I've watched this before a long time ago. Danny was hilarious he stole the show. Obviously David was a heartthrob but Danny was the personality of the show
To hear Danny Bonaduce tell it, David Cassidy essentially saved his life and built him up again. I don't know anymore about him other than what is public facing but Danny's discussions seemed pretty candid and David Cassidy was a truly good guy.
I loved the show at the time. Brady Bunch and Partridge Family! I had no idea how far apart what I was watching and what I was hearing they were. And of course, my older sister had every album! Fun times!
If I had been on that show I would have adopted Danny and he would have had the best life without drugs and alcohol. Such a special young man. One in a million.

Oh my gosh! The father died and they started a rock band in response! Just love it! I'm 63. "I think I love you" was one of two singles I owned! . I also had "I am woman" I'd sing it full blast. Within weeks someone disappeared the whole little record player. My old man hated women(loved sec), and I suppose he would have thought it bad form to beat me while I sang I am woman at the top of my lungs...

Could there be more cult ever? Very enjoyable movie (from 1999) behind the scenes of the iconic Partridge Family and Hollywood. With Danny Bonaduce in a kind of Forrest Gump role. You can see in it what you want. Clashes everywhere around, sometimes hilarous other rather grim. Good casting. Actors did quite good. Seventies atmosphere is nicely captured.

Suzanne Crough played Tracy, the youngest girl, on that show. I don’t know who played Tracy in this movie, but Ms. Crough passed away some years ago from heart failure. She was 52 years old.
Danny became rich and famous but he wasn't happy he had difficult childhood his dad is crazy he physical abuse him. His mum should call cops and lock him up in prison. It good his mother left his crazy dad. I like watching the Patridge Family and I was born 70's.

SOMEBODY didn't do their research! The 'sweater around the neck' wasn't in fashion until the 80's. This show ran 70 - 74. It was very annoying since the character had the 'sweater look' for the ENTIRE movie, not just one scene.
I was ten years old when the PF was on television...all the kids would disappear from the street where we played until after the show was over... We hated the boring dialogue but we loved the songs. I had a Partridge Family lunchbox...the kids at school teased me about it but I knew they were envious... PS, We hated the Brady Bunch...it was very boring compared to the PF. In junior high school, nobody admitted they liked the Partridge Family!
