Yass
You finally growing a beard bald man
if i knew you were doing something like this id try signing up lol, im 16 and ive been trying to officially make beats for 4 months now. mostly drill
where do u anounce stuff like this?
I wanna be a part of stuff like dis tooooo, im 16eeen... those guys we're fire btw
The biggest take away is with experience comes better sound selecting, the other beats were good, but Simon's sound choice really melded with the beat way more.
Yup, my little brother recently got into it as a hobby I every single track I hear my only advice is "choose a better sound" or "mix it a bit different".
thats true
Sound selection is 🔑
I agree with the sound selection being very very important !
For months of listening to music & trying too hard to make something sound I good I learned "Why do these professional songs sound so good ?" Even though they were using basic rhythms , if the sounds are good that can take those rhythms to another level but if the sound selection is bad then the rhythms will sound bad & won't feel as great
Man ur right, Simon is a great teacher!
The beginner guy proved that nothing can beat simplicity.
He had the best beat one could vibe to
We all did great 🔥
@@prod.fiasco3497 i subbed to u. i loved ur part it was great
@@eesr thx
That reggaeton switch is such a nice vibe.
EXACTLY. All these other guys add so much bullshit that doesnt need to be there
The beginner really structured his beat well
Good job!
I'm 27 and 5 years producing, but that 14 year old "noob" laid down a vibe that idk if i could match honestly, real nice
Thanks!
Those are the simple things that only a true musician can find, the transition was 10/10. Kid has the ear for whats good.
@@prod.fiasco3497 yo is this your beat?
Fiasco has potential! Only 6 months to be at this level? I hope he gets the opportunity to grow and shine, because it's not everyday that you hear a beginner at such an advanced level.
Appreciate!
@@prod.fiasco3497 You’re good kid
@@kid5042 Let's just hope he doesn't live in a m.A.A.d city
@@swampthing94 His music makes me so motivated we should call him Mr Morale

Dude this gave me goosebumps. As a producer it makes me SO happy to see kids this young making seriously inspired music. Props to these boys, they are going to move mountains
❤️❤️❤️
@@JordanBlackUA-cam Hey buddy did you make a new channel? Looking forward to your new stuff
@@kri8beats778 hey man really sorry ill get back to it I've been slackin a bit
@@JordanBlackUA-cam Same here my man. Took a year off of uploading and coming back in with 1 beat per day in October. Exhausting but worth it to start again :)
They are going to break rocks
My favorite is the beginner's. I think his beat fits the track best. It's catchy, groovy and creative, while leaving space for the instruments. And that transition in the end was really unexpected and interesting. Even from a mixing standpoint I prefer it to the intermediate one, since it's not overhyped. I also like his choice of putting the "vocals" in the background. This adds to the melancholic mood and really lets the beat shine through. The only thing I dislike is the bass(line).
I think what counts here is experience in making and creating music, not just in producing it.
The second part is definitely Studio really 🤌
4:11 That transition, was superb.
DUDE THESE KIDS KILLED IT!!! Especially impressed with fiasco who's only been producing 6 months!! wasnt expecting that from him at all. Imo, The first two beats could sound super sick if they were combined. All the beats were sick tho! awesome vid!
I agree
Yesss, I remembered my first 6 months, they were horrible compared to this kid 😭🙌

