Makes sense since it has 2 doors less than the rest here. An s4 with the same tune would have been a perfect rival as it weighs roughly 1710kg.

It’s all down to the tune. Doesn’t matter if it’s “stage 1” or “stage 2”. A Stage 1 e85 tune from 034 makes more than a 98 ron stage 2 tune. In this case, the Audi was probably making more power, but im certain it was making more torque. Around 550-580 lb ft of torque (740-780nm)

@@PapiAndreythe stage does matter. The BMW is using a stage 1 tune which means it’s design for a stock car(no supporting mods). The S5 is tuned for upgraded cooling and downpipes and the C43 downpipes as well.
Honestly coming from an S5 & now owning the latest gen RS5, & also owning an M4 comp previously, off the line and for all round performance you cannot beat an Audi. I genuinely thing they are always underrated, treated as the underdog & do not get the credit they deserve

I have the S5 SB weighted on the scale and it's 1810kg no driver full tank. Also the 034 stage 2 tune has a bit more power than 450 hp. He could have hot even better times if he used the E85 variant of the TCU tune.
They all about the same when they moving, from a dig the s5 just hooksa with brake boost (que front diff issues jamie😉) and he had the boost sweet spot in a roll, talk about knowing your car. Fair play to anderson.
The S5 lost the 1st race because he wasnt in dynamic mode (race mode) so the car had to kick down a gear soon as he pressed the accelerator. Good race 👌🏼

I own the exact same c43 but stock. Seeing that s5 shoot of the line is on the next level. The driver did a pretty good job launching the c43 seeing as it doesn’t have an inbuilt launch functionality. Good job man 👍🏾
I also have a C43 (Facelift) and had a C300 facelift prior to it. These cars do have launch control - you just have to know how to engage it. Foot on the brake, other on the gas pedal. Here’s where folks f it up: if you don’t click the kickdown button that’s under the throttle pedal, you’re not getting into “launch mode”. The vehicle will hold itself at around 2-3k rpm. The rest is common sense; go! Lol.

For those saying the S5 is pushing 500bhp+ I have a stage 1 RS5 510bhp 750nm 0-60 - 3.0s 1/4 Mile - 11.3s 100-200 - 8.1s That S5 is a fair bit less than 500bhp. Even on that bad surface it’s times would of be quicker than they where especially on the role, 9.95 100-200 ain’t 500bhp+ trust me. 👍🏼 Jamie will also know this considering he owned one! 😎
9.95 is slow! In M mode goes under 9s, sorry rs5 😉 my s5 coupe with 034 Stage 2+ E85 needs 8.04s, 1/4 Mile in 11.1s and 60-130 mph in 9.3s (dyno test: 490 hp 880 nm)

Maybe yours is putting out more than you think but it’s just been proven on the above video 450bhp does a high 9 so if your running low 8’s then your looking over 500bhp. Which is a good thing. 👍🏼

You can tell there are alot of kids in this comments sections with very little exposure to these cars … its hard to launch this gen of bmws and mercs from my experience they have a pretty bad delay so its always hard to judge when you launch on drags and on the lights

The BMW has a MST induction kit. It’s arguable as to whether they add any worthwhile power over a panel filter. It’ll come alive with a downpipe. I was slightly disappointed at the sound, maybe it still has the opf fitted?

Why did they give the M340i the disadvantage as it’s the only one with the stock downpipe and stage 1..? I think we all know the results if it had a catless downpipe and stage 2 tune. This M340i ran bone stock 1/4 mile trap speeds (114mph) which is an indication that its mods isn’t helping any.

My C43 Estate would do 100-200 in 9.5 secs on Dragy . Eurocharged custom Dyno tune, decat and Wagner chargecooler . fitted and Dyno tested at Msl. 1/4 mile 11.67 secs..or 11.8 at Santa Pod Unprepped surface.
I have a C43 allso and I've done faster 0 to 60 than him on a eurocharged stage 2 tune. I'm guessing his launches aren't that fast because the guy is litterly running two different tyres Pzero in front and Bridgestone in the back, that definitly messes up an awd drivetrain and is a big no, his diff will definitly not last long on that set up...
Same here, I own a sedan and with only a jb4 tune I’ve ran quicker times than this guy’s car on Dragy. I can’t lie though the results were what I expected 😅
Love all the comments crying that the audi was not 450hp, the 034 stage 2 tunes are all 450. Dunno why the guy didn't choose the more reliable (and higher output) MRC stage 2 that would've had it easily knocking on the doors of 500. Can easily see it was all down to the launches and reaction times. The guy had it consistently nailed and the drivetrain handled the rest. The quattro system is still definitely something to contend with on any strip.
@@willneverstop 034 are known really more so in the US. The MRC tunes are much more widely used in the UK. Not hating on the 034 brand, just observing that more gains can be found for a stage 2 tune here, without having to upgrade the HX. "034 is the best S4/S5 tuner in the world". Where do you get that data from then? Bit of a claim. But some in the US do have a habit of assuming it is the centre of the universe.

