  • Welcome to "Verdant Ride," where we dive into the world of efoil racing with our fearless racer, Stephan. Join us as we embark on an exhilarating adventure, conquering challenges, and pushing the limits of efoil racing.
In this action-packed video, Stephan takes on the Lift Summer Flyby Tour, a marketing event sponsored by Lift eFoils and coordinated by Minnesota Wake. Special thanks to Beth from Zenwatersports.com for convincing Stephan to join the race and experience the thrill firsthand.
Buckle up as Stephan shares his snarky cynicism and unwavering determination, battling against false starts, faulty timing, and the treacherous underwater weeds that plagued the racecourse at Moonlight Bay (or perhaps Moonlight Bat). These prop-clogging obstacles tested the skills of every racer, forcing them to navigate a challenging course while keeping their cool.
Follow Stephan's journey as he showcases the exhilaration and precision of efoil racing, all while shedding light on the quirks and mishaps that unfolded during the Lift Summer Flyby Tour. It's a wild ride filled with adrenaline, unexpected twists, and a touch of humor that will keep you entertained from start to finish.
Don't miss out on the electrifying world of efoil racing with "Verdant Ride" and Stephan at the helm. Join us as we carve through the water, overcoming obstacles, and embracing the thrill of high-speed action on Lift eFoils.
Special thanks to the coordinators (who I tease mercilessly throughout the video)

Cool show 😁 love the realism 😉 wish i could afford one of these but a poor boy not good at saving $ 😉 i am building my own for a try. Got a beautiful board. 5'2", 75L great wing. Big but good for beginner like myself. AK Durable supplies co. Trek 2000 with 71cm (forgot name. Metal piece from front wing to mast to rear), 360mm rear stabilizer wing i believe and a 80cm carbon fiber mast 😁 got a flipsky 65161 motor and 75/350 controller with a 14s4p boston swing battery. Big cells 5200mah. 200a capable battery. Got a nanuk case for battery and controller. Should work good i hope 😉 I'm 44 years old tomorrow but maybe one of these days i will get enough saved up for the latest production model 😁 i am in Buffalo NY and have never even seen anybody on one of these so I'm Sure it will be very popular. We are a bit behind out here 😉 keep the great videos coming man!!! Huge fan 😁

send pics of your build when you get it together. Look forward to seeing it fly. Working on my own homebuilt/frankenstein efoil contraption myself this winter. Hope neither of us catches fire come spring time and take our maiden voyage.

I am surprised Moonlight Bat was spared the thunderstorms, the race must have been after the storm. I was looking at the weather radar

On the 3 hour drive up to the event it looked pretty nasty but the clouds cleared as we carried our gear to the docks.

@Stephan4ghOst That figures for me, I was going to drive up, I started to and then the rain 🌧 here in Blaine and the radar, I gave up. Next time .

Seems like good fun anyways, but bro you need to work on your pop up, or get a 4.9 🤙

Not all of my hop-ups can be blamed on me or my board. Weeds will stop any board dead in the water and killed most riders that day. And a 4.9 isn't the solution. Most people had a 4.9 and if you watched their ability to bank you'll see, the Pro is significantly superior to larger boards.

You take forever to get on foil that’s why you didn’t like the rules. I would love those rules and own it because I’m on foil instantly I literally almost don’t even need the board.

Also the sad non exciting spectacle is due to the kooky level caliber of riders. Getting on foil if done professionally is as exciting as anything else and instantaneous

you probably won't be all that fast with weeds in your prop. But Who knows?