All 3 created something great here. Given that Fiasco has only been producing for half a year (and is only 14 years old...?!) he did some solid work in those 30 minutes he had.
Keep it up guys, true talent should never be wasted.
Thanks bro 😀
@@prod.fiasco3497 how you doin now? Shit was some good stuff bro
All 3 were hard AF😭.
The one thing that killed me was the "Exhale Counter".
Props to all three producers. Mad skills🙏🔥🔥🔥
appreciate it bro
AYO
Both kids got lots of potential. Simon's sound selection was on beast mode! Picking great sounds that can be cohesive with the mood you're creating is really helpful, especially when mixing comes to play...bruh!
I'm very glad that kids at a young age can have such a level of skill doing music production, I'm currently 15 and have been producing for 1 year and I've been able to advance a lot in my type of musical "career" making electronic music of various types of subgenres, Have a nice day Servida! (Maybe one day can i participate in something similar with you)
Good luck with your career!
Bro can I copy and paste this?! (Kidding) it's just that this describes me almost exactly (I've been going for more than one year) I wish u best of luck!! It's great to see someone my skill level:) 🔥❤👍
@@savamix3319 Thanks bro!, Same to you, Good luck in everything.
I'm 13 and i started since i was 11 so 3 years ago, i mostly do trap but im trying to lean more of that electronic genre that you are talking about.
@@prod_ghosty man, good luck to you! I really hope you achieve everything you wish! We amateur producers have the best kind of music because there is always something to learn from each other 😊😁
Everyone killed it. That switch up from Fiasco was ice cold 🥶 Really impressive for someone with only 6th month experience. Can’t wait to hear more from everyone in this video.

Prodigy is kinda crazy but it was really good I’ll agree
I'm not into producing at all, but this was so interesting! Hearing three different skills and music feelings compared was a cool experience - good idea for the video.
Very cool mix the first kids got but second one is pretty freakin cool. I like how he arranged it!
ty bro!
@@JordanBlackUA-cam def toss some subs in your mix and add some synth and you got it g
That beginner guy just nailed and killet it..🔥🔥

so basically simon took some kids to flex on them
and i dig that, it was great to see these producers flip the sample in such a short time, with everyone having different approach to things. also wouldn't call the first one noob, as he did really great having only 6 months of experience. at that time I didn't know how to even open effects or drop samples, and he is killing these patterns.
Man if it was me at 6 months, it would have sounded veeeery different

Nah man keep going
huh? If you’re 18 and producing for 6 years you started at 12.... theyre 14 so wdym ? 💀 I’m kinda glad I started at 17 or I’d be burnt out by now
@@KatiePetit lmao
i didn't made any progress i mean i didn't took it seriously. I'm just with the DAW and not learning anything
What u mean? you started earlier than most people. I started at 17
This should be like a weekly or monthly challenge. It was really good and it lets us normies dive into the world of music production
Im watching this as a romanian trying to start making music, so it's pretty refreshing that i see someone who also did this. Giving me hope
Honestly once explained it's fairly intuitive. Thank you for breaking it down so nicely for us newbies! Can't wait to play with the full version
A big key in producing is believing in yourself. I'm 14 and I started producing when I about was 13 years old. People and classmates laughed at me, but that was like a challenge to me. It was like "I'm gonna show you that I can make sick stuff." Having hope is initial and never give up at any point 💪
Very true!! I was always surrounded by people who support me
Yoooo I’m finding dudes my age that make beats too. I ain’t got no friends here that can make a single beat. Maybe I could get into some competition!
This is exactly me except I’m 29 now and haven’t even advertised or marketed any of my beats yet. Lol Idk why I’m still trying to get really really good... but I’ll start uploading some of them in the meantime I guess🙃
@@Prod_D may I hear one or three?
I had the smart ideas since I was 14,U have already started .Bro keep on going 🎉💪💪
Biggest takeaway is that Servida didn't build around the sample, he molded the sample to fit his style
Thank you so much for all these tutorials bro. So much valuable knowledge
Great for the producing community.
Love to see everyone having fun.

