To you guys are right behind me on the tunes. I just flashed my 034 stage 2. How it will take a few engine cycles. When it takes full effect the engine feels like it wants to jump out of the bay. The pops are sexy and mature. She is a beast turn the traction all the way off and launch her. The shift are brutal
Hold onto the launch longer! Got to wait until you see the boost build to about half, keep in mind you might spin more.
I am still learning the car. I don't like launching hard especially on those wheels but I will definitely try!
@@kulka89 it manages boost well, I manage to get traction even on 20” wheels haha. Also you should definitely try their e85 tune it’s ridiculous

I just tuned my ‘19 S4 with 034 and I thought I had a bad PCV because of a whining at full boost, just saw that it is doing the same on yours, i’m relieved 🤣😂 nice car brother !
Well, here we are, really happy to see this tune review as I was just looking at 034's site and was impressed that it includes a TCU tune which this car needs badly. Going to keeps my eyes open for a sale and definitely upgrade to this 034 Motorsports tune!
It definitely is a needed upgrade. The car is a different animal and that’s already coming from a stage 1 tune. If you are stock the difference would be wild.

Just did a 034 Stage 1 on my 2018 S5 - night and day difference... I definitely recommend the 034 tune. Wowzers. Love the channel, keep it up guys!

What mods do you have?
Let boost build to 3900 (just before the pads start slipping) then release the brake and launch. If you are able to activate AMAX it will improve your time immensely. I’m running a custom tune but making less HP and TQ and I’ve done a 3.65 on my draggy
yeah not sure why he was just flooring it, i can hit 3.9-4.0 on my bone stock S4 with letting the boost build

These cars are rated to do 4.2 stock from audi, it all about conditions and environment. When you live at basically 0 altitude you will run much faster then someone at higher alts
@@awhs5435 No bone stock S4 is doing to 60 in 3.9-4s. Maybe 4.1 on an extremely lucky run. More like 4.2.
@@RageCage1701 DA/elevation and temp all make a difference, come to Vancouver, it's sea level and the air is extremely crisp, 99.99% of road cars here will make way way more power then someone who lives in alberta or ontario.

This sold me and mine is now booked in for Feb next year for stage 2 got a full body kit install coming as well, will look beast (along with this I will be doing a dyno for the car so I will give real-world numbers using 99ocatone here in the UK), wish i could blog because eim sure it would be a good addition to the b9 videos you guys do!

Having a few Audis now its a good idea to reset the trans adaptation by holding the throttle down for 30 sec with Ignition ON engine OFF, then cycle the ignition and it resets to factory mode.

I found when launching my S5, it was more aggressive in Dynamic, S on the shifter and pressing the kickdown switch in, releasing the kickdown on actual launch.

These are great cars but the bmw b58 is still the best platform for tuning, with the Audis you need to spend double if not, triple the price , but nice video though
Have you tried the launch with ESC off or in ESC sport? Also, you need to hold the brake boost longer until the boost doesn't climb higher
034 Motorsport just dropped a new Stage 2 AL552 TCU tune. Would love to see you guy's review on it. It seems like it'll add an extra 50-60 HP compared to the Stage 1 AL552 TCU tune.

I do not believe a TCU tune adds any power, but rather better manages shift points so that torque safely/optimally aligns with power output mapped in ECU tune. Nonetheless, a must have cuz 034 does it right.
@@1998swo ya you are correct. I miss read it. I was reading the difference between none tune vs stage 2 tune. That being said I just got the TCU stage 2 tune ontop of my ecu stage 2 tune. I can say it makes a big difference and it's worth it. Gear shifts are faster and much harder shifts.
Hey buddy, for the downpipe I recommend going catless. I have a catted ecs pipe now and it’s great, minimal smell but my buddy has a catless and the noise in the cab is very very similar and the smell is also very close, his just smells a bit more with the window down but otherwise the same. Going catless now means you’ll save money plus better sound plus you’ll be able to run 034 test pipe files which usually allow for a nice fireworks show in the back. Highly recommend catless, I’ll just be punching out my cat when the files are released from 034. If u care about the environment, go for catted lol

Just to say I've had mine tuned and I pushed out 520 bhp confirmed dyno run to match , I'm planning to stage 3 soon

We didn’t let it build enough boost before launching, we are definitely redoing the 0-60
@@kulka89 OK that makes sense. Because I feel like having the boost fully set in would make the 0 to 60 a lot better. Maybe go drive around in circles to get the tires squealing to warm them up quicker for the best 0 to 60 time you can get.

And you move over to manual mode the car seems to respond different than if you were in “S” and shift it to manual.

What make and model are those rims? Looking into 034 tune, I have a APR stage 1 and it does not burble or pop.
I have a white b9 s4 just like yours. I think I’m gonna go with a catted dp and a AWE track cat back. Catted only because of the extremely harsh emission laws in my area. Would love to see you get a catted dp to compare to mikes car
Definitely think we’re leaning towards catted since mike is already running catless 🤔
Pretty strict in my area too, unless the tune turns monitors off (which it shouldn’t) you should be able to pass emissions np and if for some reason you throw a code an 02 spacer should fix that. Do they do a visual inspection or still sniff the tailpipe in your area?
You guys dont have E85 in and around the area where you live? Its quite a bit cheaper and also has improved cooling! I had an A4 that made over 400lb.ft of torque on E85 with a 2.0T and Stage 2.
We do have e85 but since the weather is getting in the 30s cars dont really like it. But we will definitely try the e85 in the spring!
You are right Mike I forgot the A4 had 5 injectors the 5th was for cold starts, wouldn’t run too good in a car not set up for it and cold weather. Umbers are still very impressive for 93!

The ZF trans is the best in the business right now and can handle power well. We still have yet to find the Limit on it and there is a reason most of the high end automotive companies are using it in their line ups

Very nice but seems like stage 2 would be closer to 3.5 or more of an improvement then just .2 seconds from the 4.0 on other tune. It sure does seem a lot faster and stronger. Idk maybe the elevation is a factor here. Love the car though well done. My 22 is only few months old I’m debating on tuning stage 1 or not what u think go for it?
Definitely and launching these cars are tricky. Considering mike is on 20 inch wheels it could make a difference in time. And I would say go for stage 1 👍

you should ask 034 about that.

Not necessarily. Most actually optimize the cars performance so under normal driving you may see an increase. But once you tune it, are you really going to drive more economically? Lol😂

I get 3.7s consistently on Stage 1. DA, tires, launch, slope, all that are going to impact the times.
Is your transmission tuned too? And did you feel like you needed a couple engine cycles to get full power after tuning?

Is the ticking at 7:00 the injectors? My 2018 S4 also makes said ticking noise, but sometimes very loud. Like I hear it with my music on and the windows up
yes it is injectors, some days they are louder and some days its quieter. I guess it depends on the mood haha

Is he on after marker diverter valve ? And when launching he’s got to go to kickdown to build boost and get into Amax , that’s why the 0-60 aren’t crazy good

We still have the cayman s, hard to do much with it now since Chicago has a couple of inches of snow on the ground 😅. Most likely doing headers and a tune this spring!

Why don’t you use the launch control my a4 has it so I’m sure an s4 should too traction control off dynamic mode just push brake to the floor and floor it should activate it
S4 and A4 LC is totally different. You can’t launch the s4 at 4k like you can the a4 since it uses a converter trans.
