Will these dreams still follow me
On of dark obscurity?
Can't you see it up in the sky
As it kicks you in the face and lets you dye
You never have the answers
And now you tell me the facts of life
I really couldn't be bothered with you
Get out of my face and watch me die
Burning inside!
Absolution and a frozen room
Are dreams of men below
I try to grab it but the touch is hot
The mirrors collapses, but the image can not
I'm scared of darkness in a light
I scare myself cause I know I'm right
I see the evil in you're savage eye
As it cuts right through the sky
Burning inside!
Calling the mantra with a blade in the skin
For the demons within
I feel the pain is the death and decay
But the lesson never fades away
Too little shadows, turn away
Another man through the window pane
Another slave and a victim of fate
Another lesson in hate
Burning inside!
R.I.P. Bill Rieflin
Loved them since day one.
They rocked Royal Oak Michigan last night.
One of life's biggest mistakes - not going to a Ministry concert when I had the chance.
seen some industrial shows like pigface and underground groups like not breathing and bagman great shows though
Saw them on this tour. Don't remember a thing.
One of my biggest regrets. And i have a few.
I got into em late my cousin tried when I was in 7th grade but I needed to wake up for it to kick in. I saw them with meshuggah and was hooked. Felt like an underground revolt against society at that show. Funny tho cuz I was about a year away from gettin into meshuggah when my cousin first showed me filth pig.
Thomasuki267 right
There still Around
One of the best guitar riffs ever.
I used to think he was saying Barney Fife.
Best version of the greatest industrial metal song ever in my opinion
From arguably the finest industrial album 🤘🤘
There is 1 better. I remember buying Thieves 12" vinyl in 1990 and it has the absolute best version of burning inside. B side. This is second best I've heard.
OMG, I was THERE. I will never forget the 2 drummers and learned later who the platinum blond wild man was (Bill) moving his head & flinging sweat as much as his drum sticks. I couldn’t believe the drummers were locked in time with the all the monitors blazing away drowning everything in the universe except Ministry live on stage. The venue had rented diesel generators, that were outside chugging away on the sidewalk to support the extra amps and passive speakers Ministry brought to rock the foundation off the bedrock. The Klaxon going off on Burning Inside was a real spinning light on top of a speaker tower. Pre-show, the roadies set up a chain link fence in front of the stage at least 12 feet high. We were like: "Seriously? WTF?" Then Al came out and rasped into the mic: "This fence isn’t to protect us from you, this is to protect you from us. You’d better climb it! Climb on it! I’d better see some fuckers jumping off it!” As uncle Al said, and we did. The guy in the white T-shirt in the video is me. I’d just got off work and was the only mofo in the place wearing white. Got my nose broken by a stage diver flying knees first into my skull during THIEVES. Hell no I wasn’t leaving! Best show ever! Ministry… so ahead of their time.
I have seen hundreds of concerts since '89 but this one will always be #1. It was pure insanity.
Agreed. Legendary.
Most vicious mosh pit I have ever witnessed. Detroit, MI 1992
Ditto… I’m an old fart, saw them at the Channel (Boston, MA), had a chain link fence on the front door f the stage so you’d run up to it, climb, then jump off into the pit. F’n baaaadaaasss
Lucky !!
The only album I ever managed to generate a noise complaint with while it was still daylight outside.
🤘💯
Not loud enough eh?🤟
I'd say hell yes. Euphoria, side effects, euphoria, side effects.💯⚡ Ha!😎❤️
The duel drumming is phenomenal as well!
Hell yea
Yeah, I done likedid that shit..🤘😁
Fuck me. This ages like good wine.
Peak moment 89/90 can't get enough of this song LOVE IT !!
Hands down..Loudest band I've ever seen.
Yes seen Motorhead numerous times.
Man if I could back in time for one gig, this is the fuckin one
Loudest and one of best shows I’ve heard & seen. Rocked my nuts off. At Riverbend in Ohio. 91 or 92. Ears ringing after their set. Neck had whiplash next morning. Hearing damage totally worth it.
Now thats putting on a show.
You said it!!!
You have NO idea 😂
The best live album ever made!
Probably the second best album ever made.
So, the best album ever made is?
Sven Andersson I agree 100%, Sven! S'been my favorite live album for 20 years.
This and Nocturne by Siouxsie.

