When I was ~13, (I’m 18 now) there was an electric blue Outerlimits dry docked for a year at the marina my dad kept his boat at. For two whole summers, every time he would fill up on gas, me, my brother, cousins and/or friends would walk all around around the damn thing, staring at it.
Watching that guy get so excited during acceleration was priceless and made this video worth watching! That boat is ridiculously incredible. I hope to luck up one day and just get to sit in the passenger seat for a ride.
Never really thought of it before but the water is one the last places of pure freedom! And I've always loved fast cars and bikes but truthfully a fast boat or jet ski are the machines to have pure fun and freedom on without the cost of breaking laws 😂
THE THING THAT PISSES ME OFF ABOUT STEVE CURTIS IS THAT HE IS A 8 TIMES WORLD CHAMPION AND YET IN ENGLAND, HE IS UNKNOWN SAME FOR STEVE WEBSTER 10 TIMES SIDECAR WORLD CHAMPION.
Bravo Steve and Maurizio👏🏽👏🏽. I could nearly feel the speed through my screen with Maurizio's charismatic commentary. Also I'm getting Lamborghini Miura vibes with that tapered rear end.
I remember years ago when Steve Curtis was a throttle man when he was a world champion the boat had twin Lambo V12 engines from the Muira great to see Steve still enjoying racing boats keep going Steve our our hero
One time I opened the throttle wide open on my 1965 wooden 28 foot Tollycraft Voyager. The Perkins 4107 was guzzling 1.5 gallons of diesel per hour. I actually saw 10.5 mph on the GPS but the tide was going out around 2 mph so that helped. We got there an hour later and ate BBQ chicken from the Magma grill. This Outer Limits burned more fuel 2 minutes after he started the Port engine than we did the whole day. We caught a legal sturgeon, too.
Siamo a livelli inimmaginabili, estasi ed orgasmo adrenalinico puro, velocità fantascientifiche per qualsiasi "normale" diportista ! Imbarcazione stupenda, punto 💖 E come sempre grazie a Maurizio e THE BOAT SHOW 😉
I have a buddy with a 35’ Checkmate that will hit 75 mph and that speed on water shakes on my nerves. Especially if it hits a wake and gets air. 165 is insane!
ECCELLENTE.. 😍😍
Max P He mentions the autobahn. But, he’s correct. Even the autobahn has restrictions and the sections where you can go wide open have diminished over the years.
Good to see Outerlimits pushing the envelope still further. Good to see after a horrible tragedy 6 years ago. Human spirit keep pushing on staying positive.
I can’t speak or understand what the gentleman was saying, but with the excitement in his expression and tone of his commentary, you don’t need to understand...! What an amazing boat. Beats my tinny with one of those “temperamental “ outboards on back!!
The damn warranty would expire before I made the first payment! Then again...if you can afford this boat, you don't really care about the cost to rebuild the motors after every poker run!
Wow what a machine. I had a hustler go fast in Rhode Island back in the late 90s and Outerlumits boats were the Ferrari of boats at that time. Nice to see them continuing to build some of the most sexy boats.
Most transatlantic crossings are 3100 miles so if they ran 160 mph steady it would take 19 hours which is doable if the ocean was flat.... but these boats average about .7-.9 mile per gallon I believe on each engine that’s a lot of fuel and
Forget the Atlantic, from here to the Bahamas in ~20 minutes! Not sure if the poles would stay in the pole holders at top speed, but at least it wouldn't take long to run back and pick up your spares if you lost them.

I love Maurizio as a host, even though I don't speak any Italian it spices up the videos and gives them the Italian flare that I really enjoy
I dont speak italian but for some reason i can understand 90% of what he is saying since it sounds extremely similar to castellano.
Jonathan Cabanas There’s something called “Romance languages”, you know...
His excitement really adds to the video.
Childish

The sounds of a man loving his job.
Do you blame him

Outstanding! Love him!
Seems like a nice guy but I kinda wish he'd shut up and let me hear the craft
Amen to that!!😆😆
The back of the boat looks like a Lamborghini Aventador.
Ah oui je pensais la même chose! C'est la Lamborghini des mers
As soon as I saw that back I started looking in the comments 😭
They have two mti lambo boats a green one and a yellow one
Which is what the MTI 48 is based off of.

Wow what a blessing
I think I enjoyed Maurizio's pure, unbridled joy at going so fast even more than the amazing boat itself!!
I'm french but this guy speak so clearly i can understand everything. Take care neighbours
hahaha same here !
Maybe it is the dialect?
@@ceboz wtf
@@niilespunkari8832 no, it is a perfect italian.
When you absolutely positively have to show a proper fast boat being fast, accept no substitute......Curtis for all your speed needs.
What a machine. It's so sorted out and refined. It's like the Bugatti of fast boats. Sure, other boats are fast, but this looks effortless.
Love it! I bet Maurizio had a smile for two days after this run. Amazing!!
I didn’t even realise my passion for boats til I watched this....

What a fantastic presenter. I love watching him and when I win the lotto I’m going to meet up with him and buy boats. 👍
$5000 spent on fuel and not a single fish caught lol.
I thought I was the only one that thought like this.
bravoboy123 if you can’t afford the fuel you can’t afford that boat, gas NO PROBLEM FOR THE RICH.
Intelligent Thanos that costs many times more than a sports car and can only go 185😐
damn fish are fast as fuck these days ! i remember catching them in a row boat
The fish caught on that boat dont get pan fried but they get eaten out raw😂

Actually, the speed limit inside Biscayne Bay is 35mph… wildly illegal where they were doing 150+mph.
The last place of pure freedom is also German Autobahn! ;-)
I was amazed at how quiet it was in the cockpit. The only thing that comes to mind is WOW !

Just storage and electronics with sedeck up front and batteries/ generator/ and ac in the back
No galley or cabins there...only stalls for all the horses!

10 hours at max rpm...
