The grain on top… I’m at a loss for words that will do it justice! I could stare at it for hours. The twigs look amazing! You definitely need to do more of these! Love the purple and gold… purple and green would have been nice too.
This piece turned out absolutely gorgeous! It’s a masterpiece; first -the maple wood is absolutely stunning, 2nd -the branches in the center are very attractive, and 3rd -the finish on this piece brings it up a few notches. I see a very classy piece! Just love it! Great job! Bravo!
I think this may be the most fluid looking piece I’ve seen you do. The movement reminds me of the eddies in your opening shot every week. A place I could sit at for hours.
I agree with previous comments: it’s a georgous piece. I find the top’s wavy walnut grain captivating, the middle wood inserts mixed with the epoxy colors offer a great contrast; and I like the uneven middle part, it’s part of the piece’s unique character. Bravo Monsieur!
Yet again, you are absolutely correct... this IS a very beautiful piece! I've no idea where you dredge up your inspiration each week, but keep it coming! As always, have a great weekend Jim.
I think the graining of the walnut is fantastic and the white branches really add a beautiful contrast. The resin compliments the whole piece. A true peice of art.
Looks stunning, another fine work of art sir. It will be fun to see you turn this. It take so long for Friday to come around. Hope everyone is safe and happy now that summer is well under way.🌿 🍉
Im so excited to watch these videos, I'm not a woodturner, or woodworker, but I enjoy watching your creativity come to fruition in the final pieces. Such amazing skills, thanks for sharing!!!
Jim, I have to say this is the best piece you've done, that walnut crotch looks like you brushed it with gold dust. The maple branches and the resin really set it off. I love it beautiful work as always.
It's nice when you make a piece with resin "windows" you light it from within so we can see the light pass through the resin layer. Still loving the videos. I relax well while watching you work.
Designer Epoxy I love the shimmery pearl white that appeared from the deep purple and gold combination. I would love to see a shimmery pearl white offered all the time, it would look especially good with a dark color wood.
Hi 👋, Jim, I hope you are all keeping safe and well, The crotch grain looks amazing, and the WaterLox definitely brings out the grain, The sticks and purple and gold resin is a amazing peace of Art, I look 👀 forward to seeing your next project, Phil from the moulin France.
Beautiful. Seeing the initial buffing with the Tripoli buffing compound that wood grain just popped immediately to life. Your truly an Artisian, stunning especially when lit from within.
Good morning/day to all. What a way to start the day off!! I must admit I wasn't sure when I saw the pic of the bowl but once again Jim doesn't let us down. That top piece of walnut crotch is really something else. Ingenious way of not only saving some epoxy (we know it's not cheap) but also getting all the branches to stay in place. Absolutely love the piece!! Congrats on another amazing piece of art.
how can you not love this piece, it ticks off all the boxes; two pieces of crotch grain, walnut wood, epoxy, branches. All together and it makes a piece to love.
Love how you "married" the natural inlay style and the resin. Pairing the walnut and the pearl is great! I've quit saying, " this is your best" cause you just keep making cooler stuff. Designer Epoxy
Jim, I’m not sure which I appreciate more - Mother Nature’s artistry creating the grain in the walnut or your creativity and artistry in designing and fashioning this gorgeous hollow form. Both leave in awe. Thank you for sharing your talent.
The tree piece... nice. While that is a unique piece and a piece or art, I wonder what it would look like with thick branches vertical and name the bowl "family tree" with a transparent resin. The possibilities are endless with your craft. Thanks for the video as I always look forward to the next one. Keep'em rollin'
Gorgeous as always. I would love to see you do one of these for a fruit bowl, large and shallow. Love the branch inlay. The amount of various sizes really added to the beautiful design. Love it. Thank you, for all you do.
Another great piece Jim. The spacing of the branches was perfect and your idea of putting a groove on the indie for the collar to sit in would have helped to center everything. Keep on turning.
Wow, this is almost too pretty to use, deserves to be a display piece. Lit from inside, it almost looks like a little UFO! Love the grain pattern, some nice chatoyance going on in there. Another gorgeous piece!
Its been a while since you've treated us to a hollow form. I just love the grain on the top and the branches on the sides give it a really nice look. Great job!
You're right it is spectacular. I love it when you use the branches. Takes me back to your beginning videos. But I love all your videos. Thanks for sharing. Designer Epoxy
Lol that was a lot of planning and work! But a true labor of love ❤ absolutely stunning! Before you know it you'll be at 100k, you're too good not to get up and over that threshold! Designer epoxy
That is a very nice hollow form. The maple branches provide a great contrast to the walnut bowls. Just a suggestion. When you do something like this again, have the two bowl have natural edges, I think that would give more interest. Of course that would make matching up the bowls more difficult, but the result likely would be worth it.
Excellent job Jim!! I love the purple and gold colors together, but I especially love the branches in the middle. What a beautiful piece Jim! Thank you for uploading!!
Wonderful piece, love the branches in the resin. Awesome grain. And was waiting for the realization that gold is in the yellow family, LOL almost silled my coffee when you did! Nice you included the bit, pretty funny.
The colors are totally not what I was expecting but I honestly think you could have used almost any colors and this form would be just as stunning! Very awesome piece Jim! I also love the enginuity you use when doing your resin pours! Great work.
Very cool. I really like hollow Forms. The Branches are a awesome added touch. Have a wonderful weekend and week. Can't can't till the next one. Be blessed
Coming in the near or far future - The Sprague Virtual Color Wheel for Advanced Woodturners. It has two main colors: Blue Laguna and Gold with every other color shown in relationship to them. It's all you need! Such a beautiful work, Jim! I just stared in amazement at that walnut!!
Great bowl, Jim! Really enjoyed how all the elements came together - walnut crotch, maple branches & the resin choices. You will hit 100K…the word of your work keeps spreading!!!
Wow! Just wow! That grain! Good God, I could stare at it all day! Stunning! Is there anything you can't do with Designer Epoxy? The pigment of those colours are just spectacular!
Hello Jim you did an excellent job putting this piece together and I like how you explain everything you are doing and why. The Hollow Form vase is magnificent and unique I love it. You areca masterwoodturner and craftsman. Thank you for a fantastic video from Amanda xx
Really nice project Jim! The branches seem to stick out from the epoxy when the bowl is spinning. The maple grain is spectacular. Someone is going to be happy when they get it. Take care.