@@dvshtone it was clean, I don't blame him
i can only imagine how much motivation they could have gained, as well as how this was a great chance for them to be exposed to more experienced sounds and ways of thinking from this one short challenge. being exposed to different styles is definitely the fastest way to learn and expand their own thinking!
Great video man! This is the kind of stuff producers need to see. Your channel has helped me a lot so thanks for that!:)
what i took from this video
Beginner: Has great ideas, but its very difficult to layout those ideas, the moment we put those ideas in it doesn't usually sound like how we want it to be
Intermediate: The ideas we get can be incorporated into the "vibe" of the song, we can basically make what we want it to sound like
Expert: we have full confidence on turning the beat into something magical, the ideas we get can be turned into whatever we want, since we have the confidence we aren't afraid to experiment around the track
FACTS thanks for the feedback man
IMO:
beginner: simplicity, not many skills or ideas, so he has to work with what it has and use it the best possible way. (kid created a possible banger).
intermediate: too many skills or ideas, but cant capitalize on them because its not an expert yet. (it felt generic to me).
expert: has the skills, the ideas, and the creativity to create at will. (this one created the track for an all time underrated gem)
I just love the producing community. We've all started somewhere. It warms my heart to see that kid glow up when you were vibin to his beat. Everyone has shit to learn. You can always better yourself. You just have to be open to it, be open to listen to advice and grow!
Aww, yeah, agreed! ^^
This was amazingly impressive to watch💯🔥
I recently got interested in music production and this video is super helpful. Thanks for creating it
This feels so good to watched. U can tell when they heard Simon's, It ignited something new in them. They already got it. Time is the only factor.
Exactly
So much talent. All 3 of you. That 1st beat with the switch up went so hard!

Exactly! Finally someone thought the same.
Hip Hop tracks are mostly the same, of course, it's purpose is to carry the vocals, that's all.
And Hip Hop producers be making gosh darn moneys from their generic overpriced sample packs, it's quite pathetic to see most producers only stayed in their comfort zone making cheesy music genre's.
Anyways, i love your opinion.
@@BVK. it depends on what you’re focusing on.. I’m an Hip Hip / Rap producer too. I don’t use sample packs a lot, expect someone’s definitely wants it explicitly. I’m also focusing on epic and cinematic orchestral sounds combined with modern Hip Hop beats. I think that’s very different from the typical production of this genre because you’re not only have the standard routine with the „beats“ but also more compositions and scorings. Each of its genres has something very unique and I think it’s not fair to say Hip Hop producers has the easiest job. Of course there are a lot of, let’s say „trashy“ producers who’re really just doing the same thing over and over again, or just using samples and loops.. but to be honest, a lot of my hip hop scores (with orchestral sounds) sound the same often too, that’s just because it’s quite hard to make those epic and cinematic things sound very different because of its mood. That’s also with a lot of typical hip hop tracks or even techno, or let’s say Reggae.
Just wanted to involve myself to that conversation 😂🤟

This was just awesome! Thanks a lot!
fiasco's sounds like a track that you want to vibe to in the car
while jordan's sounds like a track that makes you wanna dance or make a choreography to hit those hard drums

Coming from someone with only an official 5 days of experience, much respect to those beginners. It takes a special ear to create this kind of stuff, and it’s not easy. Respect to Simon for showcasing their talent. Oh, and nice beats from EVERYONE

That was awesome guys I love this
Well I really liked all three of them, I loved the switchup of the beat of the first one and you can see that the first two don't have the same wow effect as the third one which I really liked but all 3 did a great job! :) I'm half asleep I might've written bs sentences idk

Lol
We all noobs compared to Servida
ESPECIALLY YOU
BROTHER, YOU ARE THE BEST!!! You oooh really helped me!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Thank you so much dude.... Helped me a lot
I see difference in the confidence of freedom in creativity. Time limit makes hard barriers, but the two little guys just did not play enought with the main sample, so basically they made the same beat (btw reggaeton beats were a nice choise). The only advice I can say you guys (after around 15 years of experience in beatmaking, lvl hobby) that you should be more playful with sounds. First your beats will be really awkward but after a few tries you will learn to being not the same as the other beatmakers. I think this is the biggest skill of Simon as well.
Good luck and keep up the nice work! 😊
For sure, they will learn that in time. Everything I was doing in my beat was done dozens of times in my previous beats
Thank you for hooking the young producers/beatmakers up! We need more of this in the world. SALUTE!
This video really helped me. Thank you very much!
The way all of them vibe is so neat, it shows how united we produces are 🥺
😁
this perfectly shows that you don't need much time to learn to learn the basics of beatmaking. everyone did a great job, but simons experience with soundselection and different genres just made the last 5-10% that make his beat stand out