Ah, memories, sweet memories...With this album in my cassette player and earphones I have traveled with my friends all day on Crimean mountains it was early spring and we scating on snow on pockets, it was raining sometimes. It was a plateau of mountain on Tatar language called "Chatyrdag",which can translate like "Camp mountain".There are many сastre caves, especially under snow.So it was too risky!Greetings from russian Crimea to all old&new fans of the best industrial band ever!!!;-)))
Indeed! The music of Ministry is TOO GOOD to not transcend politics! Rock on man! 🤘
Such a great power song! One of so many by them.
Back in the day
"Hey you wanna be in a ministry video?" "He's out of his league."
Thanks you guys for expressing exrim angers! Thanks
Best video for this song. Aww I'm never gonna see uncle Al live
My cousin was a bouncer/manager all over north jersey and nyc and I started getting in places at a very early age but going tonsee Ministry at the o.g. Ritz in NYC at 13, we knew the doorman and he wouldnt let me in so i didnt get hurt...only time in my life that ever happened. And I was going to sunday matinee's at cbgb's at 10 years old. Thats how brutal these shows were in the late 80s/early90s
Kids today have no idea how brutal things really were back in those days!
@@upinthemtns oh no they do not! I watch a girl get literally flung out of a pit during Chem Lab, if I remember correctly, at The Pipeline in Newark, NJ back in like 93 or so, and she broke her back. Show didn't stop and people only really noticed when the set was over and paramedics were strapping her to a board...I will always remember her crying, it's like burned into my mind.
@@zew1414 When skin heads/neo Nazis hit the scene back then it was bad. At Todd's in Detroit they stomped a guy to death. Pulled him from the chair and dragged him to the dance floor and fcuking killed him.
It never made the news (not uncommon back then). Fairlane Mall used to have Friday or Saturday night riots when the Detroit youth came in on the bus.
Never reported in the paper.
You just rolled down the steel links and grabbed people to pull them in to safety.
Rapes were common there and at the clubs, like Bookies. I was always carrying weapons.
The only bad places, like City Club, were the ones that frisked you and would find Everything I had on me.
I got mobbed and almost killed after a 15 min beat/kick down. If I'd have my knives, that would never have happened. Just a good slash was all that was needed to mellow some asshole out and rethink his choice of entertainment.
The worst (can't think of its name...maybe Harpo's) was one where a bar friend of mine was shot. Tough ass guy shot dead by a skinny punk on crack. All over an old car worth nothing...
Whatever the name was, that place always had shootings, which were not common back in the early 80's.
Music isn't better now but the scene isn't as life threatening.
Thanks for having this upinthemtns Never knew In Case You Didn’t Feel Like Showing “ was video. F’in awesome !
Still one of my all time favorites
The Lryics Are Spot On As Well!!!

The better version in my opinion.
Agreed
Thank you so much for this video!
Thanks for enjoying it!
Thanks for the upload brother!!!Great video!!!!\m/
Being back the chaos..A lot of these bands would be mega rich if they promoted a show reenactment like this ..Bring it on ,,cages and all
Not sure if the youth of today aill handle it too well! However, those 30 and above will surely enjoy it! 😁😂
Cellphones would fuck everything up
Al's music was 30 years too early.

I sold my soul for theindustrial Metal !!!
one was anny iter
Can anyone tell me what year this is please
1990
from the 89/90 The mind is a terrible thing to taste tour!
1990. They played in Omaha in February ‘90. I took pictures but the fence messed with my camera flash. A friends promotion company brought them so I had full reign, I wandered backstage too but didn’t speak to anyone. I don’t think I knew too much about the band and probably found them scary and intimidating. I remember the intensity.
Ahhhh . . . they were the days !!!!! Ministry and a few other bands, least of all Nirvana, brought the alternative/independent music scene alive. Ministry and ALL the various projects including Pigface and the Revolting Cocks; , Nine Inch Nails, KMFdM; Depeche Mode; but more so Rob Zombie ......
Does ANYONE know why Al did not sing this song live after 1992 ?
Frosted Saw Ministry in 1990 and again just last night in Lincoln, NE. This song is classic Ministry in my book but not Al’s apparently. And he would never play any of their early synth stuff...that would just be uncool and embarrassing...
I agree. I don't like synth pop Ministry. But Burning inside is fucking killer industrial track! Why would Al be embarrassed with Burning inside (1989) when they still play So What (1989) or Stigmata (1988), another classic killer industrial tracks?!
@@orevulic3398 he is doing the i think 30 yr anniversary tour and planing on doing the whole album
Jedi Dance Party, anyone?
No comparison to today's music. Nitro sounds at its best!
PINK FLOYD OF INDUSTRY METAL !
Wonder if they are available for kids parties...
