? Cause what is to stop an artist from having DAC do all the work make them well known and then go off somewhere else? Idk the right answer but I am kinda think both parties aren't on the up and up and it's very gray. I appreciate your insight. It's very interesting.
I will probably have more to say but @5:52 you said (paraphrasing) “they made a name for themselves by saying how dare you not but licensed art”. I think we would be remiss not to note that they have also bred a community that has gone steps farther than that. I’ve seen DAC stans bully people, on several platforms, going as far as telling people to self cancel, because they dared to purchase an artwork that wasn’t licensed. I’m all about artists getting compensated for their work. But I’m not about anyone telling people that if they can’t afford hundreds of dollars for a hobby, they don’t deserve to do that hobby, or worse. I won’t use the word bullying because that word gets thrown around so much. But I know I’m not the only one who’s seen it.
Bully is the word I use. . . I’ve seen so much and it sounds like you definitely have too 😢. I’ve also seen everything that you’re talking about in this comment . . . This is the kind of company that can really hurt somebody, they’re psyche, their self-esteem and in regards to businesses well, I know all too well about that and yes, not only does it get into all of those places on a personal level. . . It is there where all of our creativeness, energetic healing begins, and when that’s out on the fritz, it’s a bit difficult sometimes to get back up. I just can’t believe the amount of wreckage and damage they’ve caused to others and now an artist . . . They just don’t stop. 😢
Omg I’m so sorry. Your comments describe my feelings, observations and dealings with them and this entire topic 🙁. I’m so sorry 😢 You are always welcome and included despite any of this ridiculous and painful unbelievable downright ludicrous standards set by them and DAC affiliates
Im sorry, I'm Not saying DAC is a Saint, I dont know all of the controversy they have been involved in, because I'm relatively new, and nobody talks about it because apparently they will ban you from their fb Group, even the community, and I really think thats kind of shady... But didn't Hannah Lynn wanted to take the renderization of their artwork and give it to another company?? I know hannah here is in disadvantage and at first I was all about defending her. But if the thing about the rendering is true I don't think she is in the right. DAC and other companies pay artists to do the hand rendering and trabslate the artwork into a chart... As I under stand, so the artwork is Hanna's but the rendering is DAC's, and she can't just take it to give it to other company... I think she does not deserve losing the right of her own artwork and if she wants to go to other companies thats completely fine!! But taking the translation of your artwork and giving it to another company to make it exactly as they made it I think that's stealing too.... Of course if that information is true. I don't know if they maybe told that version of the story to put her in a bad place but if it is true... I think both parts are wrong. Hannah deserves to have full right of her artwork and sell it to what ever company she likes but with the particular rendering of every other company because every company has its own style.
I appreciate your comment and I completely understand what you’re saying. Being in business myself in this regard, the only rendering really that’s going on is between that of the business, artist and the manufacturer. It is not difficult and it is something that anybody can do on a computer. It’s more of an AI kind of rendering. DAC likes to make out to be victimized and they always have. Their approach to business and to people has proven throughout the years to be harsh at best. Again any rendering that is done is not difficult, not artistic and it’s something that you and I can do. I’ve had to render an image actually two of a recent production of Artist Shiloh and it was approved by her and that’s it. This does not make it my painting because I had to alter it. The artist is always involved so she or he approves of that alteration or not. In the end when they approve it that makes it their piece. The fact that they approved and alteration to their painting, makes it their piece. DAC does not employ other artists to render other artist paintings and if that’s true-the artist, the original artist has to approve it anyways, no two ways about that, therefore, once approved, it is still that artist painting because they approved the alteration to it This is not a huge deal, but they wanna make it a huge deal. I think there’s something to be said that when you have contracted with an artist and rendering has to be done for whatever reason that it’s always the artist approval in the end, should be anyways, and it is still the artists piece. Another words they approve the change in that particular piece therefore it is their piece. It’s just like approaching a piece that you had just recently painted and you made some changes, it’s still yours. DAC sells diamond paintings. They don’t sell pieces of artwork that then becomes theirs because in the process of making it become a diamond painting some alterations have to be made to the picture whether it would be made smaller or bigger, etc. Now let’s pretend a minute that there wasn’t a written approval by the artist of that rendering. First of all that’s wrong in itself and is very arguable however, let’s forget that part for a moment. Let’s say they didn’t get written approval by Hannah Lynn of the rendering that took place. . . it was expressed however. The fact that Hannah Lynn allowed that to be made into a diamond painting is an “expressed permission” of that rendering. It’s legal term. Things aren’t always expressed with words or written signed communication. There is an expression however when Allowing the work to be made into a dp and then sold after it was rendered is an obvious expression of her approval of that rendering. Her approval in this way makes any changes to her artwork still her piece. Those alterations are hers. Because they are permitted by her. These finer details are important because then anybody could take anybody’s artwork from anywhere and just alter it a little bit and now it’s theirs . . . that’s wrong and we would never want it to be that way. And if you take this thinking further, why are we asking artists, getting their permission to make their artwork into diamond paintings if the logic is going to be… All I have to do is alter it and now it’s mine therefore I don’t need to get approval to produce this piece because I altered it. I’m being facetious here, DAC wants to play the game when it suits their agenda. Another words they don’t wanna play by the rules. There is no such thing as licensed artwork then if you’re going to change it and then call it yours. Any alterations done in the process of rendering a piece of artwork for a diamond painting is always always the artist artwork exclusively and does not become somebody else’s even in part. I totally understand what you’re saying and I appreciate what you’re saying but… There’s a bit more to this, then most people understand that aren’t in the business of creating diamond paintings for purchase. I loved your comment, makes complete sense, You laid this out well 😊 Thank you 😊
@@DiamondsOnCanvas thank you so much for explaining this. I can understand everything about the artwork even the rendering is entirely the artist's, therefore they can do whatever they want with it. I know this matter is Not simple, this is a legal situation, but everything would be better if they let her go to other companies, of course with their own manufacturers, and DAC shouldn't take advantage of their position to destroy an artists career. I hope they come to terms where everyone wins, and definitely this keeps me thinking as a consumer. Thank you!