What about a vase in lavender, silver and black? These are my favorite colors that go together 😊🥰💟💜
Thought to get good color separation with that, but it would be neat. Thanks
This piece turned out absolutely gorgeous! It’s a masterpiece; first -the maple wood is absolutely stunning, 2nd -the branches in the center are very attractive, and 3rd -the finish on this piece brings it up a few notches.

Wow I did not expect that luminescent pearly white when lit from the inside. It's gorgeous. Love it!!!

That first coat of finish going on is always a joy to see. The beauty of the piece really comes out.
Couldn't agree more! Thanks
I think the graining of the walnut is fantastic and the white branches really add a beautiful contrast. The resin compliments the whole piece. A true peice of art.

I was wondering what it would look like with walnut branches in place of the maple.
Ooooo. Very, very nice. I can't wait.

That crotch grain is so pretty in this piece. Would have looked great as two bowls but this took it to another level.
Thank you very much!
That bowl is awesome! I'm glad the Designer Epoxy didn't mix together. The purple and gold go together well.
Thank you very much!
You really did the wood justice, Jim. I get your thing about wanting to line the branches up. I'd be like that.
It’s a real problem, lol. Thanks
Looking forward to watching.
Great! Thanks!
It's nice when you make a piece with resin "windows" you light it from within so we can see the light pass through the resin layer. Still loving the videos. I relax well while watching you work.

Gorgeous. I could imagine a beautiful band of turquoise instead of gold. Still a gorgeous piece. 😊❤️🙏🇦🇺
That would be nice too. Thank you very much!
Good morning everyone!
Good morning!
Jim, my wife agrees... Gold goes with everything and always fits!!!
Thank you very much!
Designer Epoxy I love the shimmery pearl white that appeared from the deep purple and gold combination. I would love to see a shimmery pearl white offered all the time, it would look especially good with a dark color wood.
