The video was great. I fixed the same band you showed in the video, a Gold's Gym long band, heavy. I used a 90 degree long handle pliers from Harbor Freight, $3.19 after 20 percent discount. The 90 degree angle allows better access to push the ball into the tube. Didn't have the strength you have so I used something wider than a chair arm to keep the pliers open wide enough to get the ball inside the tube. A bit of a struggle to get the ball in there but saved the cost of a new band. Also I'm going to make it a practice to loosen the rings that push against the ball after every workout. That may extend the time before breakage.
Thank you so much, you saved me from the cost of buying another band. Although, I did not use any tool,I guess my band was thin enough to allow me use my fingers
Great video for equipment repairs. I have trained with Sugerical Tubing for Martial Arts since the mid 1980's. Its rare thing to see this style of equipment being repaired, for it can be costly to be replaced The equipment I used back in the 1980s and 90s cost somewhere around $300.00 . If you let this kind of equipment setting off to the side, then the next time you go to compete in competition ~ it could be your Ass!
Hey Steve, what If I told you that you may have just made me a multimillionaire? I have been fighting with this very thing for much longer than I care to admit for an invention of mine. If this works, count on hearing from me.
Brilliant, especially using the armrest as a brace for the needle nose pliers. That's what I needed. Thanks!
I used the smaller, more common needle nose pliers and it worked. It just took a LOT of effort. Thank you man

Awesome video. Great workout! Keep up the good work!! Let sub each other's channel. Onward and upward!
Does anyone know an easier way to do this? It takes a lot of effort, I've tried so hard but still can't
Ask a family member to hold the pliers open and you push the ball in. Its what i did
Thanks
Take a strong cloth piece and tie 2 knots. It will work a lock. Simplest wat to fix the issue.
Mine almost break while doing my workout and I just find out that...
IT'S MADE I CHINA, AND THEY USE THE SMALLEST ZIP TIE I'VE EVER SEEN!