I dont have a dog in this fight. I do feel like the artist isnt being treated right and hope justice will prevail for her. But as a general consumer its not my drama. Like many of the general consumers I will spend my dollars where I want with only a slight concern about issues like this..think Temus success. With that being said, I have never watched your channel before. Didnt even know who you are until this video came up in a suggestion. So for me, having this content being my first introduction to you, I can completely understand why you claim to be down to only 300ish subscribers. While you may have a legitimate claim to being sabatoged by DAC I feel like you really missed an opportunity in this video to introduce yourself positively to a new generation of diamond painters. You have only shown your own actions towards DAC are being the same as you claim their actions towards you have been. Again.. I truly have zero dogs in this issue. I am hoping this may be a one off and there will be better content for better business growth in the future.
You obviously haven’t seen my prior content nor after. This is one video and I may do more on this subject but have not . . . Geesh . . . My gosh . . Think / investigate/ look before you speak . . . If you listened to the entire video what you just wrote here doesnt apply. You know absolutely nothing about me nor Diamonds On Canvas LLC and I beg to differ . . . You DO have a dog in this fight. I don’t need to know nor am I interested in what that is but . . . Taking the time to write all this about knowing zero about it would be the red flag here along with your first sentence “ that you don’t” Please refrain from leaving uninformed comments. And since you brought up that you don’t have a dog in the fight, let me make a comparison… You don’t stand up for what is right. All you care about is making a purchase and it doesn’t matter who you support even if it’s wrong. You stand for nothing. There are a lot of people like you in this world. That is your choice. But as you can see, I am not that way, so please move on. It’s all good. Also, why don’t you take this opportunity and stand for what is right. I’d seize that opportunity if I were you because If you don’t stand up for what is right, you will always stand for nothing
I have no opinion about DAC nor do I have any particular allegiance to any diamond art purveyor but I believe DACs issue was that she took DAC’s renderings to other companies. In one instance, the competitor company left DACs watermark on the rendered image on the website. Thats not to say that dac is not sketchy but I just wonder that if dac employees spend hours doing a render does dac now own the rendering or as Hannah Lynn claims that the rendering is derived from her image so she can own and distribute it . Question for the lawyers I guess. What do you think? Does her primarily working in the color book world “color” her perception on how copyright works when it comes to how art is translated into these products? I do know that if she had just allowed dac to retain the rendering s they produced and let competitor companies produce their own rendering dac would not have had a problem according to them. Hannah did not want to do that cuz she considered their renderings her property. Interesting copyright issue. I don’t know.
You know and I know why you’re here making this comment. You hope to muddy the waters. It’s not gonna work here. Please stop. Please do not leave anymore comments like this. And of course, if you don’t stop, you know that I have the option to block comments and people for that matter. And for the record, you don’t know what you’re talking about legally or otherwise. And apparently DAC doesn’t either . . .
I’m not going to give specifics or details because that’s not what this video is about. It’s about a company that is hurting an artist in much the same way they have hurt others, including myself. Whether you believe me or not, does not matter.
Bless you for this, made me cry! THANK YOU for your support and kind words
Also I'm so sorry for what you've been through.

I understand and I am sorry 😢 💕 thank you for listening and thank you for your comment 💕
Glad you like them!
💕💕💕💕
It’s a damn shame! And unfortunately it is true 🧐 something needs to be done about that… Something 🤦♀️ 🙁
Lady of transformation how much ? I live in South Africa
Theres beni's to being small 😊business
I hope your doing well Chris!
@@HouseOfMiscellania Thank you 💕💕💕
Thank you for this message, and thank you for coming to HL's defense! The message you're sharing is very important.
☺️☺️💞You are very welcome
Diamond painting is so much fun that should be enjoyed by everyone! Both as a business or simply as an enthusiast. Monopolies are not & will never be cool imho.
Agreed 💞
Welcome ☺️☺️ and yes I completely agree with you!

I don't understand
Why would they want to shut her down?
Why did it happen to you?
100%
I support companies and artists...if I like the artwork....however there are a lot of people who can't afford DAC or other big companies....One thing I will not tolerate is a company telling who I can and cannot buy diamond paintings from regardless licensed or not... I don't tolerate bullies and no one should....Buy and do what makes you happy....DAC doesn't own this craft....
I love your comment!
Perfectly said 😊
Mainly commenting for the algorithm but awesome job on this video :) Hope more people find it!
Thank you!! 😊
I’m so sorry 😢
You are always welcome and included despite any of this ridiculous and painful unbelievable downright ludicrous standards set by them and DAC affiliates
I don’t need to know nor am I interested in what that is but . . . Taking the time to write all this about knowing zero about it would be the red flag here along with your first sentence “ that you don’t”
Please refrain from leaving uninformed comments.
That’s just completely untrue. Did you get your information from DAC? The renderings are not the same and do not have DAC’s watermark
And apparently DAC doesn’t either . . .
I’m sorry, I’d like to believe you but you gave no specifics or details, just accusations.
I’m not going to give specifics or details because that’s not what this video is about. It’s about a company that is hurting an artist in much the same way they have hurt others, including myself. Whether you believe me or not, does not matter.
