@@SanjayC Thanks , will upgrade once I get myself an acoustically treated room but for now until B tech , i plan on mixing in presonus itself and cross checking it with dt 770 pros and other audio devices
Like where I started with nothing I ended up spending $300 on an old MacBook that was plenty powerful enough and $2000 on equipment and instruments. Now saying that you have no computer first, realistically you could possibly only spend $500 on your setup if you were to go for a computer like the 2015 MacBook Pro and either a nektar impact g61 or akai mpk mini 3 depending on if you plan on playing virtual instruments or just sampling. Those two things could cost you around $320-$370 and you still got $180-$130 left to buy at least some speakers from Walmart or Amazon and another $100 to spend on a microphone and a stand with cables.
I would say I have spent close to £700-£800 on home studio both for Production & Vocal. Focus right interface(£90), Microphone(£59), Vocal screen(£81), M-Audio Oxygen Professional Keyboard(£215), monitors(£150). I would say that it is within a medium range for a studio, but I am also building a top notch PC as well which will increase costs as well.
@@SanjayC i9 Processor, at least 64gb Ram, 2 1tb SSD's, 1 2tb HDD, just a few specs. I'm thinking due to the amount of plugins/DAW upgrades/OS upgrades I'm thinking the PC will last at least 10yrs so will hopefully pay for it's self.
As much as I like your setup, I couldn't choose between a microphone and a keyboard. I'd rather sacrifice the monitors to fit the budget. But anyways, you put a really good setup together. Thanks for your suggestion for the AKG p120 in your other video. I've picked one and yes, I do love it 🤩

I have the mini-lab MK2 and the software it comes with is AMAZING! It’s good quality has lots of functions and Analog lab has hundreds of synths and pianos, organs etc. I’d take the MK2
I have tried both of them and I like the Arturia better. But if you find a certain feature in the Novation that you find useful then go for it.I would say both of them are overall great keyboards and the choice is really up to you.

@@SanjayC No problems mate, at the end of the day I think a lot of these items are fairly decently priced for what they are to be honest, it's a very good setup I have the 4.5 Monitors and I use them more than my Krk's I haven't had a chance to use the microphone or the launch key though.
Yay another vid!
Hey Cameron! :-)
@@SanjayC loving these mew setups, vids as always are great!
Your video quality dramatically increases every video!
Thank you Future Sounds!
Sanjay, can you add a link for that headphones stand? It definitely keeps your space in order. LOVE your video. taking a lot of ideas from you. Thanks and continued success!!!
Check the video description. I added it. IsoAcoustics
What Keyboard do you use in the video? It looks great. 4:15
Wonderful review and advice. Keep up the great work.
Thanks so much
Hi Sanjay C, I've just discovered your channel and honestly, you're the best! I'd gather so much knowledge just by your videos, and you're very entertaining and pleasing to watch as well.
Question here: Do I need both a speaker and a headphone? I'd imagined myself doing all the producing with just a headphone so why is it important to also include a speaker instead of cutting it? Thank you man, have a great day!
i'd get the speaker, headphones only could lead to ear damage, having speakers is less pressure on your ears
Having both is ideal. I always find that I discover different things in my mix when listening with headphones and speakers.
Love you sensei
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Love your set up its simple roomie and clean
Great follow-up to your previous budget production setup! Thanks, Sanjay!
You should write the product on the screen when you mention it...a price and a link would help too if you're making a budget studio video
Good feedback!
I'm subscribed now because you will be alot of help for me.
Thanks for the support! 🙏
Sanjay’s videos are always such high quality… i’ve already built my studio but these vids rlly are entertaining and informative lmao
The lighting setup tho💥❤️
yay , presonus eris e4.5 studio monitors , the ones im currently using :D
Good choice!
Wow! What specs are you putting into the PC?
I've picked one and yes, I do love it 🤩
Interesting. I was struggling with that choice too. But the quality of the Eris 4.5 monitors are so good I think a lot of people will like them.
sacrificing the most important thing that produces sound LMAO
thats so cool!🔥
Thanks! What do you think of the gear I chose?
@@SanjayC I think it's amazing. Cause im starting off my music career and i was extremely confused on, what i should use and get. Your channel has been an amazing guide for it and half my studio is based on what you suggested. I personally think this is best you can get for the price!
Happy to be a subscriber of your channel! :D
Hey Sanjay , I have the Novation Launchkey 25 MK3 , will keeping it plugged in 24*7 cause any harm to it ? 😁 GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS
It shouldn’t. But would be nice with an on off switch.
Hello. what parameters should a computer have for comfortable work in a home recording studio? that's the bare minimum. the budget computer. and what parameters so perfect. thank you.
I am currently building my studio set up step by step and your videos are incredible for all my research, thank you, thank you and thank you :D
Hello. I was hoping to change to a desktop. Could you recommend one or two that are suited for recording please. (Ones that are not high budget). Thanks!
This is the fastest I've ever clicked on a video!! I'm myself surprised. lol. Love the videos, though!!
Edit: I needed some advice. I'm interested in music production, mainly EDM and Pop, and am looking for a MIDI keyboard. I'm a bit torn between Arturia MiniLab Mk2 and Novation Launchkey Mini Mk3. Any suggestions?
haha! Glad you like them! :-D
I have the mini-lab MK2 and the software it comes with is AMAZING! It’s good quality has lots of functions and Analog lab has hundreds of synths and pianos, organs etc. I’d take the MK2
@@cameronpritchard626 same
I have tried both of them and I like the Arturia better. But if you find a certain feature in the Novation that you find useful then go for it.I would say both of them are overall great keyboards and the choice is really up to you.
@@SanjayC Sanjay Sir, do you have any advice for my MIDI keyboard question?
Before I upgraded my studio, I used that PreSonus Audiobox for years, and it was extremely reliable. I still have it......just in case. :-)
Nice! What did you upgrade to?
@@SanjayC I jumped up to the Focusrite Scarlett 18i8. I love it! No latency issues anymore on my MIDI. The drivers they have built in work great! No more ASIO4ALL!!! haha
Some day i will be creating a good studio like this for now im saving money😅 very good video sanjay... youve been a best youtuber for me and i have plans of recording rap songs
Thank You for this video!! 🙏🙏
This is a really great budget setup. :) And let's be honest, if you really just want to make some music you don't technically need a microphone or a midi keyboard in the beginning. You can easily start off without and can save some money or spend it on different speakers, audio interface etc.
Absolutely! Those are a nice-to-have later on
