- The Audi B9 S4 finally gets tuned from 034 Motorsport as we do the 034 Motorsport Stage 1 ECU and the Stage 2 TCU. We put the Audi B9 S4 on a test of 0-60 with the current stage 1 plus Unitronic ECU tune and then re tune on the 034 Motorsport Stage 1 ECU Tune and the 034 Motorsport Stage 2 TCU tune.

Not sure why we weren’t able to get good times off the Unitronic stage one tune. Might reload the tune and retry later and report back. Regardless the 034 TCU tune was superb and paired well with the ecu tune. Apologize for any misleading information here or confusion ❤️
Man it's really care just how good the V6 is, well built, strong internals, can take a beating. And the ZF8 transmission is also incredibly tough. Honestly the platform is a tuner's dream. And prob the only other engine out of germany that I love as much as BMW's i6

Just bought the 034 Stage 1 and Stage 1 TCU earlier this week for my ‘21 S5 Sportback. Waiting for it to come in. Was thinking of holding off on the install until June when my IE intake and turbo inlet come off backorder.

Over half a second faster than uni. 034 is definitely the tune to get.
Still so strange how we couldn’t get a solid time. We ran faster before on the tune but for some reason it wasn’t doing it for us…

ehh id imagine the tuning company just tells us to do that because a few unlucky people have done it without a charger before (their battery was already shit) and bricked their ecu's and they tell us so they don't get backlash.

@@93ChayZ This is exactly it. There's no reason to use a battery charger for 99.9% of people. Maybe if you're on a 6-year old battery.

Another thing, when you record in the beginning of the video and after u tuned it, are you using your phone? Because with headphones on, there isn't much sound in the right ear compared to left but sound is fine when u film with ur GoPro... weird.
You guys gonna do 034 stage 3 for the TTE 710? The numbers are crazy 604 hp/620 tq on 93 and 720 hp and tq if u do the E60 map!

One thing of Custom Tunes is you need to be very careful with them…. Most custom tuners will forgot or simply not make a Oem Stock tune to revert to. So say you want to change to IE or 034 you would have to go back to stock and some Custom tuners don’t have a Oem Tune 🤙🏽

Hi! Great results! Why are there no "dsg fart" sounds when the gearbox changes the gear? I know both B9 S4 and S5 do have the sound when stock. Did the sound disappear because of the tune? Thanks!
There is no “fart” when launched and tcu is in “AMAX”. Essentially it’s the fastest shifts possible so no farts. Good way to tell if your also launching correctly
The ZF8 trans in the B9/B9.5 isnt a DSG.

What was the 0-60 bone stock? 4.4 on the unitronic tune sounds like what it should be stock.
We ran like a 4.5/4.6 stock. Which is why running those times on the uni stage 1 tune was so puzzling 🧐
vancityaudi ran 4.2 bone stock and 3.5 with an IE stage 1 tune

I wish I would have got a B9 instead of the B9.5. Why did Audi take the S logo off the screen where the Tach is?

Nothing really, the B9 S4 has been my favorite car I’ve ever had. Maybe ordered a tte710 sooner since they’re all out 😅

quick question, and i know im late, but just got a b9 s4! can you run stage 1 ecu with stage 2 tcu reliably? is it better to pair it like stage 1 and stage 1?
I would definitely recommend running the stage 2 tcu tune as it’s the full transmission tune and will be the best no matter what ecu tune you flash too (1 or 2)
So I just got a 2019 s4…. Coming from an STI where you need a tune for a window sticker… with the 034 stage 1 and 2, does it matter if you add a cold air intake or a down pipe? Or do those require separate tunes?
Nope. Does not matter at all, the tunes are adaptive to whichever hardware you put on besides stage 2 which would require a downpipe

@@87adamrg stage 1 doesn’t require any bolt ons. Stage 2 would only require downpipe and you’re all set. Intercooler is highly recommended and intake for most gains
@@drivenbyboost so intercooler no matter what even stage 1 , but optional in either case. I think in one video you did stage 1 engine and stage 2 transmission tune I guess that’s an option too

how about fuel consumption now? same or a bit more? my one stock is about 11L/100km
I would say its about the same when not driving hard otherwise its slightly worse if driving more aggressive
Hey homie, i did stage 1 ECU and TCU, on the ECU i chose R2.1 calibration. On the TCU i had calibration option of "stock" or "R2.1" or something, on this which one do u choose?
R2.1 for newest revision and tune 👍

You can do this tune to a normal B9 a4 right? It doesn’t have to be a S4?
They have an a4 tune I think but you won’t get the same results as it’s a different engine.

Definitely recommended. You should be fine but on the off chance the car battery dies while flashing the ecu might brick and you’d have to send it out to get fixed
Would it help to turn off traction control?
Believe traction was fully off on the first runs
I made the mistake of not holding down the traction control for the five seconds when I tried to launch mine the first time.
Why doesn't your car show what gear you are in?
How much faster is stage 2 vs 1 i wanna go straight to stage 2 but if the difference isn’t a lot I’d much rather save and not get a down pipe and do stage 1 ecu stage 2 tcu
The biggest jump is stock to stage 1. Stage 2 is slightly faster but not much unless you go E85
Your unitronic time seemed basically stock at 4.4
Had me puzzled because we definitely ran a sub 4 second on the uni tune
@@drivenbyboost I did 3.72 stage 1+ from uni last year. So there is room for improvement.
I have B9 S4 stage 1+ uni with uni intercooler and IE intake and able to get a 3.67 something doesn't seem right.
@@Daniel-lq5rg last year ran a 3.8 on the uni tune. Have no idea why didn’t get close to that this go around. I have not touched the ecu since then. Only thing that makes sense is user error and unable to get a proper launch in.
Uni is a dead ting. 034 all day.

The ECU tune has no difference it’s all about the TCU tune , transmission makes all the.difference
