I have a '18 s4 and I agree. This car is the best of both worlds. Looking forward to the future videos! Also I think the 034 tune benefits from an air intake so there might be some more power in that tune with the intake
You should look into getting tuned by Jackal Motorsports, they have had b9 and b8.5 s4s with simple bolt ons and e40 or e85 mix go into the low 10s on a 1/4 miles
@@stephenEs3532 in what world does shopping at a dollar store and getting a b9 s4 tuned by a different company line up in the same sentence. Just stop talking
You Jackal shills are relentless. Dude has already talked about how he's sponsored by 034, has a relationship with them, and has known one of the guys that works there for a long time, yet you still just can't help yourself lol. Learn how to read the room man. Most people aren't hyper obsessed with quarter mile and 0-60 times, the S4 is a an entry level sports sedan that for most people is a daily driver. I've personally taken a B9 and a B9.5 from stock to stage 3+ with 034, 20k miles later and zero issues outside of regular maintenance. Drivability and reliability are typically the two most important things people are looking for when they tune a car, nobody gives a shit about making an extra 10whp with a company with very little experience compared to others. Also, there aren't any b9's or b8's running low 10's with simple bolt ons lol.

I wish I would have tuned my b9 before I sold it. It just felt and looked like nothing special. I’d walk up to a4’s thinking it was my car. At the end of the day I added up the cost of things I HAD to do to be somewhat happy with it. Which included new wheels/tires, suspension, tune, downpipes and an exhaust and It was like 6k. I loved my B8.5 S4 but jumped over to BMW also when looking at replacements. The 340i offered the B58 which blows the EA839 out of the water in terms of tuning and reliability. I’ve seen too many issues with the EA839 motors already for my taste. Add in that the car has largely looked the same for 20 years and it felt like a pass for me. Happy asf I went for the b58 though. Making mid 400s wheel on a down pipe and tune…
034 stage 1 you can flash completely stock. i’d say, DONT. it won’t harm anything, but you won’t perform as well as you can. it will heat soak and lower said power so the tune really won’t be worth it. if you want to flash stage 1, do intercooler, intake, and IF you want to, do inlet. smartest way to flash stage 1 reliably & you’ll love it even more. it can use all that potential!
Does the tune affect the way the torque converter locks up when taking off from a standstill? Not launching but just driving away from an intersection at low/mid throttle.
I love ur videos, but i have such a hard time going considering this and completely voiding the warranty. When theres an issue you could easily spend 2k in diag alone.
Love the videos man! Keep it up been following for a while. I had a grey speed3 as my first car and watched every video since. I now have a 2020 S3 am I able to tune it stage 1 from your website as well? I love all the extras 034 includes.

what octane did you do? i’m with IE 93 stage 1 ecu/tcu tune FBO and im running a 3.6 0-60.. feels like yours should be a lot faster than this tuned now
From 0-60, 4.7 stock and ~4.2 stage 1 is pretty common on 91. 4.2 stock and ~3.6 is common on 93. You wouldn't think just 2 octane would make that big a difference but it does...
