Like most teens in the 70s, I crushed on handsome David Cassidy. But I followed Susan Dey also, liking her fashion and modern sensibility on the show. When she was on LA Law, I was a young professional also, and she was such a classy attorney in her tailored suits and her sleek haircuts. She played a very smart, tough, and hard-nosed attorney, someone to be reckoned with. I still like and admire Susan Dey. It's fine if she does not want to show up at public functions, but she should know, many of us still like her so much!

The coach let Laurie's friend Frankie try out for the basketball team, said she was good, then told her she was rejected for being female. Why let her try out if they already knew girls weren't allowed?