@@DaveThaBossDTB I was actually referring to the B8 mate. My guess would be to get 500hp in the US you would need the stage 2+ that includes the ultracharger mod (throttle body replacement with increased bore size). APR currently do these, but they do need the FMIC upgraded too. Net gains are usually in the 540hp mark with that setup. For reference, my own B8 S4 is putting out just over 500hp, it is running an MRC stage 2 tune with the TVS stage 2+ TCU tune. It also has an Eventuri CAI which is what allows it that little extra to hit the 500 mark.

Which Stage 2 tune WITHOUT E85 is pushing 500hp numbers? The highest I have seen here in the US advertised is around ~450hp. I'm thinking about buying an RS5 but if a M340i stage 2 is able to beat a Stage1/2 RS5 (RS5 does not benefit power wise with aftermarket downpipes) then I will just buy a M340i for B58 reliability.

Because of the turbo setup. Rs models have a twin turbo setup consisting of 1 big and 1 small turbo bolted to a 2.9L V6. The S models have 1 big twinscroll turbo. Mounted perfectly on top, and squeezed between the V of the 3.0L V6 engine for minimal turbo lag. Truly a piece of engineering and art. I'm looning into buying the exact same coupe as this one. What you get for the money is mad. If an alien where to come down and drive my car he'd have to be like 'damn, this shit really look like a spaceship' looool im just fucking around.
I would personally own the Mercedes c43 luxury and sportiness combined I know it’s not the quickest out of the 3 but it’s performance is good for these British roads I still love the c43 well done m340i and s5

I have a 2018 Audi S5 Sportback(400lbs heavier than this one) with only a 034M Stage 1 ECU+TCU and downpipe, no front mount intercooler, I run 11.91 1/4 mile. I don’t think the BMW will have it with a downpipe he’ll need more before the next rematch, another great video by OG GASSED tho kir!

Why did they give the M340i the disadvantage as it’s the only one with the stock downpipe and stage 1..? I think we all know the results if it had a catless downpipe and stage 2 tune. This M340i ran bone stock 1/4 mile trap speeds (114mph) which is an indication that its mods isn’t helping any.

My C43 Estate would do 100-200 in 9.5 secs on Dragy . Eurocharged custom Dyno tune, decat and Wagner chargecooler . fitted and Dyno tested at Msl.
1/4 mile 11.67 secs..or 11.8 at Santa Pod Unprepped surface.
I have a C43 allso and I've done faster 0 to 60 than him on a eurocharged stage 2 tune. I'm guessing his launches aren't that fast because the guy is litterly running two different tyres Pzero in front and Bridgestone in the back, that definitly messes up an awd drivetrain and is a big no, his diff will definitly not last long on that set up...
Same here, I own a sedan and with only a jb4 tune I’ve ran quicker times than this guy’s car on Dragy. I can’t lie though the results were what I expected 😅

Love all the comments crying that the audi was not 450hp, the 034 stage 2 tunes are all 450. Dunno why the guy didn't choose the more reliable (and higher output) MRC stage 2 that would've had it easily knocking on the doors of 500. Can easily see it was all down to the launches and reaction times. The guy had it consistently nailed and the drivetrain handled the rest. The quattro system is still definitely something to contend with on any strip.

@@willneverstop 034 are known really more so in the US. The MRC tunes are much more widely used in the UK. Not hating on the 034 brand, just observing that more gains can be found for a stage 2 tune here, without having to upgrade the HX.

I am an Audi guy but always conceded that BMW makes more power on Stage 2 vs everything else. If the B9 S4/5 can make close to 500bhp, how do I get those numbers here in the US?
@@DaveThaBossDTB I was actually referring to the B8 mate. My guess would be to get 500hp in the US you would need the stage 2+ that includes the ultracharger mod (throttle body replacement with increased bore size). APR currently do these, but they do need the FMIC upgraded too. Net gains are usually in the 540hp mark with that setup. For reference, my own B8 S4 is putting out just over 500hp, it is running an MRC stage 2 tune with the TVS stage 2+ TCU tune. It also has an Eventuri CAI which is what allows it that little extra to hit the 500 mark.

The highest I have seen here in the US advertised is around ~450hp.
I'm thinking about buying an RS5 but if a M340i stage 2 is able to beat a Stage1/2 RS5 (RS5 does not benefit power wise with aftermarket downpipes) then I will just buy a M340i for B58 reliability.

Because of the turbo setup. Rs models have a twin turbo setup consisting of 1 big and 1 small turbo bolted to a 2.9L V6. The S models have 1 big twinscroll turbo. Mounted perfectly on top, and squeezed between the V of the 3.0L V6 engine for minimal turbo lag. Truly a piece of engineering and art. I'm looning into buying the exact same coupe as this one. What you get for the money is mad. If an alien where to come down and drive my car he'd have to be like 'damn, this shit really look like a spaceship' looool im just fucking around.

I would personally own the Mercedes c43 luxury and sportiness combined I know it’s not the quickest out of the 3 but it’s performance is good for these British roads I still love the c43 well done m340i and s5

I have a 2018 Audi S5 Sportback(400lbs heavier than this one) with only a 034M Stage 1 ECU+TCU and downpipe, no front mount intercooler, I run 11.91 1/4 mile. I don’t think the BMW will have it with a downpipe he’ll need more before the next rematch, another great video by OG GASSED tho kir!
