These 4 vids have been a goldmine for me as i have the exact same car with the d4f722 engine. With oil leaking from all spark plug tubes and a small corner of the cover. The poor thing sounds like a tractor so i will be checking the valve clearance as it has done over 100,000 miles bless it.

Congrats. Must be half decent engines as there's still plenty on the road even at 2022

Good video. I have this engine on my Modus. I was wondering how to get easy access to the rocker cover. But this overly complicated intake manifold covers the entire engine head and must be dismantled first with a dozen screws to be removed. Why keep it simple?

Thank you much as always a great video about this amazing model of car!! I would appreciate if you could share the OEM Part code for the ignition switch of that Clio? You know it is a very common issue on the spring so I have to manually returned , I would appreciate your great assistance! 👍

Do you think that instead liquid silicone this could be done with some O ring seals ofcourse of apropriate size? I'm little bit sceptic what could go wrong with putting too much or to little silicone...

I cannot say it would definitely not work without testing it. However I wouldn't think it a good idea.
It will be difficult to actually do and don't forget the surfaces are flat, no groove for an o ring and they may interfere with the sealing of the rest of the rocker gasket.
I understand your worries about silicone but just keep trying until you get a good bead, plenty in a bottle to practice and it wipes of easily.

So I had same issue and I guess there are two reasons for that. First your PCV valve or hose on rocker cover was cloged and in some moment oil pressure pushed oil up the hose, and second one you had to much oil in your engine. For sure you should clean hoses described in Video number 4 of this Rocker cover saga and replace the air fillter. If you notice in the future that oil is again on the fillter there should be further investigation.

Also one addition, if you remove your MAP sensor on top of the intake manifold you will see that that part is also oily and I guess that you, like a lot of people with Clio had mayo (white or bright yellow milky stuff) residue on oil cap.
