$500 Budget Home Studio Setup 🎙🎧🎚

- If I only had $500 to build my Home Studio setup, this is what I'm going to buy! 🎙🎧🎚
***2022 Update: Unfortunately, since the release of this video, Avid has discontinued their "Pro Tools First" software. They do offer monthly subscriptions to their paid version of Pro Tools, and I would personally recommend going this route if you're seriously considering pursuing Audio Engineering/recording from home!

Get a job lil bro
Good still can start just get a jack daniel whisky . And there u go 😅
If you can save up a little more you could probably find a used focusrite, a used sm57, a dirt cheap stand, and some audiotechnica M20s for about $200.
U broke as shyt come back later lil bro
Bandlab is for us 🤣
Bro u reading this rn this yo sign to be a producer
Thank you fr
Amen 🙏🏼 all I’ve wanted my whole life. Letting it happen for the past 7 years w out hardly paying attention. Was down for a while but now I’m better and paying attention and giving it my all. Good things are happening fast. The things God puts in my ears is my greatest and favorite gift from him🎁 🙏🏼
Please do another one like this but with what you’d put in your room to help qualify of sound. For ex acoustics or foam panels.
Fun fact : he speeded up the voice at the end 😂😂
You got me... Had to squeeze it in that 30 second time frame! 😂
@@MyAudioAcademy yeah😂😂
@@MyAudioAcademy can add you the links for these products online?

Thank you I’ve been looking for a inexpensive setup!
Thank you,, I needed some quick n str8 to the point,, plus u have convinced me without needin details,,, thank u very much

People always overlook the PC man. You gotta gave a decent computer to run the DAW.
I LIKE THE VIDEO IMA GOING TO SAVE IT SO I CAN USE THIS FOR MY HOME STUDIO AT MY NEW CRIB
No hate, this is actually a great selection for sub $500 studio. However, it seems like EVERYONE that makes these lists just seems to forget the actual laptop/PC. That alone is anywhere from $800-$2000. (For good music production specs)
I mean, lots of people interested in making music probably have one or should probably know they’ll need somewhere to use software so it makes sense to factor it in. I’m looking to get into music as I’ve been songwriting for a bit, but I knew the pc/laptop is a necessity from the beginning.
tbh you can run fl studio on a cheap $200-$250 chromebook without lag, i’ve recently purchased a macbook and it’s really nice but it’s no difference from my friends $220 chromebook when running fl studio
@shaneforeman4140 can you do pro tools on that?
@@shaneforeman4140 I disagree, my M2 mac got liquid damaged now using a windows laptop with better specs than a Chromebook yet i cant use 15 channels or just two EQs and the session doesn't fall apart
recommend a cheap labtop
What about stuff to block out outside sound and give yourself a good sound with the mic, idk what to get, should I get blankets or like foam panels idk
Yeah nice, where you running pro tools though
for me my setup is recording guitars. I use vocal synth for the vocals.
What’s your setup like. I’d like to get a full home studio type thing going at this point ability to record guitar drums, piano synths bass etc. what would be the right setup for that I’m brand new to the studio thing but I’ve been playing for years 😭
@@beezer12washingbeard6 my set is simple. I use Irig HD2 to record my guitar and my game boy advance.
I got the exact same thing just with different headphones from Facebook market for a combined 140$
And God knows how much to spend on acoustic treatment to make that condenser mic work 😢
What about the computer?
Should we consider the focusrite solo bundle?
Xm8500 instead so you have more budget for the software (Logic Pro)
Everything until pro tools and you got a winning combo.
Reaper !!!!! :)
What daw would u recommend
@@stxticjay6649 There is nothing wrong with pro tools at all. Most people learn it from the start because of the "industry standard".
That being said, reaper is a great free one to start with and only $60 to own it. it's come a long way with the user interface.
Studio one is a great choice and very easy to pick up. You can unlock the professional version for around $30 - 40 a month.
At the end of the day, which ever DAW makes your work flow easy. Easy for you to use and understand to get the results you want is the right DAW.
They all sound the same at the end of the day. What you put into your mix and craft is sound that returns.
Cheers.
@@theradbrigade what about FL studios
@@thelocloud4352 decent daw, but can only take you so far ableton is the best there is in the industry, or logic for apple
@@prod.R3AL “Can only take you so far” what’s the limits to FL?
Would you still pick the nt1a for an untreated room?
What is an interface ? Whats its purpose ? Im looking to get a podcast microphone for my UA-cam videos. Thank you.
